Send stay and we will ALWAYS stay at this hotel when we come to Jackson Mississippi! Even though it's 15 to 20 minutes out of the city it is worth it! GREAT staff, Damaris and Raven took the best care of us!!

This is a really nice hotel. It is located off the beaten path as it is outside of Jackson city limits. There are a few restaurants nearby, but nothing upscale. The hotel is fairly new and is stunning. My room was ready upon my arrival and I received a free upgrade. I had a really nice king size bed, there were two televisions, a computer and a big walk in shower. The area was quiet and the workers were friendly. The only drawback is the GPS takes you on a tour to get to this location. Additionally, there is construction going on nearby too. It didn't take long to figure out where to turn.

Stayed here 05/06/16 overnight in room 303. Very nice hotel. As soon as you enter, the lobby is so modern, clean, and inviting. Also, the front desk employee, Erica, was very pleasant and had such southern hospitality, the first impression was everything. The room was spacious and clean...comfy bed...two TVs...living room area with a couch and desk...microwave and refrigerator...nice, clean bathroom. One thing to note, if you're the type who takes baths in hotels, the bathroom only has a shower, so don't expect a bathtub. I love the shower though... glass doors, adequate shower pressure, nice lighting. The hotel also offered free breakfast...we slept through it, so I can't comment on that =) I would totally recommend this hotel and when I'm in Clinton again I'll definitely stay here.

A brand new Fairfield Inn located in Clinton Mississippi. This is a great location to stay and I would highly recommend it. Very fresh appearance inside and out along with brand accommodations makes for perfect stay.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Jackson,…read moreMississippi. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I have had at a Hilton property. To begin on a positive note, the check-in experience was excellent. The staff was welcoming, my digital key worked perfectly, and my room was clean upon arrival. My first day was pleasant, and I was looking forward to the remainder of my stay. However, beginning on the second day, the quality of service declined significantly. When I returned to my room, the beds had not been made, the towels had not been exchanged, and the box of facial tissue had not been replenished, despite only containing one tissue upon my arrival. Additionally, one of the two rolls of toilet tissue had already been used as it was partial to begin with and not replaced. I contacted the front desk, and the attendant informed me that there was no one available to bring towels or tissue to my room. While this was inconvenient, I understood that staffing challenges can occur. I then asked why my room had not been serviced, and I was told that the hotel performs only a "partial cleaning" on the second day, with a full cleaning scheduled for the third day. Although I was disappointed, I accepted the explanation. Unfortunately, the situation only worsened. On the third day, I again returned to an unserviced room. My beds remained unmade, no fresh towels had been provided, no facial tissue had been replenished, and even the dirty towels had not been removed. Ironically, I could hear housekeeping staff working in the hallway outside my room. From what I could tell, the only service performed during this so-called "partial cleaning" was replacing the bath mat. It was not until my final day that someone was finally able to deliver fresh towels to my room--something I had been requesting for several days. I was also disappointed with the breakfast service. On my first morning, I asked if I could order from the menu. The employee informed me that he was working alone and therefore could not take orders, despite signage indicating that made-to-order breakfast was available. Then, on my final evening, I observed several employees gathered around the bar, which appeared to be fully staffed and busy each night. It was difficult to understand why basic guest services, such as room servicing and breakfast orders, were unavailable due to staffing shortages while multiple employees appeared to be assigned elsewhere. As a longtime Hilton guest, I expect a much higher standard of service. While I understand that staffing shortages and operational challenges occur, they should not come at the expense of basic housekeeping, guest amenities, or advertised services. Unfortunately, this experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I do not plan to stay at this property again. I hope Hilton reviews the operations at this location to ensure future guests receive the level of service that is expected from the Hilton brand. Also no one ever responds to the app in the chat and there is no phone in the room for you to call a front desk.

Wish we could have seen them in bloom. 5. Can order nicely prepared meals to room or eat in library lounge - breakfast or dinner. Def an old southern feel to the place. Cons: 1. Parking was tight and hard to to manuever but they did have a cart available for rooms that are further away - partially broken. 2. In downtown area, kind of dingy and run down - but somewhat charming w many old craftsman homes around. 3. Could have used some hanging baskets and annuals for more color and charm - would help brighten the mood of the run down area of town - 4. And wish theyd answer the phones. We left messages almost everytime we called (they were good about calling back). This leaves one feeling disconnected from a warm hospitable experience.

