Stayed one night. Room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was a little small. Includes a complimentary breakfast. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

This property was Absolutely filthy, which is unusual for Marriot properties - even the low end ones. The comforters clearly had not been cleaned in quite some time (see photos of stains) and i doubt the sheets had either. I mean come on, we're just coming out of a pandemic. This is the grossest hotel I've stayed in since I was a college student. I also didn't feel super safe.

The hotel was clean & staff was nice. We booked this hotel based on the fact that they had an indoor heated pool. We attempted to get in but it was so cold only 1 of us got in and only for a few minutes. Extremely disappointing when this was your main reason for booking at this hotel . Also, and this is minor there was a fairly large tear in our curtain. Not that this is major but when you are paying over $200 for 1 night you kind of expect more . JMO

I'm a Marriott rewards member, and prefer staying at Marriott brand hotels; however, I will never stay at the Fairfield Inn, Binghamton, NY again. I travel quite a bit for work and expect my room to be clean. On this particular occasion, I was traveling to visit family. As soon as my daughter and I entered our room, she made the comment that our room smelled like a well-used sneaker - which was very accurate. The carpet was in need of a very deep vacuuming and several of the white towels had yellow stains. The bathroom floor had a lot of hair, none of which were ours. Speaking of the bathroom, it had a very unusual shape which required you to walk all the into the bathroom and stand on the side of the toilet in order to shit the bathroom door. I definitely do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Remodeled and clean room. Smell cigarettes a little bit.

The restaurant was great. My husband had a steak he loved, the boys had chicken strips and fries, and macaroni and cheese, (although I do recommend to the hotel to get rid of the black bowls that you serve Mac and cheese to kids in, it's weird to them....looks like a witches brew) and I ordered the portobello ravioli, but I didn't get to eat it hot due to the kids. Looked delish though! We went to the pool, which was nice and clean, and they had plenty of extra towels. This was the only part of our stay. The lady asking us to sign in, was extremely bossy, and pissy towards everyone there. She walked through the pool several times yelling at people about where they were allowed to sit, or what floats they were allowed to use. Slamming containers as she put them away and putting the lock on it. Everyone in the pool was talking about it, all 8 or 9 of us she was trying to treat like Privates. My high ranking husband in the military, nor I, appreciated her superiority complex. She needs to be in another department that doesn't deal with people, but I'd bet my last dollar she's organized and on time. We had an extra cot brought up for the grands, and the man that brought it up treated the kids like royalty. They've not been to many nice hotels anyway, so this was an adventure in their hometown. So special to this Mama Lu that they slept like angels. I choose DoubleTree every time it's available to me because the pillows and bed are a guaranteed great night sleep, every single time, no matter the location.

Honestly I did not expect much because it was Binghamton. The food was good, the taste was comparable to some restaurants I've tried in the city. We ordered 2 Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon Butter Milk Smashed Potatoes and Sauteed Mustard Greens ($14 each), a Grilled Chicken Panni with Portabello Mushroom, Smoked Cheddar Cheese and Sauteed Mustard Greens, and a Salad(forgot which one) with Grilled Ahi Tuna. All the dishes were presented nicely in terms of culinary art. I had the Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon Butter Milk Smashed Potatoes and Sauteed Mustard Greens with Truffle Scented Mac & Cheese ($4) on the side. Personally I believe that I've had better. The salmon was not over cooked, the skin was maybe a little bit too crispy. I think it is pretty good for the price. The mashed potatoes and the sauteed greens went well with the dish. The sauce on the plate also went well with the salmon. As for the Truffle Scented Mac & Cheese, I was disappointed. The pasta could have been a little softer. I would give the Truffle Scented Mac & Cheese 3 stars and Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon Butter Milk Smashed Potatoes 4 stars. I am comparing this to my Camaje and SMAC experience. For dessert we had 3 orders of gelato and an order of warm molted lava cake with vanilla gelato. I had the warm molted lava cake with vanilla gelato. It was pretty good, but I have had better dessert than this. I mean this is better than probably dessert from TGIF or Apple Bees. The cake was really moist. All of us were satisfied with our meal. This place is definitely has a great atmosphere. It is a little fancy and romantic. It's great for dates or special celebrations. I went for lunch and the bright light was shinning in through the window (does not have a nice window view) It seems like the restaurant is a candle light dinner or dim light type later in the evening. The restaurant is inside a hotel. So I would not dress too bum-like, lol... One thing that disturbed me was an unfamiliar object had dropped into my friend's glass of water as the waitress was filling it. But she kindly replaced it for us. They had really good service. I would definitely go again to try some of their other stuff.

Leading up to graduation this year, sadly, my mother passed away - we had a room reserved for her which we, obviously, sought to cancel. Apparently, Hilton, and specifically this trash-bag of a property, feel that my mother should have died sooner to avoid having to pay a cancelation fee. My apologies that my mother DIED at an inconvenient time for you - so much so that I am now out over 600 dollars to cancel a room which you were able to turn around an IMMEDIATELY sell again. Hilton hotels will never see another dollar of my money - and this hotel in particular, and it's clown of a general manager, can both go pound sand. I TRULY hope that you end up being taken advantage of due to the death of someone close to you so that you will understand what an absolute piece of garbage you were in this situation. Screw this property, and Hilton in general - this is not the last that this will be heard of.

We were only staying one night, we were out in a first floor room right by the parking lot and the street. It was surprisingly quieter overnight than we thought it would be. As we unpacked, we noticed the electrical outlets by the bed were loose so anything we plugged into them would not charge. There was a usb port on the desk area that also did not work. We stopped at the "gym" and the one and only treadmill was out of order. No wonder the maintenance man quit. While these things weren't make or break our stay, they were kinda frustrating. The next morning we went to their breakfast area and were not impressed with the spread. Very little in the way of selection and once again, the equipment (waffle maker) was out of order. We checked out and again the staff was so friendly. Even for the price, I doubt we would stay here again.

The layout of a small "village" like grouping was pleasant generally well planted and the staff very friendly. The issues: a little run down for a Marriott and some of the room cleaning needed more attention (fridge doors, bathroom floor) The lobby looked pretty good but the furniture is well worn. Our first floor room had a sliding door but the screen was sketchy and the door very hard to slide. Some of the outer siding was in poor shape. The fridge doors were hinged incorrectly to where it was placed in the kitchen making opening awkward. Breakfast was the usual kinda bleh thing but not worse than other such places. Basically at $160 plus you are paying for a kitchen but not upkeep. I would call this a clean 2 hotel that could be a 3 with some attention. I would use it but not seek it out necessarily if I had choices in the price range but it was quiet.
