Anytime anyone sends flowers FTD always picks FALLBROOK flower shop. The place is disgusting. I have never gotten flowers that are not broken or wilted. They do not know how to arrange Flowers. They are in the ugliest vases. I just received five yellow roses with a wilted ultameria that's not in bloom eucalyptus leaves that are wilted and chewed! Horrible, horrible horrible! I am new to Fallbrook and park in her shop spot( finally I realized there is a flower shop here. I was going to another shop in the same building )and she came out asking me " are you going to park here long?" I said "no" she ask" this is a flower shop parking spot" then I moved. This florist has been around forever in Fallbrook...probably one of the last standing florist shops (meaning not Albertsons or Major Market). I see the reviews are a bit spotty and hit or miss. I fortunately have had good luck with them and been happy with the variety of floral arrangements I've ordered in the past. I think during the holidays namely Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, the florist can become a bit chaotic but they've been able to resolve any issues I've had with them fairly and reasonably especially if the issue was within their control. The shop is a bit outdated which matches the feel of rustic old timey feel of Fallbrook....maybe some updates in the future would make it more attractive to a younger clientele but either way regardless of the look of the store I have been satisfied with the flower orders they've done for me in the past. I would recommend them if you live in Fallbrook. Supporting local businesses....woo-hoo! read more

Order the flowers on the right. Received the order on the left. Called customer service, they were super defensive, told me that they ran out of flowers. They began to tell me that I could return them today and they would deliver the proper order tomorrow, with no discount because I order them from a third party website. First of all I'm sure the owner verified that third party website, so they should honor anything that is order through that website. Secondly, why didn't they call me last night letting me know that they ran out, like most business would have done? Either way, this was not what I ordered. I recently moved to another state and wanted to surprise my mom for mothers day by sending her a flower arrangement. I found this place and figured it would be the best option since it was located very close to her. Lesson learned because I didn't read any reviews. I found an arrangement that she would absolutely LOVE and placed my order 2 weeks in advance. 2 weeks. Plenty of time to ensure that they had the necessary supplies to make the arrangement. I received a text from my mom today (the day before mothers day when the flowers were scheduled to be delivered ON mothers day). The text included a picture of an arrangement of carnations. I thought for a second that my brother had sent an arrangement as well and somehow they were mixed up. So I call the flower shop and they tell me that they will need to call me back after looking up my order. I received a call about 4 hours later (close to 9pm) to inform me that they were able to look up my order and they were unable to create the arrangement I had ordered and paid for (attached photo of what they had on their website). They said that they no longer had the vase that I paid for or any of the flowers even though I had placed my order a least 2 weeks in advance. I was told that I had selected an option during checkout stating they could create a second arraignment (i did not as there was no option for this). I asked for a partial refund because carnations in a plain glass case is definitely not worth the $70 price tag and was denied because as stated before, I gave the "OK" to make a second arrangement (substitution policy photo attached). I even went through the checkout process again to see if it said anywhere about a second arrangement and didn't see any options for that. As a customer I am highly disappointed in this whole experience and would not recommend this florest to anyone. They take your money and put together whatever they feel like. Yet another bad experience with these people. My son and daughter-in-law ordered flowers for me for my birthday (they live in AZ). The order was filled by these folks, from whom I have gotten sub-standard service before. The arrangement they delivered was VERY poorly put together. It was a small arrangement but crowded with very poorly arranged flowers, many of which were little white roses that were already turning brown and losing petals. One day later, the roses had all died and so had some of the greenery. The arrangement was put in to a vase that was too small to hold it. Also, the holder was supposed to be red glass, but was merely lined with red plastic. A disaster from every aspect. My advice: DO NOT USE FALLBROOK FLORIST TO FILL ANY FLORAL ORDER YOU HAVE--you will NOT be happy with it!! read more

