Dr. Kate and our hygienists are amazing; however, the management of the building is terrible. My wife received a call from Falcon Dental at 9:15AM explaining that we were late to our son's appointment, but if we came asap (we live down the street) they would service our son. We thought our appointment was at 9:30AM, not 9:00AM - that was our mistake. We were late by 24 minutes by the time we checked in due to the line of people checking in. When it was our turn to check in, the manager of the clinic told us that they would "get to what they could." I asked what that meant, and she told me that because we were 24 minutes late, she didn't know what they could get to. I said, well if that's the case and you possibly can't get to his filling because we are 24 minutes late, then we will have to just find another doctor or reschedule. This upset her greatly and she acted confused about why I was upset. I told her that her staff had just called us and told us they could service our son, now I'm being told that she didn't know what they could do because we were so late. I said fine and left the building. After calming down from being frustrated I went back into the building to try and make thing right by rescheduling and explaining to the manager that I was frustrated. Once again, she pushed back and tried telling me that she was the only one "up front" and that no one told my wife that they could service our son. I told the manager that this couldn't be absolute truth as I had my wife on the phone at this point and my wife was saying she did indeed receive a call saying they could work on my son. So, the manager asked around and found out that someone did indeed call my wife and communicated with her. So, it was miscommunication at this point, so I thought. The person who called my wife came out front and never identified herself or her title as a tech, but I assumed so. Next, the tech tried to tell me that my wife was a liar, and that she never told my wife that. I mean, come on, why would my wife or I waste my time to go to the dentist if I thought they couldn't fully work on my son's teeth. Then, in a change of events, the tech says that they can get my son on laughing gas right then and there to do the work. So, hold on, what's with all the push back if they could have just done the work in the first place? So, this upset me again that they would call my wife a liar. I told them that I was flat out to upset and I couldn't deal with them now. I was needing some time to calm down and reschedule. On my way out the door the two ladies started laughing at me. I turned around and asked the manager and tech if they were laughing at me because I was upset and couldn't come down (I suffer from diagnosed combat PTSD and sometimes it's difficult for me to stop shaking and think clearly). The manager denied she was laughing at me, but the tech confirmed that she was indeed laughing at me. Granted she didn't know of my disability, but this is where compassion and customer service should come in. At this point I asked to talk to a manager (I didn't know the manager was a manager at this point), and this is when she said the classic words, "I am the manager." She didn't say or do anything except look at me aggressively after the statement. So, then I asked for anyone else to talk to and she brought out Dr. Kate. Dr. Kate calmed me down and I explained to her the situation. My family will be going back to Falcon Dental because the medical workers are amazing, but the management doesn't seem to care about customer service, patients, or potential business loss: Be aware.
