Nice shopping plaza with good selection of stores to shop and plenty of restaurants. It's located on the hill in Allen Park. This strip mall has got everything you need in one location. Each of the store has its own entrance. Quick stop for all basic needs. The area is secure as they have cameras everywhere and security patrols the lots frequently. Plenty of parking space. Traffic is heavy most of the time. read more

How can you not love an outdoor strip mall that has the following stores: Target, Meijer, Lowe's, TJ Maxx, Payless, Taco Bell, Panera, Ulta, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, Olga's, Best Buy and so much more!? The only thing this complex is missing is a theatre. Although they're constantly developing, so it could be a possibility, right?! It even has a walking trail that circles the whole area and a few ponds that host some cute wildlife. I love this place. read more

Fairlane Green was not in our original plan. But since we arrived Detroit area ahead of schedule and was too early for lunch (9:30 am lunch?, that's when we started our day at 6:00 am) , we ended up coming here to kill some time. Fairlane Green is clean and have ample parking. A lot of the usual big box stores: Best Buy, Targets, Bed and Beyonds... Great for everyday shopping but as a visitor, it just feel like another shopping area. I still not used to the outdoor mall with the parking lot in the middle concept. I guess I have to walk one area then hop into the car and drive across the street or should I just walk across the street? Great if you know exactly which stores you are going to visit and not good if just for browsing around. read more

This is a great shopping center. It really does have just about every type of store and then some. My only gripe is that it is way too massive of a shopping center to not have some type of directional signs! At the main entrance area (just off of outer drive/sthfld service dr) there are general signs. However, once you drive into the general lot (especially on the side where target, meijer, best buy is) you're on your own trying to locate a particular store. The major stores are pretty prominent, but the smaller stores literally get lost. Actually I get lost trying to find them -( not literally, but it would be helpful to have some type of direction/idea where a store may be before I go driving around that big ass lot). Also this is not the shopping center to park and conveniently walk store-to-store. It's just too big. A few of the smaller scale stores are clustered together, but for the most part the stores/restaurants are what i would consider driving distance from each other. Sill, this is my spot! I don't mind the driving to each store because it's all of my favorite/most-frequented stores thrown into one spot! read more

Since moving to Michigan, I understand that most of this state is covered in strip malls. Normally, there is a public disdain against these ugly presentations of consumerism. But this one is perfect. It actually has everything I could possibly need in one easy location! I live in Detroit and going up 75 to get groceries, go to Target, and Panera is a day trip in itself. Until I discovered this place, right off of 94. I present to you: strip mall heaven. It has the following but not limited to: Target Meijer Home Depot Best Buy Panera Old Navy World Market (this is actually what won me over) Barnes and Nobles TJ Maxx Michael's Bed Bath and Beyond Olga's Kitchen And to make you feel better about consumerism, it was built on a landfill and the developers use a "green" plan to conserve energy/water. read more

One stop shopping. I'm "on the hill", as it's affectionately called, at least once a day. Seriously! Target -- need I go on?? Meijer, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bath & Body Works, just to name a few! Also, one of my favorite spots, On the Border and Longhorn, among others. Now, there is a new LA Fitness and I really wish a movie theater would be built there. There's still a lot of land over there. No matter what, it's always exciting to see what new business is opening in the area. Because this is such a thriving shopping area, the traffic can be crazy. That's my only gripe. The stop signs/4-way stops are the most awkward ever. You have so many people who don't know how to deal with the 4 way stops and you can read the questions on the other drivers' faces, "do I go now?", "do you go?", it's just too much confusion and can cause a traffic backup, etc, etc blah. But once you get through all that, wow, what a shopping playground! read more

Yesterday was a snow storm that dropped approx. 8" of snow. The snowfall stopped before midnight, yet the parking lots haven't been cleared completely. Parking spots are unavailable and you have to trample through inches of snow 18 hours later. Iced over piles of snow sludge in the middle of walkways. Lawsuits waiting to happen. read more

Fairlane Green is very convenient for my shopping needs. The stores that are here do fit the area but, I would love if they could bring in some higher end stores. The store selection is very typical of other close by strip malls. I would really like them to offer alternatives then the typical places you can find within a ten mile radius. Try to event a different type of cliental. One store I think that would be a great match would be a Trader Joe's. There is not a store that offers specialty items such as this market. The place is really nice to walk and take in some scenery. There is also a bike path that is a little small but nice to ride if you live close. This place would be perfect if they would just incorporate some new and exciting places that have not been built around the area. Remember as a consumer we love choices. read more

Great shopping center since I usually can't stand shopping this is pretty amazing. This outdoor strip mall that has the following stores: Target, Meijer, Taco Bell, Chili's, Deb, Panera, Ulta, Rue 21, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, Famous Hamburger, Olga's, Best Buy, Panera, Starbucks, HOME DEPOT!! Several of which I happily hit over and over again, even though I hate shopping. Meijer is a pretty regular stop for me. Meijer ~ my sisters favorite store if only to try to relive her college days with no where else to go during a weekday at 2am. So we reminisced and got into trouble with the Meijer Gestapo. My 30 something sister and 14 year old son were having a friendly game of catch in an aisle when we were told someone could get hurt that way. We immediately gave up the game and they proceeded to shop with me with mild pouts on their face. On to the store! GREAT Meijer, even the Gestapo wore a smile, register lady was incredibly friendly. Bright well lit parking lot for the 2am shopping spree's, plenty of carts and baskets all clean and in very good shape. Even the pharmacist was offering assistance. All very friendly, clean and the shelves were loaded with product, didn't see empty shelves or hooks. Oh the choices. They have everything you could need all in one store! Everything shined, even the produce. So as long as you aren't looking for a game of catch, this is the place to get it. Meijer Taylor has been a pit for years so I have avoided all Meijers, this Meijer redeemed the chain ~ Bravo! read more

