Close to numerous Colorado attractions including Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, The Royal Gorge, etc. laundry and restrooms clean. Lots of wildlife and places in the RV park to walk. Couple of issues -road noise M-F from 7:00-4:00 as large trucks haul gravel from the quarry to town. The 2 lane road runs on the whole side of the resort. AND, we reached out to the advertised Colorado RV services to get some work done on our RV. They came by 2 times to meet with us but never gave us an estimate or touched base to schedule the work. We followed up numerous times. Our initial conversation was 7 weeks prior to our scheduled departure. This left a very bad taste in our mouths. Very bad customer service and follow up. We traveled in a 36 foot, class A.

The golf cart rides quickly became a favorite, and our evenings were spent enjoying the simple moments we love most: ice cream from the Campfire Café, s'mores by the fire, and quality time together as a family. One of the things we appreciated most was how family-friendly this campground is. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained, but it also gave us the chance to slow down, relax, and enjoy the beautiful Colorado surroundings. A special shoutout to Pat at the pool! He was such a kind and welcoming presence and did an amazing job helping manage a busy pool full of families while keeping the atmosphere fun and enjoyable for everyone. I've posted pictures of all, the grill requires charcoal so be aware of that. We were on site 104 which is on the end and furthest away from any of the amenities and we enjoyed it immensely! It was pretty quiet back here. I like the size of the campsites - and they have greenery and such that gives you a little bit of privacy We paid about $100 a night so this is not budget friendly but it's nice! There is a ton for the kids to do- there is a huge pool facility, a mini waterpark with slides, and it was actually open before memorial day which was surprising. Limited hours, but it's heated and people were enjoying it. There are also kids activities held Friday through Sunday in the recreation room, but be aware they have a lot of toys for sale in there so that might be a challenge if you have a little ones, lol! There is even an off-road go kart track- I believe it was $10 for 15 minutes There is also a restaurant here that is open Friday for dinner through Sunday at 2 PM at the moment, maybe they are open more in the summer. We did have buffalo chicken quesadillas for lunch one day. They were out of all the other ingredients for any other type of quesadilla, lol. The man working the counter was very friendly and the quesadillas were tasty! We did use the laundry facility- they had four washers and four dryers, everything worked fine $2.75 each for wash and dry We did not use any of the public bathroom or shower facilities as we have a self-contained unit You are close to the highway so there is some road noise, bring your fan They do have a lot of different options for camping so if you don't have a camper, they have basic cabins, but they also have high-end tiny homes that look like they fit quite a few people, as well as covered tent sites - so there's a wide range of camping options here All the utilities on our site worked great Garden of the gods is about 20 minutes away, so make sure to block a few hours to go check out this beautiful place. There's also a cute little town called Manitou Springs near there. Highly recommend a walk about town and lunch.

Our picnic table was right next to our neighbor site's picnic table; you can share a meal with your stranger neighbor if you wish. The stall doors in the bathroom are comically short; they were cut to about knee height when sitting on the toilet so that your junk is at risk of exposure while you're sitting on the toilet. The campground is also RIGHT off the highway so you go to sleep to loud traffic noise and wake up to it, too. It also backs right up to a residential area, so you can look at the back of folks' houses and hear their dogs bark through night. There were roosters to wake you up in the morning, too (ngl I kinda liked that part). My husband and I are avid hikers and campers, so we've seen a lot of campgrounds. This is my least favorite, right after one of the KAOs in Virginia. During our stay, I playfully dubbed this place "the trailer park of campgrounds," and before you come after me, I grew up in a trailer park (so I would know!). If you need a convenient place to stay, it will do. It's a place to sleep. But if you're wanting privacy, space, and quiet (you know, the things people go tent camping for), then you'll want to go elsewhere.

Somone here was fostering our cat and our cat got out and is loose in the park and management has…read morebeen less than helpful as we tryed to come in the evening to look for her when our cat would be out and about And we even saw her and tryed to grab her but the manager and her friend were yelling at us from behind and we were very shaken and she bolted as we ran twords her then manager of the park her friend along with a few residents mobbed on us screaming for us to get off property because we didn't come get permission during the day at the office they made fun of me saying I should have taken better care of my cat and telling me to go back to my tent that becoming homless was our own fault. we aren't homless anymore but we were which is why we needed to have somone foster our cat its a really sore spot and we did our best the Managment and residents that ganged up on us were very cruel. the owners and managment are refusing to help and have ban us from the property telling us we have no legal claim to our cat and that she is now feral but were not giving up and we have pictures of her since she was a kitten and vet records to prove she's our cat and she's chipped. We filed a replevin against the owner of the park yong h lee because she and the manager brandy wade kept us from recovering our cat while we were 100% sure she was there. They would rather an innocent animal be left a stray to survive on her own and possibly die than let us come search in the evening for a weekwhen this first happened and have recovered her and been on our way. The replevin isnt going well we need proof she's still there. Its been 2 months and we are pretty she still there because lost cats are usually found within 50m of the spot they were lost. 500$ reward for her safe return she's a small slender medium hair gray tabby we love her and miss her very much. 50$ for photos of her still in the park if you cant catch her. Oh and she's not spayed so she's either about to have kittens or had just had them. We love her very much and just want to bring her home safe she's a part of our family we will not give up.

We made a reservation today and called to cancel several hours later because we found out the neighborhood is VERY UNSAFE. Their wording on cancellations on their websites does not say that they ABSOLUTELY DON'T GIVE REFUNDS BUT THEY SAID YOU HAVE TO READ THE FINE PRINT! I explained that we this is highly unusual and i asked for an exception. They rudely refused! DO NOT STAY HERE.
