So today I went here because the Stanton location didn't have what I wanted. I called and was told to ask for Jennifer. I spoke with Jennifer about what I was looking for tire wise for my Tesla M3. Well she and I had a good talk and she gave some good advice and pointers regarding tires. Bc she was so knowledgeable I drove from Stanton to LA and it wasn't busy at all. Secret: it only took less than 30 minutes to change out all 4 of my tires to new ones. Jennifer and her team were so awesome I promise to bring back my wife and sis n law they both have Tesla's. Jennifer even told me they offer what the competition offers free tire flat fix, free air, free rotation, etc. I can't beat it! Thank you Jennifer! I normally don't post anything but this time I need to say something bc this location on 61st street is a scam. I bought all four tires and asked to have the alignment done just so they can tell me they couldn't do the alignment after all because of struts, camber and so on. The repairs were going to come out about $2400. The young dude working at the front desk kept mumbling trying to explain everything I needed. He couldn't look at me in the eye. I went to elsewhere for a second opinion and all I needed was a small fix on the left side of the car totaling $200 with the alignment included. Be really careful if you are still considering going here. Some ppl are straight out evil trying to fool you just to get a dollar out of you. Not cool. read more

I came here for a free alignment check after purchasing 4 new tires from the Slauson location. The tire change was a really great experience, but unfortunately I can't say the same for the alignment experience. After getting the free check, I was shown paperwork, and told that my tires were slightly out of the acceptable range. I was told that my back tire (which was showing that the toe was out of range) could not be aligned because of the type of frame my car has, but was told that they could align my front tires for $90 (a $20 discount because I purchased 4 tires from the other store). I agreed to the service, but when they brought back the paperwork to show that they had fixed my front tires, one of the readings was still showing the left front tire to be slightly out of range (by 0.01), and I was told that there was something wrong with the machine, which is why it was showing that in my paperwork. I asked for them to reprint the paperwork for me, so it could reflect what they were telling me verbally, but rather than do that, they mounted my car on another machine, and gave me a whole new reading. This time, all of my tires were found to be within range (including the back right tire, which they told me originally they couldn't align). I asked why this was the case, and was told by the first employee that the first machine "wasn't working properly," and that it hadn't given an accurate reading. I then asked why I had been advised to do an alignment based on a machine's reading that "wasn't working properly". At this point, a female employee stepped in. I'm not sure if she is the owner, or manager, but she started trying to explain, without making any logical sense. I was gaslit by saying that they hadn't said that the first machine wasn't working, even though both of them told me that. They also told me that the reason why they put my car on the first machine instead of the one that was working properly was because that machine was in use when I first arrived. I told them that I never said that I was in a hurry, and I would have been fine to wait for the machine that was working properly to get my car checked right the first time around without having to ask for it to be checked again when the paperwork wasn't matching what they were telling me verbally. I felt like they were assuming my ignorance about tire alignment (I am a semi-young female), but I explained to them that in reading the paperwork, I fully understood the range that my tires were supposed to fall into, and if my right rear tire was now reading within range (without them being able to align anything on my rear tires), then I felt it was dishonest of them to suggest for me to get an alignment based on a machine that could not be trusted to give an accurate reading. I also did not like the fact that when she gave me the paperwork with the job description, it said that my right rear tire was not within acceptable range, and that I "the customer" had been advised. I asked for that to be changed, because the new reading showed that the rear tire was in fact within range. The woman kept telling me that I wasn't understanding her, and didn't want to change the paperwork to accurately reflect the readings, so I asked to speak with someone else. She left and came back with the technician who worked on my car, and said that she would give me a full refund. I said that it was less about the refund (which I didn't end up receiving), and more about making sure that the paperwork I left with accurately reflected the readings on my car, and whatever service they claimed to provide me with. The technician fully understood what I was saying (thank God), and confirmed that the first machine had not given a reliable reading. He said that the second machine had given a good reading, and that there was nothing wrong with my tires. (I still don't know why I paid for an alignment). They also changed the paperwork to reflect what they were saying verbally, and what the new paperwork said (which was that all my tires were within range), and the woman continued to apologize saying that this was not how they typically do business. Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. I was there for over 2 hours, and still have no idea what they did to my car (if anything), as it is not driving any differently from before I took it in. But I was still charged the $90 for my "free" alignment check. I would never use them again, which is unfortunate, considering I really did have a good experience with the tire change. Honesty and integrity go a long way when running a business. I never write reviews, but thought it was important for anyone reading this (especially those who may not know much about tire alignment), to understand that you should always read your paperwork and make sure that what they are telling you matches up with what you are leaving with. read more

This is the 2nd location for Fairmount tire that just opened. I went to the main location on Slauson and they said it would be faster to go to their original store which is now accepting customers. When I arrived, they took my car in 10 minutes and honored the price Jerry gave me over the phone. The waiting room is beautiful with drinks, snacks and air conditioning while you wait. The staff was quick, fast and helpful. The price, as always, was super reasonable and I received four new tires for $400. read more
