Town Liquors is small and from the outside, it looks like every other package store on route 6, but when you step inside you're greeted with walls, shelves and cases of wine varieties - and not just every day ones. Yes, you can get your Barefoot wine or your (GROSS), white zin - BUT, if you're looking for something a smidge more sophisticated, they can help you with that too. The wine guy, (maybe he's a manager, but for the purposes of this review, let's just call him the wine guy), is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He is working with a small space and trying to make sure it's stocked with reasonably priced, high quality wines. (He's also brought in some heavy hitters that are more expensive that you'd NEVER find in this area.) He loves Spanish wines, so there are quite a few of them. He recommended a couple to me and even let me taste some in store - I bought both. I never would have if he hadn't had them out for tasting because admittedly, I don't know my Spanish wines at all. I feel like if this place had a bigger space, they would be killing it. That's the only reason this isn't five stars, because even with all the clever arranging and displaying, there's just not enough room in the place to have a variety like some of the larger wine stores. BUT, they're further away. So if you're looking to try something new...or you want to bring a bottle to a dinner party that will impress, definitely give this place a try. They also offer a 10% discount if you buy 6 bottles or more. PS. There's a really great Lebanese place in the same shopping center that is BYOB! Perfect to nab a bottle of wine here and head over for a nice dinner. Just a thought. :)

Market Basket provides value compared to the other large grocery chains. This not only includes private label products but also branded products. I could easily put a list together on items that are much cheaper here than Stop & Shop. Example: a popular brand of soup. 2 cans for $5 at Market Basket. One (1), can of same exact soup is $4.79 at Stop & Shop...what???? Two, the service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Also, they always have a decent amount of checkout cashiers, so even on the busy days, the lines are not too bad. Three, the cafe. The cafe has very good takeout food and offers an excellent variety. The pizza is solid. I hear people raving about the steak bombs, but I have not tried one yet. Four, the location. This location is just past the Sagamore bridge as you head east over the canal. It's easy to get to and then get back on the mid-cape highway. The only real negative is that it is generally pretty crowded (for the reasons I mentioned above, I am sure). The store aisles are a bit tight, so it can get pretty hectic in there. However, the pros far outweigh this one con.

The criminals took my cart and another person's cart- combining half the items and then walked away with my cart and bag toward an exit. Thankfully the bag was not my purse but they thought it was! In my case they were two dark haired people working together. A security guard who roams the aisles would be a good idea. Really. Be careful!

The coffee was local Cape Cod Coffee and there were a number of hot options available along with the cold brew, a nitro iced coffee and more.
