This was a shocking surprise - this place was so delicious! And the door dash app had a super good deal of two chicken bowls for the price of one so incredible deal. The chicken bowl continues to be my go-to order. This isn't a place to hang and eat but a place to pick up and go. Food was ready quickly and again - fantastic!

Stopped by on a quiet weekend morning after learning they recently opened in Davis. We ordered their falafel wrap and platter. Everything was delicious! Portions were generous and plating was beautiful! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend this spot!

Falafel Corner is an affordable favorite in Davis! I recently ordered their chicken bowl which came with rice and white sauce. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. Everything had a great flavor and it was a pretty filling serving. The best part? It only cost $6.99. Falafel Corner is one of my go-tos for halal bowls/platters now that Halal Guys is no longer in Davis!

We each ordered platters and the food was beautifully presented. It was a feast for the eyes and there was enough food to bring home half for the next day. However, we were a bit disappointed that the food was so bland. The falafels were nice and crispy but everything on the plate could have used some more spice. The hummus was very thin and runny and had no flavor. The pita was nice and soft. There are a few tables inside the restaurant and two tables for two outside on the sidewalk. We had been to the Natomas location a few years back when they first opened and we were blown away by the flavors. We were disappointed in our meal at the Davis location.

Run, don't walk, to go try Falafel corner. The shop seems unassuming from the outside, a bit hidden between the surrounding businesses, but this new restaurant is an absolute gem among dining experiences in Davis. We were greeted warmly, and the man at the counter immediately started in friendly conversation with us, answering any questions about the menu, and giving us some background on the companies origins in Sacramento. He told us that their other location had gained a reputation for how good their falafel was, and he was not lying. The falafel wrap I ordered was genuinely one if the best I've ever had - the falafel was freshly made, warm, flavorful, full of sauces (tzatziki, hummus, and tahini) that I very genuinely was ready to lick off the paper. The pita was also warm and soft, and the entire wrap came together so nicely, if a bit messily, for a filling, tasty, might-need-a-fork kind of meal. My partner ordered the chicken platter and was similarly very impressed by how soft the pita was, and yummy the sauces were. He specifically complimented the spices and seasoning on the chicken, saying it made him want to find the recipe. Falafel corner has hands down become my number one spot for Mediterranean Food in Davis within one visit, which is not a common experience for me, but I am so glad we decided to try their food. I honestly think you would be doing yourself a disservice to pass on Falafel Corner, and you won't regret stopping in to try their menu out.

Generous portions at this quick service location. The staff were helpful and I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation of the meal. The dining area is very small, so I'd probably get takeout next time. I would also order a platter to share because these are huge!

Summary: Falafel Corner is an excellent addition to Davis' food scene. The food here is fresh, no gimmicks, and delicious. Surprisingly, one of the best burger spots in town, and the falafel is crispy, fresh, and is not going to leave you feeling too heavy. Taste/Flavor: I've tried the Badmash Burger, Cheese Burger, Chicken Sandwich, and Falafel Platter. The burgers have a wonderful classic taste to them. Raw white onion, lettuce, tomato, well cooked patty, and cheese. What you would imagine from a diner in a classic movie and tasting great. The food always comes out hot and fresh and you can see the cooks making it. The Chicken Sandwich has crispy pieces of chicken and the same additions as their burgers. I was really surprised at how great their burgers were and they don't leave you feeling too oily and heavy. The Falafel Platter was also really great. It came with a large fresh piece of pita bread, salad, hummus, and a generous portion of falafel. The falafel was really great because the contrast of crispy fried texture on the outside and really fluffy and light interior. Value: Great value for money. This place can be enjoyed by students and non-students alike. Two entrees and a side added up to be about $30.00 with tax and tip included (about $10.00 per standard burger). Seating: There are two tables for 4/5 and two tables for 2-3 inside. Outside has 2 tables that can seat 4/5. Atmosphere: the owners and employees are extremely warm and welcoming. They accommodate customizations to dishes as well. You'll instantly feel welcome when you arrive. Conclusion: If you like burgers, falafel, or gyros you owe it to yourself to at least try out Falafel Corner. I've left satisfied both times I've come here.

Dry fries. Wouldn't order again...Maybe I'd try the curly fries next time.