I'm usually an advocate for local businesses but I find they have poor customer service. I ordered same day delivery flowers that morning that were pretty expensive after realizing I was going to be too tired the day after a 12 hour shift as an ICU nurse to pick some flowers on the way to my mom's house on Mother's Day. After 7 pm I asked my mother if anything came today to secretly find out if she received her flowers after not getting a response from her. After my mother told me no I called them close to 730 pm to fix the issue and their response was that it was currently in route right at that moment so I decided to give them another chance before I take an alternate route. When I showed up to my mother's place a day later after 1 pm she had told me nothing came for her. How tacky is it for me to show up on Mother's Day with NOTHING. if I had been notified it never came I could have picked up flowers on the way to save myself. I called them back a second time to figure out what happened and their response was that it was getting dark so they called the recipient to ask if they can bring it the next day. So much for a surprise. I had no choice to fess up to my mom and she had informed me she received no such call. As much as I know people make mistakes and I encourage supporting local businesses I don't accept dishonesty so I requested a refund. Their response was that if it was in route I couldn't get a refund. The AUDACITY. I had a hard time it was even in route anyways after proving they were dishonest so why would you expect me to pay for expensive flowers that never even showed up the expected date and the day afterwards? I had to argue that wasn't fair so finally someone else came on the phone and stated it was currently in route (which I knew it would be a gamble to rely on their word again) and finally offered me a chance to refuse the flowers and receive a refund so I took it. Never even received an apology or some type of offer like a cheap coupon for the trouble. I hope they change their customer service tactics for future customers if it happens again so they can redeem themselves. read more

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend for her birthday and what they delivered was not even close to what I ordered. I called them about the problem, spoke to the owner, who refused to make it right and deliver the correct arrangement. I was insistent, she was rude and hung up on me. My friend ordered me a beautiful Thomas Kinkade arrangement for Christmas. The arrangement itself was $79.99 before all the fees ringing the total order up to approximately $100.00. I am attaching the description and photo from from the web site. Please see the photos of the arrangement I received. I have had it 48 hours and the flowers are already browning despite changing the water every day as recommended. When I contacted the florist they stated that it was because TeleFlora would not provide them with enough money to create it as represented. I just received a "Birthday" bouquet, a $75.00 arrangement w/ 3 roses, 3 lilies, 2 mini sunflowers, peruvian lily stem and button mum stem w/ a $5.99 ballook and $9.99 box of chocolates. The chocolates were missing...and the flowers were not a $75 arrangement! I have been trying to call them and the phone just rings and rings! This isn't the first time I have received junkie flowers from this establishment. I love to give business to local people but because they get the Teleflora business and FTD someone needs to know how BAD they are! DON'T use THEM!!!!! Ugly and not what I ordered. The bouquet I ordered was supposed to be yellow lillies and white daisies. What arrived were white daisies and tacky tacky pink roses. I ordered directly from their website (which only features Teleflora's options) I looked long and hard for something festive that was free of roses. I know there are always chances for substitutions if they don't have the exact flowers but in what world is a pink rose an appropriate replacement for a yellow Lilly. The most frustrating is walking into a grocery store (this past weekend) and seeing yellow lillies. I will have the grocery store deliver a cheesy $20 prefab bouquet, before I ever order from these guys again. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPNY!! I wanted to order flowers for my mother's birthday. She lives in Fallbrook. I looked through options on their website and found some I liked. I needed next day delivery so I called and the woman very nicely told me she could not do the arrangement I wanted as they didn't have the pitcher shown in the pic. So I told her I would search again and call back. I did and she assured me the one I chose she could do. The next day my mom sent me a pic of the flowers I sent. NOT EVEN CLOSE to the requested arrangment. Different colors, different flowers, different style of arrangmemt. My mom liked them but they were basically the same flowers growing in her yard and not as pretty as what I ordered. I called fallbrook florist and the same woman answered the phone from the day before. I told her I was very disappointed and the flowers delivered were different type, color and arrangement. Her only answer was that they will redeliver tomorrow but they didn't have the wooden box they were supposed to come in. I said fine it was the flowers that mattered. I also pointed out to please deliver them to the house and NOT the barn. There are 2 buildings on their property. To me it's pretty straight forward which one is the house and which one isn't but they left the flowers at the back of the barn! The 2nd bouquet was still not what I ordered and they made her give back the first one! Seriously??!!! This is the worst business I have dealt with in a while. A 5 year old could follow directions and make an arrangement look closer to the pic than this woman. I wish I had checked reviews before ordering. I received a Thomas Kinkade Christmas arrangement from an out-of-state friend from Fallbrook Florist. It looks like they gathered most of the foliage from their backyard. I mean Peppertree berries and leaves? They are dying as I write. Eucalyptus with leaves