No office no store etc. Nowhere to set up outside to sit or grill unless you like doing that in dirt. The WiFi was actually pretty good. Not really anything in this town. It's really good to get off road have full hookups and sleep for the night. About half or more seemed like full timers. A little confusing on how to get to site and since there is no office no one to ask. If going through area and need to stop for the night I would stay here again.

The facilities were so clean and well maintained. Since we had these spots all day, we had a hike in the morning for people attending the wedding as well as the actual wedding in the evening. Most of our guests explored the facilities and hiked most of the morning. I know many of them will return soon because it was great. The amphitheater had electrical connection on the center circle. We didn't need it because the acoustics of the amphitheater were amazing. We had a harpist and the music carried beautifully. Their voices were clearly heard throughout the amphitheater. Our rainy day plan was the pavillion, which is lovely and amazingly well planned. This is a gorgeous place for a wedding. I can't believe I didn't mention the staff. They were so communicative and helpful. They were such a joy.

We moved to the Springs from Denver a few months ago and we love how quiet this park is compared to other trails near Denver. This park is also very clean! As someone who doesn't like using public restrooms I thought these bathrooms were so clean. We enjoy that the park has plenty of parking, one of the parking lots even has a playground, and a pump for your bike tires. There's also picnic tables which we really enjoy using after our hike. We haven't camped here or mountain biked but that is an option too. Some hikes are easy enough for you to bring your kids, and others offer more of an incline. In the summer you see birds, butterflies, and lizards. This place is great, we really enjoy it!

Couple of issues -road noise M-F from 7:00-4:00 as large trucks haul gravel from the quarry to town. The 2 lane road runs on the whole side of the resort. AND, we reached out to the advertised Colorado RV services to get some work done on our RV. They came by 2 times to meet with us but never gave us an estimate or touched base to schedule the work. We followed up numerous times. Our initial conversation was 7 weeks prior to our scheduled departure. This left a very bad taste in our mouths. Very bad customer service and follow up. We traveled in a 36 foot, class A.

My name is Barbara Wood and I came with my daughter who grew up in this town, who I raised in this town to camp. To seek refuge from a very bad situation. But they refused us. We came to say we were coming to tent camp for a month, they said fine. But then when they misplaced their own paperwork, they claimed we didnt pay for the 1st 2 nights and we paid cash. So, theres that. They never gave us a receipt and, God forbid, I'd ask for one. I guess I ASSUMED they were good hearted and honest. THEYRE NOT. SOOOOOOO, The people who actually built this place aren't allowed to.p stay in it anymore. Talk about discrimination and prejudice to THE fullest!! What an extremely sad sad disappointing experience. However, overall, they're rude, biased and overcharge. Go somewhere else. It's a pit stop, not a recreational camp. No one here, I mean, no one, not even the other campers are friendly. It sucks!!! It is very strange there are no public bathrooms or shower on premises. You have to walk over to the rodeo to go to the bathroom. The whole website talks about the park 1/2 a mile away... that should have been a red flag. Rec room thing is a slab with a roof with 1 full wall and 2 1/2 walls unfinished overlooking a field. I guess it's more of a shade structure. Overall a step above staying in a Walmart parking lot.

This review is for Crag's trail and not the campgrounds. I was in the mood for a moderate hike that…read moreshowed off all the Aspen foliage as we put September behind us and this trail was everything I set out for it to be and more. Once you make that left from US-64 you have about a 3 mile drive up a dirt road and from there you will see the parking lot to the right. The trailhead is easily marked making it almost impossible to miss (#664). The parking lot is fairly small and heavily trafficked so I'd recommend arriving earlier the better. 5 miles down and back. The first mile is mainly switchbacks but smoothes out the remainder of the hike. The aspens showed off their vibrant yellow colors which made the hike that much more enjoyable. The weather can change drastically especially when you make it to the top. It was raining and pretty windy when i got up there so a jacket is highly recommended. As well as good hiking boots as you experience different types of terrain, particularly at the top where it's mainly rocks. There are bathrooms at the trailhead parking lot which is extremely convenient. Especially for my hour drive trek back home to Colorado Springs. Give this hike a go!

The path was just challenging enough for those of us who don't regularly hike. The views are pretty as we border the reservoir. The people we encountered during the hike all made way for each other and were so polite. It's refreshing. There are little walkways down to small patches of beach and rock outcroppings to sit on and enjoy the views. There is limited parking regulated by the park rangers so you know if there's space. And the gate for the road to the reservoir is closed at 6pm by the park rangers so be aware of the time. Recommend!

I'd recommend at least a small awd vehicle, but we did see a few cars and vans on Rampart Range Road. There were tons of places to park and picnic. The water and background had some great views.
