Decided to give this place a try, because I got a coupon and am glad I did! Have been back twice since, as my usual go-to Greek restaurant is closed on weekends and we have enjoyed everything we've had so far. Today we ordered the family Gyro platter, as we had a full house and wow! We got a lot of food for the price! A BIG platter of shawarma, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes on top. Lots of pita, and tzatziki sauce too. We got a Greek salad and some falafel as well, but didn't need to, as there was plenty of food for the 6 of us. Excellent lunch! My travel companion saw the Falafel King sign and we decided to stop in for a quick bite. He had the daily special (gyro sandwich, it was Tuesday) and I had the lamb shawarma plate. My girlfriend got the falafel wrap and she never has good luck with falafel at other restaurants, a lot of places overcook their falafel. Falafel king DID NOT. Their falafel was perfect. This is one of my favorite Mediterranean places in the cities. I can't help but keep coming back. I've had most things on their menu but the kofta kabob combo and lamb shawarma plate are my favorites. Go for the combo plate if you want a full meal, which is what I get 90% of the time here. I ordered through Uber eats around 9pm and checked the box to ask for utensils and extra sauce and added into the note to please add utensils since I am at a hotel with the front desk closed, and also gave them a call to check up on the order. When I get my order, there are no utensils or sauce they just completely ignored it, and I had ordered a rice plate with salad. Spent over 30 the dollars on delivery from this place and the food was just awful the chicken was overcooked and dry and my salad was pretty much all lettuce three small pieces of tomato and maybe two little pieces of feta cheese. Ordered an extra pita bread for my salad, they gave me only one and it was stale..I had to pull of the hard as rock pieces to salvage what I could. I also got the burger which tasted off and was dry and made me feel sick. I would not recommend this food to my worst enemy. read more