I like Fairlane Green because they have everything in one spot. Grocery store, hardware, restaurants, shoes to accessories. There is even a fitness center and the oh so dreaded (but needed) Best Buy. Parking is ample, the lot has always been clean and it's centrally located near I94 and M39. The management company has done a good job of mixing retailers for a one stop experience. read more

Fairlane Green is one of my favorite places outside of the city of Detroit for shopping. I can get everything done at one place. Some of my personnel favorites are Meijer, Target, Old Navy, Ulta, TJ Maxx, Barnes and Noble and the new comer Gap. I can buy my groceries, clothes, make-up and get my hair cut in the same shopping center. The parking lots are even set-up nice with all the four way stops. They are pretty easy to navigate. Limited access to and from the stores. Sure it's nice to have a Meijer or Ulta by me, but as I sit here yet again in standstill traffic because someone is blocking 1 of 2 ramps to get in and out I'm rethinking where I should go for my shopping. If it's not an accident, it's a broken down car, someone sleeping through the green light, or a medical emergency, which is what happened today. And you know what? The paramedics couldn't get through until the 50 cars stuck in the mini 2 lane off ramp reversed their cars and went to the other side. It took me 1 hour to get out. Could these people not afford 3 or 4 lanes to make way for us to get in and out? I don't understand why the access is so limited for a group of businesses that sees thousands of people a day. read more

My initial thought was to simply review the TJ Maxx located in the Fairlane Green shopping complex. However, a glowing review is warranted for the entire plaza. I've never been a fan of TJ Maxx because unorganized bedlam aggravates my self-diagnosed OCD. Fairlane Green's location has made a convert out of me. From the wonderfully organized women's section to the jaw-dropping home goods offerings, I felt like a new woman as I left the store. As if this experience were not enough, there were expansive Target, Old Navy and Barnes & Noble stores as well. I certainly have not even scratched the surface of this shopping jewel and intend to return again and again until I've conquered every store this plaza has to offer. A tough job indeed, but this shopper is up for the challenge! read more

I love the fact that pretty much any store I could ever want to patronize is up on "The Hill" what I don't love is that there is not enough entrances/exits and it gets very congested around lunch time and pretty much anytime during the weekend...I also don't like that after a certain hour Meijer is filled with riff raff.....Best time to go to "The Hill" is first thing in the morning... read more

It's decent. I hate strip malls as much as I hate all the dumb little stores in them. But I suppose that's because I'm a guy. The good thing is home depo (and lowes on the bottom) also best buy. The only worthey stores. As someone who has recently worked on "the hill" (which was a garbage dump) I know that the theft level is high. The people from Detroit have a straight drive down 94 right to this place. But I'm used to it living where I do. What I'm not used to is people door dinging my what I think is nice car, when I park as far back in the most random spot possible. I hate shopping and this place just makes it that much worse. 2 stars for you. read more

Oh Fairlane Green . . . If I had to pick a favorite concentration of national chains, this would be it. The Barnes & Noble is great and clean and stays open later than the Borders on Ford Rd. A World Market! Possibly my favorite store EVER. A Lane Bryant, Payless, Bath & Body Works and a Bed Bath & Beyond also make appearances. I haven't ventured over onto the other side of the road too much except to go to Meijer's once, but I'm sure that side is equally awesome. I'd give it five stars if it was a strip mall filled with awesome independent businesses. read more

I am a big fan of this strip mall shopping mecca! I have not had close access to many of these stores living in Dearborn, especially Meijers (Michigan company). I do not believe there is a ton of theft there as the previous review specifies. It is as safe as any suburban strip mall. read more

This is not a typical strip mall. The landscaping is beautiful and there is a nice bike path. While the storefronts are rather crowded, around the back it's quite serene, artificial ponds, lots of birds and other wildlife. The occasional whiff of sewage is unpleasant, but it's the closest thing to a nature trail in this neighborhood. Worth a look! read more

Nice. Lots of variety in shops, having most of the popular stores and restaurants. Merchants are helpful and friendly. People in general were very polite and nice. What a great and refreshing shopping experience. This is definitely my favorite shopping center! read more

Fairlane Green is a great place to shop and I go there at least once a week. My only problem with it is the entrances and exits. It takes forever to get in and out unless you go early in the morning. And forget November and December. It will take you at least ONE hour-seriously-just to get out. I am not sure why they didn't make a right turning lane onto Oakwood BLVD (exiting) or why the left turning lane (entering) is not long enough. It has been like that since they built it and I'm not sure why they never did anything to fix it. read more

This place is great but YES it needs a KHOL's for sure. If Khols was there, I would never need to leave the Green when Christmas Shopping. And I agree with another poster that Christmas Tree Shop, Home Goods and Hobby Lobby would be right at home there. Now THAT would be heaven. It would also be great to see Farrells make a comeback on the hill. They have them in California now, I went and it was great fun! read more
