    Mold/ mildew in shower

Rooms were not clean...lot of body hair, mildew in showers, etc. Tried contacting the hotel directly to address but no response. Also, no one in the lobby when we arrived ...had to wait about five minutes before someone came to the desk. I'm a big Marriott property fan and Gold member -- this place needs some attention.

Convenient location off I-95. Clean updated rooms with modern decor. Staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast for guests from 6am to 9 am. Would definitely stay again while driving through!

The masters are a wonderful help for guidance alone; they also bring a necessary amount of information. The amount of diversions in here is impressive. I learned I'm very good at cornhole, exceptional at throwing hatchet and can't shoot pool to save my life. But nobody beats me at ping pong!!!! FROM A PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVE: So basically, this was a team building exercise by corporate to fuse together a diverse crowd from different counties. The facility itself is a great idea for group events. For us, bringing a variety of personal from assorted assignments together in a relaxed atmosphere for mind mapping purposes did yield a few useful ideas. Mostly it educated. We found that we still hung on to traditional gaming match-ups such as: Tim and Lisa vs. Stephanie and Greg. We quickly learned that Greg is useless at cornhole but excels at axe throwing. Lisa was the opposite. It's all Learning. Steven can't drink enough to keep up with Diana; Tim can shoot stick, Stephanie is the best dancer of anyone in the building. These morsels are telling and provide valuable data. We persevered by focusing our strengths on various problems in the equation. Now, the Ideation storm did lead the way to an avalanche of potential plans and schemes. It also worked to solve existing production issues. Thank you very much to the kind men and women of UC for your assistance and guidance. After our evals are submitted, I see you getting a lot more business. Cheers!

And I wasn't wrong! The tour lasted about 90 minutes (and it leaves promptly FYI) and takes you along the shoreline of Amelia Island - past the shrimping boats and past a Civil War era fort - before heading towards Cumberland Island National Seashore. This is where the true fun of the tour was for me. I had no idea really the history of the island and found it fascinating how the Carnegies and Rockefellers and more of the country's elite used this random Georgia seashore as their private escape. The history of both Cumberland and Amelia Islands is incredibly fascinating and the guides for both the Florida and Georgia sides respectively were well informed and personable. Plus - you'll very likely see a ton of great wildlife throughout including dolphins and wild horses and pigs. It's a great way to spend an afternoon in the area and a fabulous introduction to Cumberland Island National Seashore/Park.

First, this place seems to have various names, and I was confused trying to find them online…read more Georgia Coastal Railway in Google leads to a website called thegeorgiatrain.com, and the header there says "Kingsland Station". Below that are three logos, one for Florida-Georgia Railway Heritage Museum, one for Georgia Coastal Railway, and one for Kingsland Station Players (theater), all of which operate from the same building, and same website. As for their physical location, it's right downtown in the middle of old Kingsland, very close to one of the best restaurants in GA (imho), Wandaful Things. We did the Cottontail Express on the train, and it was a pretty fun time! The staff were all great with kids, and everything was organized and streamlined from start to finish. I had initially booked a later time, but wanted to try to make another event in Brunswick, so I asked to change, and they were so kind and accommodating! They switched me quickly and hassle-free in one email! That was awesome! Parking in the lot was ample and easy. A short walk inside and they take your name for your reservation at the ticket window inside the station. There were seats for waiting in the theater, or you could walk around the station looking at the didactics from the railway museum info. Costumed actors were walking around for photos, dressed as the Easter Bunny, a mouse, Mother Nature, and some others. The local model RR club was in the model train room constructing a scale replica of local towns and stations. They were very welcoming and kind. So there was plenty to do while you wait. The train loaded with open seating. Cars had open-air benches facing out to the left or right, so you rode sideways and with a turn of the head could see any direction. There was one actor who was emcee, announcing the songs and treats on the schedule. She was pretty good at giving us an idea of what would be happening; it would've been better if we got a handout program, but it was helpful enough. Each costumed character came around to visit with every child. There was fun kid-friendly Easter-themed music, and decor on the train and at the station. On the train, the actors did some dancing with everybody, passed around stickers/candy, and did balloon animals. We boarded at 10am, and were back to the station by 11:02am. Once we got off the train there were plastic Easter eggs in a lawn area next to the station. It was neat, but definitely very obvious for older kids who didn't have to hunt at all. But I get it that it needs to appeal to all younger ages, and there wasn't really safe terrain to try to hide things in more difficult spots. They do ask for tips getting off the train, so bring cash to tip your crew! I can see how the Kingsland Station Players theater is associated with the train, because there were definitely skilled actors in costume on the train. With the name Georgia Coastal Railway, I thought the train would travel along or to the coast. The tracks do go to St Marys, GA, but the ride we had didn't leave the outskirts of Kingsland's strip malls on route 40. It was fun, nonetheless, to ride the strip, between lanes of cars, and whiz past Malson's BBQ up high on the train. All in all it was a very fun time for kids. We would return again for another kid-themed experience! They have various adult theme rides as well, and can be rented for parties and events.