FOOD: Falafel wasn't dry and had a decent flavor. The wrap was large enough to share if the two aren't super hungry. Fries were overcooked, dry shoestring fries. They reminded me of those potato sticks in a can that are sometimes added to sandwiches (if you're old enough, you likely know what I'm talking about...I haven't seen this in a while). SERVICE: The cashier was kind, helpful, and patient (I was a little indecisive as this was my first visit). AMBIENCE: It's a small spot with a few seats inside and a few outside. More like a quick takeout spot vs. a sit down restaurant.

I was in Davis for the first time in a while since I graduated from UCD and decided to try Falafel Corner. It was amazing!!! I'm sad that there are currently no locations in the Bay Area! I will definitely come back the next time I visit Davis. We got the falafel platter and the badmash burger. BEST falafel I've ever had-- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside without being mushy or too oily. The badmash burger was one of the best burgers I've had as well. It was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the fried egg and bacon complemented the burger nicely. I loved the addition of thousand island and spicy sauce. The food here is amazing value! The falafel platter and burger were about $13 each and my boyfriend and I were really full and satisfied. It was an amazing meal for 2 for $30. They have many options for different preferences, and the falafel is delicious and a great vegetarian option. It's a very casual and small space with a few tables inside. The service was super friendly. They welcomed us in, asked us how the food was, and thanked us when we left. You order and pick up food at the counter. Water and utensils are self-serve. Overall a 10/10 meal and worth walking a long distance in the rain!! I'm excited to come back to try their other items.

Great for a quick lunch stop. The guy taking my order was really friendly. The cheeseburger and curly fries are standard. It's nice to have another place in town that sells burgers. (4/5) The gyro platter was beautifully served and a generous serving size. The gyro itself had great spice and flavor. The pita bread was served warm but a little rubbery. (3/5)

My husband and I frequent Falafel Corner in Sacramento so we were pleasantly surprised to see a location pop up in Davis! My go order is the gyro platter, they give such a generous amount of food, if you get the flatter you'll most likely need to get a too go box. The gyro was tender and each item of the platter complimented each other well. The restaurant is small but very clean so if you have a big group you might want to take your order to go. Staff is really very attentive, friendly and helpful! I'll definitely be back soon!

Stuffed with fries, gyro meat, hot honey, eggs, cheese, Tapatío, and bacon, it's complete gluttony in the best way. Honestly one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. The eggs are fluffy, the potatoes are both crisp and soft, and the fatty gyro meat and bacon add the perfect savory flavor to the burrito. The hot honey and Tapatío bring a sweet and spicy combo that makes it feel unique while still balanced. The inside was bustling even on a holiday weekend, but takeout was made easy with the kiosk setup. At only $11 and ready in under five minutes, it's hard to ask for much more.

This weekend was a nostalgic return to my go-to for breakfast burritos, and despite the inevitable price hike since my college days, the flavors were exactly as I remembered. The Legend: This isn't your average breakfast wrap; it's a heavy-hitter loaded with a unique mix of ingredients that shouldn't work as well as they do. The Build: Two scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and savory gyro meat. The Crunch: They pack it with french fries for that perfect starchy texture. The Kick & Sweet: What makes this special is the combo of honey and Tapatío, it gives you that sweet-and-spicy profile that keeps you coming back for every bite. The Experience: I was so excited to dive in that I actually started eating before I could even snap a photo for the review. It's the ultimate comfort food and the perfect way to fuel up while visiting town. The Verdict: If you're a UC Davis alum or just passing through, this burrito is a mandatory stop. My wife used the restroom while I waited near the entrance. Once we both walked in the manager (around 6'2", beard), from behind the counter told us very abruptly: "If you want to order anything it has to be to go, because we close in 10 minutes. If you want fries, order them now because they take 10 minutes to make." The way this was communicated was not professional or welcoming--it came across as rude and dismissive. There was no greeting, just a sharp directive. Despite this, we went ahead and placed a to‑go order for a tri‑tip sandwich and a Greek salad and paid. I completely understand that businesses have closing times and need to clean and wrap up for the night. That's reasonable. What's not reasonable is speaking to long‑time customers, or any customer, in such an unkind, abrupt manner. A little courtesy goes a long way. Because of this experience, we won't be returning. There are plenty of other local options in Davis that will take our money, while valueing and respecting their customers, regardless of when they walk through the door.
