This is a diamond in the rough. Viewing it like a food truck is a disservice. Clearly it is a labor of love for the owners and workers. I could tell I was in a treat when I saw the chef taking his time with each dish wearing a crisp, clean apron. Plus the 4.8 rating was a clue as well. The beef and chicken empanadas were great. The chicken medallion with rice, plantains, and rice was perfect. The only thing I was not a fan of was the beans which had a different taste than I am used to that I did not like too much. This is a treasure in Tampa. The food is great and the family that runs the restaurant is amazing (the Ventura family). Their chicken, rice and beans are the best I have had. You cannot go wrong. I also tried a chicken empanada that was superb. It is worth the trip to eat there. You cannot eat there in covered seating or take out but you will not be disappointed. This is my favorite place for cuban sandwiches hands down. It's a bit tricky to find their location. Its a directly behind a busy strip mall in Apollo Beach - behind Apollo meats. It is a stationary food truck. There are sit down tables w umbrellas. The family run eatery puts out fast good food. Call ahead because as it is family run they often take time off for family so their hours / opening days can vary. If you are planning on serving the sandwiches later you can order them to be cold and they will give you heating instructions. read more

Came with a side a mini salad inside the tray of food and some ketchu-Mayo sauce. My only complaint is I wish I had more of the sauce. Very nice local Latin food. The Cuban sandwich was hot, with wonderfully baked bread, tender slices of meat and just the right spices and condiments. The black beans were also very tasty. While this is a food truck parked at a permanent location it has a great vibe and very attractive seating area. We love it. You have to search for the location since it is in the back part of the parking lot. We almost drove away but we were happy we made one last look around to find it. If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault. Picked up the Faith Cuban and it did not disappoint. Insanely good bread, packed with meat, cheese and toppings. I added on a side of plantains and they were amazing. I'm so glad to have discovered them and will definitely be back to try other things. We went on Tuesday 6/27/23 around 1:30 p.m., my wonderful Juan's took me, because I had to try a Cuban sandwich, it was Delicious. They were so kind, and put my condiments on the side.
