Very poorly managed. Coffee was clear rust colored and the staff insisted it was perfectly fine. Lady at check in was acting like a water buffalo about to attack and was very annoyed with me because my room keys would not work. I stay in Hilton properties statewide over 100 nights a year. This might be the worst hotel outside of hinds county. Ac unit looked like it was from the 1980s. read more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Flowood, MS for 12 nights. We were treated wonderfully! Breakfast every morning was plentiful along with coffee and juices. The front desk treated us great! They were friendly and helpful. We were forced out ou home due to a storm causing da to our home. The hotel made our stay so comfortable. It made being out of our house bearable. After having to take an unexpected trip to Mississippi we arrived at this hotel at 4 am and due to our circumstances, our stay would count for the next day. Apparently this was NOT true, and now nobody has a recollection of saying this, even though we have several witnesses which can verify our claim. I'm hoping the hotel can also provide not only camera footage, but also audio. We brought up this issue numerous times, and kept being told to wait as the manager wasn't available. Hilton property has been our hotel of choice for well over a decade, and my partner and I are both independent gold members as we travel a lot. We had no reason to make up this story, and never have had any issues at other properties. Is this a reflection of how the brand is changing. Not very satisfied with the service we received. We stay at this hotel every time we come through the Flowood/Jackson area in Mississippi. It is always spotless! The lobby, the rooms, the kitchen area..... Everything is so clean. Nothing at all to complain about. Location is outstanding with lots of good restaurants nearby and access to everything you could possibly need. Friendly staff. Keep it up! read more

Very nice, new hotel in the Flowood area. The hotel staff is very sweet and willing to accomodate you, the only frustration is their shuttle has strange hours and since I tend to fly in late at night I'm going to have to rent a car every time, or drive from Dallas (boo either way). Back to the actual hotel, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable! This is the most important aspect of any hotel for me, everything else is extra. A large flat screen TV is in the corner along with a hidden refrigerator and microwave. Neither are large so don't go buy a bunch of food items, but it's good enough for some leftovers if you go out to dinner. Bathroom is well lit and has TWO wall sockets, this made me so happy because if you're a woman and have a hair dryer and a flat iron, you can't fit the large plugs on a single wall plate. This scored some bonus points for me. They only had a shower, no tub, which is fine cause I don't take baths and the extra space in the shower was kind of nice. Small workout room, but enough to burn some calories. Speaking of calories, let's talk about breakfast. They always have some hot food options (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). They have a waffle maker and pastries that are stocked every morning. I went for the oatmeal which had a "fixins" stand right by it with dried fruits, sliced almonds and brown sugar. MMMMM. They also have more "continental breakfast" options like cereal and breads. They provide various coffees and juices which is good, and if you're in a rush they actually have "grab and go" breakfast bags at the front desk. Great thing about this hotel is it's close to everything! I didn't have to drive more than 15 minutes to get anywhere. I actually enjoyed it so much I've already booked my stay at this hotel for next month. read more

Hubby and I had just a quick stay here as we were traveling. We checked in rather late and left right after breakfast, so we did not have a chance to check out the exercise room, pool, or spend much time here in non-sleeping mode. I can say, though, that we found the lobby to be spacious and attractive, the staff efficient and friendly. Most importantly, our room was clean (even in the corners of the bathroom). Our bed was crisp, clean, and comfortable. The shower was hot with good water pressure. Breakfast was standard hotel fare...premade, processed, carb heavy. The fresh fruit (melon) was hard, and there were not really any other healthy options except oatmeal...and I am not a fan of that stuff. Yogurt and cereal selections were all sweetened variety. Food offerings were not that great in quality, but, I guess, free and convenient, definitely adequate, especially for people who eat the standard American diet. What we would have improved...the temperature in our room seemed to fluctuate quite a bit. The room would become too cold before the heat switched on, and then it would become too hot. This was the cycle all night. Also, the light/fan combo above the shower in the bathroom was LOUD, like running a buzz saw in there, which made the unit pretty much unusable. I mentioned this to the desk clerk at check out. He said he would bring it to maintenance's attention, but I could tell by his nonchalant attitude that he probably wouldn't. A strange thing...the coffee machine was located in the bathroom, which doesn't seem like a very good idea, germ-wise. There is a much better location for it in the sleeping area read more