The staff I will say are great and try to help with what they can. The first room I checked into was so hot and filthy, I had to request a room change. Not sure why I was given a handy accessible room with a broken faucet, dirty floors and dirty walls. I know it's been hot lately (78F) but the AC units don't seem to keep up in this building at all. The temps in the rooms barely budge lower and sometimes even creep up! Also power seems to be unreliable as it goes out at least once a day! Building looks a little neglected with lots of hallway lightbulbs not working, and just small issues like paint and cracks on doors. At first glance everything will look fine until you start looking more closely. Breakfast is just your usual complimentary fare of eggs and bacon, bagels, yogurt, juice and coffee. You can make yourself some mini waffles with syrup if that's your preference. I did enjoy the coffee very much. Couldn't access the pool as the room cards don't seem to unlock the gate and staff don't really know why. Wifi is also very spotty at this location as I regularly get disconnected for 30-60 minutes at a time. No water is provided so you'll have to get your own. Showers are nice and large with nice smelling soaps. Unfortunately, no moisturizing lotions but Jackson is fairly humid so you might not need. Beds are large and comfortable with those terrible hotel pillows. It's kind of your no frills residential hotels for a decent price.

I love the Hilton brand, and arrived to this location after having left a Hilton in NYC (Time…read moreSquare). I'm attached to this chain, but let's say that this one in Jackson should lose its Hilton branding. It's a beautiful lobby, very ornate and stately. I was surprised at how nice it was when I walked in. I had high hopes, but it went down hill from the time I checked-in: #1 Key system was down upon check-in (after arranging for pre-check and digital key before I arrived) -- and had to be escorted to my room on the 7th floor for about 24 hours. I never got access to the digital key despite 2 different front desk people telling me that it should be working. #2 I was so happy to see a fridge and microwave in the room, but with that comes pests, and I was assaulted by fruit flies during my 4-night stay. This was the worst part of the stay. Really gross, as they were flying in my eyes, and face, and jumping into my drink cups. They were all In the bathrooms, desk, curtains, nightstands, etc. #3 By day 2, their app-based valet car retrieval service was down, and it didn't come back online until a day before my check-out. What was supposed to be convenient ended up being a delay. Kudos to the valets for hustling as fast as they could during the inconvenience. #4 Arrived at the bar/grill one night because the literature said they close at 10, and by 9:10 -- they were like the Kitchen is closed. Okay. Thought closing hours (ON A FRIDAY) were 10. #5 The literature in the bathroom says that they clean your room every other day. I was there 4 days before anyone serviced my room, and then they didn't leave any towels. I didn't noticed that I had no towels (I returned to my room late in the evening) until I got up to head to the airport the next morning. #6 Forget trying to close the closet door in my room -- it was almost falling off the hinges. The only reason that I don't give this 1-star is because it has the potential to be better. Convenient location. Modern/online amenities like check-in and valet apps. And the lobby space is beautiful and the rooms are nice and spacious. I appreciated the 24-hour valet and being able to get or drop off my car whenever I want. The upkeep needs to be better to ensure that all systems are operating at the level that we expect of a Hilton brand hotel.

Moving on to the microwave, it is old and missing half the paint and barely warmed up pizza. Oh pizza! The menu they provide is so out of date we called the number on it to get pizza delivered and the place closed 2 years ago! The toilet flushes but does not go down. The bathtub drains so slow and it has what appears to be a dirt "Ring" around the bottom of it where the water drained to slow and was not cleaned out. Behind the toilet paper roll (the holder is rusty) was pieces and parts of other paper laying in there. The ceiling vent is not completely attached to the ceiling. My wife called down to report the toilet and she was told to come get a plunger and try it her self. She found some "Workers" around the corner and grabbed one from them but not before catching a contact buzz first from the area ;-) ;-) ;-) The light fixture above the sink/hand washing station and where the coffee maker is located is actually showing exposed wiring and innards of the light fixture. Need I say more? I have pictures to back up my post but I'm not a Yelper and not so sure I can post them. Oh the lobby looked nice and neat. Very small but nice and neat.
