Oh no nail in my tire on a Sunday afternoon

This place honestly save my weekend on Sunday I had a nail in my tire given the fact that all tire shops are normally closed on Sunday this place came to save the day open until 10 I believe fast friendly great customer service is able to carry on with my Sunday thanks to this location $20 to fix my tire that had a huge nail in it so very thankful thank you so much for being open on a Sunday so late.

To my good fortune, Tony, at Amaya Tires, solved a serious TPMS issue I was experiencing at the worst possible time. Amaya Tires saved me a 50-mile tow to the dealer as my tires are of the "Run-Flat variety and no spare is provided by the manufacturer, who shall remain nameless (cough - Infiniti). Additionally, someone contaminated the tire/wheel with Mickey Mouse juice. It's all sorted now! Amaya Tires is one of the few, repair centers properly equipped/staffed to service today's foreign and late model vehicles. And thanks again Tony. read more

Horrible service.. the guys here have horrible customer service. Very rude and online it says they take card and accept tap for pay but they don't. Which was a total inconvenience for me. The guy kept telling me to "Zelle the number". I have a credit union account that isn't linked to Zelle so I was left with no choice but to leave on a flat tire. Also the manager acts as if he doesn't speak English in person but answered the phone prior to me coming speaking perfectly fine English. read more

Had a flat tire in the middle of the freeway, they were so responsive and quick. Our insurance wasn't helpful at all and left us to find someone to replace our tire. It was 10pm at night and we have a large Sprinter camper van. Amaya Tires answered the phone right away and had someone out to us in 30mins. Manuel was great and so fast! read more

I had a set of ATV tires that I needed to be swapped out .. so before I even came to this tire shop I had gone to 3 other ones in the area and all of them tried and they weren't able to mount them on.. all 3 had different excuses why they coouldnt mount them. When I arrived to amayas one guy with colored eyes approach me right away and asked what I needed, I told him the situation and he said to bring them down that they will do them. 30 min later I was out the door with the new set of tires mounted. Tire shop was more expensive than the other shops but they got the job done and didn't have to wait long. I WOULD recommend this place to others that value their time more than anything. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! I was sent over by the owner of Fairmount tire and the literally scratched all 4 of my newly painted rims. Their solution was to go by spray paint to fix the rims which was an insult. Fairmount is offering me 160$ for a job that cost me 400$. I am livid about this and will not rest until I am taken care of!!!! read more

I was no more than 10 mins away from their location but was still charged their $40 service fee. The part, and order form was in the shelf the entire time. Then the first guy rambles on, well that's a different story...you if it was coming from somewhere else now........ I paid and left. My advice to the manager if they have one, have your employees get a little more organized and be a bit more courteous to customers. I'd go back again, if it wasn't for being cursed at for no reason or fault of mine.

I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. Our neighbors complimented the work. The crew did an excellent job and had great attention to detail. Robert was a great with communication and follow through. It's one of the best decisions I have made this year. Will was able to come out with a day or so and run a diagnostics check, quickly locating the issue and showing me the results. He explained to me what the issue was, discussed options, gave me a full quote and a price - highly competitive. With me agreeing to what needed to be done, he ordered the part (Saturday) and came back the next day (Sunday) to install it. Incredibly helpful and so polite, he showed me the new part, walked me through what he was going to do and afterward even showed me the part he removed and explained the wear and why it was actually perfect timing. Within hours I was up and running again, good as new. I have NEVER had service like this from a dealership in all my years of being a car owner and driver (and that's several decades). Will also flagged other things that I needed to be aware of (including needing an oil change - which I will be getting him to come and do) but at no point pushed for me to do them there and then - zero pressure, just guidance. He repeatedly asked if I had any questions and was keen for me to understand what was happening and why - superb! He even cleared up the work area after he'd finished. Flawless. Aside from the convenience and Will just being an incredibly nice guy, his attention to detail and service are second to none. Friendly and knowledgable, he works hard to make sure you understand what he's doing, and is professional and polite at every step along the way. This is a father-and-son-owned shop, and you can tell they take pride in doing things the right way. The photos I've posted show the old exhaust parts that were cut and removed, the replacement components, and the finished install underneath the vehicle. Everything was fitted cleanly and solidly--no shortcuts, no sloppy work. They replaced my muffler and repaired the damaged section from the theft in just a little over an hour, which honestly exceeded my expectations. The car sounds right, drives smoothly, and feels properly repaired--not patched together. What I appreciated most was their honesty and efficiency. They explained what needed to be done, got straight to work, and delivered exactly what they promised. In a time when catalytic converter theft is unfortunately common, it's a relief to find a shop you can trust. I have written a total of 3 reviews in my 21 years on this earth and this is one of them. I have no words. Jeff was absolutely amazing to me. He provided the exact service I needed in very competitive timing. While other places quoted me $300+ and 3ish hours for getting a Pre-Purchase Inspection. He did it in 45 minutes, $250, ran the diagnostic perfectly, found everything that needed to be fixed. The dealership rep tried to steer Jeff away from the problems and made excuses for everything but Jeff didn't buy it and told it to me exactly how it is. He didn't beat around the bush, and told me everything. I would 100% recommend Jeff to anyone and everyone in the area. He is a 100% honest man who cares about his clients, and he gets the job done perfectly and professionally. 100/10 service.

They looked over our car carefully, took a video of the test they performed and shared it with us. He also explained to us what the test meant. Overall it was a bust and repairing it wasn't worth it but I appreciated the honesty and thorough evaluation. The garage itself has access through the alley, street entrance is pretty busy. We communicated via text and phone but during drop off and pick up the main guy wasn't around. He shares the garage with someone else and that person helped us when the main guy wasn't there (sorry I can't remember his name). Overall a good experience despite the fact that my car is officially dead!

The work was completed efficiently, It's hard to find a shop that combines quality workmanship with great customer service, but they really delivered on both. We picked up a new Jeep Wrangler four days before Christmas and the team at World Famous met us on a Sunday (when they were closed) to drop it off, ordered the parts and had it ready for a special pickup on Christmas Eve when they were closed. I've had Jeeps since 1985 and Henrik and team KNOW what they are doing. No haggling, no up charges, no BS... straight talk, good recommendations and quality, on time work. I've made the mistake of going to the chain places like 4 Wheel Auto Parts and was always dissatisfied and felt ripped off. Never again. Got the bumper and winch on before Christmas and already setup to go back for the KC light bar and new tires and wheels! Don't waste your time. Feel good about calling Henrik. Tell him what you want and he will get you a straight answer on how long and how much.

I clocked out from a long workday to find I had a flat tire. I also didn't have a spare. The guy from Amaya Tires came to me, brought a new tire, and totally saved my night. I thought I was going to have to get a tow and the tow truck guy seemed shady and wanted to take me halfway across town. I'm really glad I went with Amaya Tires. read more