Bugs. Bugs. BUGS, MY DUDE! Dead bugs, live bugs, bugs obviously paying rent and angry that I'm invading their space. It felt like Joe's Apartment. There's nothing else I can say about this hotel besides the bugs. I was afraid to fall asleep at night because one of them might crawl into my ear and set up camp with its comrades. And there were weird, blonde strands of hair all over the bathroom floor. Look at me. Do I look like I possess long, blonde hair? Disgusting. Hair normally doesn't bother me because I know some people shed like crazy, but that combined with the bugs? Oh no. And there was some on the bedsheets too! Housekeeping was severely lacking. Never in my life have I seen such a lazily made bed. And the rooms smelled like butthole and cigarettes. This place is so dirty. I hope we never stay here again. read more

I have traveled for business for 17 years and never been treated as poorly as I was treated this weekend by the manager/owner of this establishment Bhavik Patel. I had 6 rooms booked for the weekend and he called and cancelled them the day I was to check in unless I agreed to a $58 /night increase. He was rude and aggressive. I would recommend you find an alternate place to stay whether it's for business or pleasure. In all my years of traveling and planning events, this has never happened. Take my advice and don't stay somewhere that wants to jack the price up on you last minute. read more

We stayed here for a night before my scheduled c-section. The inside does NOT look like a hampton, it is very updated, modern, and nice. The room was modern as well, clean, and we had no issues with it, including that the air actually got COLD! This is a BIG thing for me. The water was hot. The bed was quite comfortable. Stayed at this Hampton Inn for a couple of nights of business. Located about 15 minutes from Jackson Airport, this Hampton Inn is one of the nicer mid range hotels I've been too. It's a fairly new construction and located behind a strip mall, so it might take a while to fine. When I got here they had all my reservation information. The lobby is nice and has a newer modern look to it. Got to my room and the modern and clean look continued up into the room. The room was a decent size and nicely laid out. Definitely some thought and planning went into the design of this place. It had a nice size desk along, a 20inch flat screen (but no hi-def) with several cable options & HBO, a nice size bed, a mini frig and microwave. They also offer both free wifi and lan internet. The bathroom is nicely laid out with the shower (no tub), sink, and toilet all in the same room. They do have a dividing wall between the toilet and sink so it gives a little bit of privacy. The bathroom also was very nice and tiled. The bed was a nice king size and was comfortable. It was pretty cushy and had a good night sleep on it. Noise insulation is also very good here. I didn't hear my neighbors or any noise outside. They have a nice plexor gym here but with only a couple of machines and free weights. Each machine has it's own TV and you can borrow headphones as well. They have a nice indoor pool as well. They offer a decent free breakfast with scrambled eggs, breads, waffle, fruit, juice, and coffee. One of the nicer free breakfast options. This Hampton Inn is also located close to a couple of new strip malls, so you have plenty of options within a 5 minute drive. Paid about $100 a night. Overall thought this was a really good deal and would recommend to other business travelers as one of the nicer mid range hotels I've been too. 4 Stars for this Hampton Inn. read more

Other than some issues with the rather slow moving check-in line, this is a perfectly acceptable business class hotel. It's a Hampton Inn - and it's exactly as you would expect. Comfortable room, good wi-fi, complimentary USA Today, passable but limited workout out room, indoor pool. In other words nothing out of the ordinary but quite reliable. Oh, of course Hampton Inns are affiliated with Hilton so you get the excellent Hilton Honors points for staying here....always a good thing! read more

