We had just finished looking around next door and popped in to this shop to browse. It wasn't too busy so we took our time looking around. I think it's dog-friendly as we saw someone with their cute pup inside shopping. The space was open and not too cluttered, which I always appreciate since I can get kind of overwhelmed in vintage/antique shops. Each area was nicely curated and it was easy to tell where each "booth" started and ended. I saw a variety of housewares, clothing, decor, etc. and had fun looking around finding some treasures. We didn't end up buying anything this time, but would definitely stop in again next time we're in the area. read more

Sometimes vintage and antique stores can be hit or miss. That's part of the fun, isn't it, you never really know what you're going to get? That being said, I feel confident that Vintage Eastern Market really likely has something for everyone! Great selection of quality items and collectibles. From kitchenware to clothing to art to sports memorabilia to decor to jewelry etc etc etc. Much more a collection of treasures than a "one man's trash is another's treasure" kind of hunt. I left with a pair of clean and pristine mini red Dutch ovens. Cute for single/double serve desserts, sides, sauces, etc and matches my kitchen vibe. Great location around Eastern Market and nearby eateries. Worth adding into a broader Eastern Market itinerary or as a standalone destination! read more

Look maybe i'm prissy but when i go to a vintage store that's expensive, i expect things that are going to be vintage. Not something I could find at the salvation army for $5. It is definitely my fault for being so trusting and not looking at the tag of the sweater HOWEVER, I find two adorable sweaters. One, i thought was cute and the worker said something along the lines of "oh we just got that in, i believe it's (insert type of fabric here" trying to upsell the quality. thankfully my coworker looked at the tag and it was literally all polyester. anyways, what REALLY GETS ME is the other cute sweater I bought for $32, which definitely isn't bad. until i get home and see that it's from SHEIN. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? "Vintage" my ass. don't get me wrong the people were nice (which isn't impressive bc when ur selling something you should be), but be warned to check tags because you're probably not buying vintage when you go there. read more

The store had several rooms of old treasures. There were fun hats and jewelry. There was also an assortment of jewelry and hats. The T-shirts and jackets reminded me of 70s and 80s tv shows. It was fun to browse. read more

Neat place with random unique stuff from all over. You really never know what you could find here and you could spend hours looking around and thinking about the items. The market is surprisingly large and you don't expect it from the outside. I'm not sure how often they get stuff in but every time I've been there has been a lot of new things. My only real complaint is the prices. Much of the stuff seems quite a bit higher than it should be. I understand they need to make a living but finding a real deal is a challenge. There's a good chance you'd find items you want but then see the price and change your mind. Maybe I'm just really cheap though... Either way the place is fun to walk around and see neat trinkets and doodads if you've got some free time and are in the area. Especially fun with friends as everybody notices different things and points them out. read more

Absolutely love this place. Several booths, several vendors, a WHOLE LOT of stuff to peruse through. Any time you have some time please stop by and I guarantee you will be blown away. So many items elicit memories. If you like thrifting this is absolutely your place. There's plenty to choose from with great staff, not overbearing or insisting, just informative. But be forwarned, you can easily lose the contents in your wallet . Lol. From purchasing such things as Picassos, to 1960 clothing, art deco, and even taxidermy items. read more

What a great find. Stopped in for the first time while waiting for a Yelp event to take place next door. Lots of quality finds. Clothing, albums, jewelry, barware, glassware and much more. We thought the prices were very reasonable and saw a few items we may have to go back for. Staff were helpful and pleasant. A very out of the way location but now that you know it is here...go. Had never been before so was really excited to find a cool looking place that had vintage buys. Found a really nice sweater that was 75%. It was $28. I'll take it! Well, after searching through the store, at some point the tag must have fallen off because when I went to pay it was not attached. I told the cashier that it was $28 and the guy said he would love to honor that price but without the tag there's no way of knowing. Fair enough. He looked in the system at it was marked at $35. I said nah I'll pass. It may not be a lot but that price difference matters to me. I was with a friend, and she decided she'd look around for the tag because the sweater was going to be a gift for my dad. She ended up finding the tag and I showed the guy it was just like I said--$28. I guess this must have pissed him off because for some reason he YELLED 'Wow you saved yourself a whole $1.14!' attempting to embarrass me? So I said well a $1 goes a long way. And he responded 'well now you can go and get yourself a double cheeseburger'. Again loudly for everyone to hear. It was completely unnecessary and rude. I don't understand why he felt the need to make me feel bad. He totally took it personal and felt he had to punish me for not wanting to pay more than what the sweater was. I'm glad I got the sweater but I won't ever go back. I'll take my $1 and enjoy the double cheeseburger. Thanks asshole. read more

One of the best spots to hit in Eastern Market on Saturday (or any day)! Just behind the sheds and newly opened parking structure. Amazing finds!!! Scored some wild (and very inexpensive) crystals and minerals and a couple agate slices from one vendor, a pair of cowboy boots (in my size omg!) from another, and an original Alien Movie Facehugger figurine still in the box. You could spend hours and hours looking through everything, it's a fun way to spend the day. I want to go back and get some 70s printed glassware for my bar. There's a pop up alley in back with rotating vendors every Saturday too so there's always fresh stuff to see. I think it goes all summer. read more

This is a fun stop to make after visiting the Eastern Market , or as a destination. There are many different dealers , which means a big variety of merchandise. The prices are decent too. Awesome place with a friendly knowledgeable owner. It's not Salvation Thrift Store price but you don't have to dig through piles of garbage to find something cool. I collect a certain kind of wall art and it is exceptionally hard to find in the wild... but I found one here! When I went to purchase it I was told that it was part of a set but the other part had fallen behind a display. With no small amount of help from Margaret at the front desk, we were able to extract it and I was one happy camper. This will be beautiful on my walls at home! read more
