The photos came out just as I expected! The quality is professional and every picture she captured is amazing. I love her use of natural lighting. It's just so beautiful and the picture really takes you back to the moment. This feeling is perfect because I want to be able to look back when my baby is a teenager and remember this special time. We brought in our…read morenewborn at eight days old, and Beverly (we have dubbed her "the Baby Whisperer") was so gentle and patient with him. She knew exactly how to swaddle and pose him, while Steve was a true artisan with the camera. Steve captured the most expressive shots at all the right angles. Beverly and Steve were also very receptive to our requests! My husband is a rock climber, so we wanted to create a couple of newborn pictures that included his climbing gear. Beverly made it come together so beautifully! Steve and Beverly were also patient and kind about newborn messes (spraying during diaper changes, spit up after feeding, etc.). They've seen it all (they are parents themselves), and the mess doesn't faze them. In addition, they gave some great advice to ease my anxieties as a first-time mom. From the beginning, Victoria was highly responsive, answered all my questions and even set up a call to walk through shoot day so we were prepared. She has a detailed preparation guide on her website which was extremely helpful as a new parent. The photo shoot took place at her in-home studio and it was a very comfortable, relaxing environment with everything you need for a newborn photo shoot. She has an abundance of props and the cutest outfits and accessories to choose from for each photo. Unfortunately, my baby wasn't happy this day, but despite the chaos Victoria was so kind and understanding and she worked her magic (and patience) to capture some amazing photos of our little one in between all the fussiness. She really went out of her way and even extended the session time to allow us time to calm, feed and change our baby so we could get the best photos possible. She was also so meticulous and detailed - from the props to the lighting to the baby, she made sure each element was in just the right position and orientation for the best photos.