Mom traveling with two kids under 5 in tow. Glad I chose this hotel in this area of Mississippi. Very nice area offering plenty of food choices in the immediate proximity. Reception was pleasant and welcoming. Lobby is clean and bright. We found parking close to the front entrance without difficulty despite leaving to enjoy a meal nearby (which was a huge plus). We found our suite clean and relaxing. Looking out our window was nothing special as we were set directly by the mega-powerful light likely amplifying the hotel brand next to the flag pole. But oh well, I was thrilled to have a clean and welcoming hotel after such a disappointing visit to Best Western Plus the previous night. The bathroom was quite clean and presentable with complimentary travel hygiene samples. I appreciate that the rolled towels were placed in its own cubby shelving too. Bedding was comfortable, however pillows were a little flat. Still, all in all good. Temperature was easy to set to true comfort level. Breakfast was a little disappointing in that rubbery eggs serve me no purpose. However, for a very basic breakfast on the fly one may not mind (I lean to a more healthy breakfast preference). Grandmother robbed! We stayed for our daughter turning 10 to celebrate with the indoor pool in the end of January just for the kids to get chlorine poisoning and had to stay in ER the following night from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. all the while being accused by the general manager that a window had been broken in one of our rooms and that we were going to pay for damages or he would have charges pressed against us which is not even typical hotel protocol we did not damage the window however he deemed it necessary to charge $400 not to my card because when he tried the funds were not available but to our grandmothers card who had offered to pay for 1 of the 2 rooms with her card for a birthday present for our child the grandmother did not have the room in her name did not stay as a guest just simply paid for the additional room as a gift and was charged for $400 for the window that she definitely didn't damage and being told by the manager that he'll refund her money when he gets our money!!! do not stay here I'm a Hilton's Honors member and got nowhere with them Apparently there's not a Hampton Inn corporate office . And no one knows who owns this hotel. Please for goodness sake .. don't stay run away!!! read more

After staying there while evacuating from hurricane ida, I accidentally left my expensive pillow that is used for my neck condition. I called the front desk within 30 minutes of checking out to let them know I left it. They informed me it was no big deal and they will find it and my wife can pick it up later that day when she gets off. When she arrived later that day, they told her they could not get in the lost in found for the day because housekeeping had left for the day. When she came the next morning, the manager was incredibly rude. He told her that we accused his staff of stealing and would not allow another employee to even go check the lost and found. He yelled at my wife while throwing things behind the desk. When I called to sort things out, he also yelled at me and told me I was lying and he never did that to my wife and that I took the pillow with me. It got to the point that Hilton honors had to step in and force the hotel to give me money for the pillow. I will never stay here again and I will make sure anyone I know will not either. The breakfast was also very old each morning. read more

This appears to be a new hotel in the Flowood area. Very close to the Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan. The room was very clean and modern. Flat screen TV and Wi-fi. The gym and breakfast was typical for this type of hotel. The shower for my room was big and roomy and was not a tub. Some people might not like not having a tub but i liked the larger shower. The shower had great pressure and was placed high enough that i could stand underneath. The sink was also a high sink and i did not have to bend down. hampton inns are the most comfortable hotels, (in my opinion). beds are great. as are the linens. They are my #1 hotels of choice.

Nice, clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Good rates. Clean pool area. Clean rooms. & The snack bar is a plus! You pay for the convenience for the larger items but if you're looking for something you'd find in a vending machine.. It's the same, reasonable price. My kids loved this after their evening swim time and shower. Everything here is right at your convenience. Welcoming staff and hotel is right behind Target/Starbucks, Shopping centers, Petsmart. Old Navy, backyard burgers, Chickfila, Ichiban Hibachi Grill and Ichiban Buffet(two separate restaurants) as well as very many more are all less than a mile away. For the price, you cannot beat! Good clean hotel, good clean room, good clean indoor pool with lots of seating. My kids and I loved our stay! We will be back! I definitely recommend The Hampton of Flowood! read more