chewed on by insects and sad pine branches. I told my friend I loved it, but it is horrible and cheap. I had ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered on Saturday, March 16th for someone's birthday and they delivered it the Saturday before instead. I called only 30 min after the delivery to report the mistake, and they didn't answer any of my calls for the entire day. I then called Sunday and in broken English he said, "Call back tomorrow". I then called Monday, got no answer, and then was told through FTD that the florist was demanding that my guest be home during the weekday so they could pick up the old flowers. Not acceptable!! Unfortunately I have to give this florist the lowest possible rating. I ordered my mom a bouquet of flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day 2018 and waited all day for her call thanking me. I live about two hours away from my mom so me sending flowers was really going to make her day and make up for her not seeing me. I finally called the florist around FIVE PM because I started to worry. The woman I spoke to said they had already been out for delivery (and was very rude, unnecessarily might I add) Another TWO hours went by and still nothing. I finally called my mom to ask her if she had received anything (now completely having to ruin the surprise) and she said no. At about 7:45 PM she calls to say she got them. I am sorry but at that point, Mothers day is OVER. I was SO upset. I paid quite a lot for this delivery, waited all day to surprise my mom and I think it is completely UNACCEPTABLE to deliver flowers to a home this late in the day. I did make a call to the flower shop earlier in the day and at that point I was only calling to inquire about my order and the woman on the phone was SO rude to me. I work in customer service myself so I know how people should be treated and that was awful customer service. I always say, if you aren't in the business of making people happy, if you are not happy yourself, if you don't like your job... DONT work in an environment where you need to be polite & kind to people. Plain and simple. At the end of the day they dropped the ball, clearly over booked themselves with orders and clearly didn't properly plan to have all the flowers delivered at a DECENT hour in the day. I usually don't go with chains , I like to support local but I will not be using this location again. My advice to the owner, if they may read this, is just tell your employees to have better phone etiquette, it makes your business look bad when people call and thats the impression they get left with. read more

Carmen is patient and so sweet. This was the only florist that would deliver to Pala Casino for FREE on sunday. No one would do a sunday wedding !! They have been in buisness for years. Don't be fooled by 2 good reviews within the past 4 years, thinking you might accidentally get lucky and have a chance of getting a decent bouquet. Do not take the risk with Fallbrook Florist! I live in Oregon and sent flowers to my Mom a couple days before this last Mother's Day (2017). I wrote them a complaint immediately. As it turned out my Father died on Mother's Day. I mentioned that fact in my complaint and said it would be hard to trust them to make a respectable attempt for flowers for his funeral. I never heard from them! It appears Fallbrook Florist takes advantage of those ordering from out of the area by providing truly horrendous bouquets. I traveled down to Fallbrook for the service and was appalled by the Flowers they delivered Friday June 9th, 2017 to St Peter's, ordered by one of my cousins. It looked as if the flowers were put together by the delivery driver and he was only given leftover flowers from the last week. Picture this; in the very back row of the basket were sparse sprigs of greenery from the Oregon Grape plant. Next came a row of mostly unopened gladiolas stuck in at every which angle. The left half were lavender and the right half were yellow, a fact we wouldn't have known if it weren't for the 6 flowers that were open. The foreground was a haphazard mix of carnations (purple/white kind of stripes), some pink roses and Halloween bright orange day lilies. Get the picture? There are no words for the kind of people that would send such an arrangement to a Church Funeral! We brought the flowers home and I tried to make something halfway decent with some of the flowers as we were having a large dinner gathering on Sunday June 11th in Dad's honor. The attempt was pretty much a failure as petals were already falling off the roses and lilies and the gladiolas still had not opened..Ordering from out of the area is scary. We did have 2 absolutely beautiful flower bouquets delivered by Shari's Florist in Fallbrook. I did not have the same experience as Yolanda. I had the complete opposite. I ordered flowers for someone that was in need of something happy instead what arrived was something so awful I wish I could attach a picture of what she receieved just so everyone would understand my disgust. I called to complain. I was told that a floral manager would call me back. After 3 to 4 hours I called again only to find out that I was not speaking directly to the florist but to a message center. To this day I never received a call. I was so angry that the same day I didn't hear back from Fallbrook Florist I went to a florist near me, called Tri-City Florist in Vista. When I called I actually spoke to the florist and they put together something fabulous AND it was delivered the same day. All done within 2 hours.
