They are sneaky and will upsell you after performing a service. Happened twice now to my family. Fortunately I am very familiar with my dental and health insurance and caught the attempt on me. For my wife they tried to bill her after but never communicated the added service with her. Im not concerned about me - they won't get paid for services thst I didnt agree to. I am worried others who are not as comfortable with confrontation may get charged unfairly and deceptively. I highly do NOT recommend this company and look forward to them trying to bill me so I can bring that to the Florida attorney general consumer protection division. read more

I had a terrible experience with this dental office. My husband did as well. We will never go back. The main issue was the inability to work with us. I specifically asked for a cleaning and had X-rays with me. After refusing to have an expensive deep cleaning after being in the office for over an hour, I was refused the regular cleaning. Dr. Schulz basically blew me off, after I questioned some of his recommendations. Lot of upselling for crowns to replace fillings, etc. I felt like I was hearing a cash register making the ca-ching sounds in the background. I have never had an issue with a dental provider before in my life (I'm 68) and was rather shocked by the treatment I received at Wildlight. My husband also had a similar experience with upselling etc. Needless to say, I would not recommend this practice under any circumstances. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Wildlight Dental. I came in originally because I was having pain on my lower left side. X-rays were taken, and I was told everything looked fine , no cavities, no nerve issues, and no explanation for the discomfort. Shortly after, I developed severe pain and swelling around my wisdom tooth area on the opposite side. When I returned in significant pain, I was never actually evaluated by the dentist. I was seen by other staff, the area was rinsed, and I was referred out to an oral surgeon. The referral I was given was not even in my insurance network, leaving me to scramble while in extreme pain to find an oral surgeon who accepted my insurance and had emergency availability. When I was finally evaluated by the oral surgeon, I was informed that not only was the painful wisdom tooth an issue, but the discomfort I had been reporting on the left side was also due to an infection beginning to form. This was incredibly frustrating to hear because I had already sought care for that exact pain. I understand that not every issue is immediately obvious, but when a patient comes in reporting pain, especially worsening dental pain, they deserve a thorough evaluation and to actually be seen by the dentist. I feel that with proper attention and follow-up, days of severe pain, swelling, stress, and rushing to find emergency care could have potentially been avoided. No long waiting even though it was packed when I went in for my appointment. Staff was polite and knowledgeable.

The office is always very clean and all the workers are extremely friendly and professional. They decorate for various seasons which I think is cool. They go above and beyond to make sure that you as a patient are happy and well taken care of. I've gotten several things done last year and this year and I'm very happy with the service. I have been a patient here for 3yrs. now, Last visit dentist was not really to work with me on wether I needed a composite or a crown. I have never had a dentist in the past who was not willing to work in my best interest. It appears that this practice is all about the bottom line. Also, she took an x ray of tooth without lead shield, knowing that I am deligent about wearing one. I needed the biting service of one of my teeth ti be smooth by a sand disk, b/c it was bothering me, she declined, saying, "that tooth needs a crown" I was really to pay for the service. Hygienist Emily was absolutely amazing! Enjoyable experience, as much as it can be for a dental cleaning. I have anxiety thinking of a cleaning, even though I have plenty of dental work, but she was so gentle with all the instruments and gave an amazing cleaning. read more

My daughter went for her 6 month cleaning. The hygienist was super rough with her and basically forced her into paying for fluoride when she told her she didn't want it. They were pressuring her to get Invisalign and she flat out told them she was not interested and they continued to bully her. Definitely will not be going back to them. read more

My Dental Hygienist was great as well as everyone in the office. They took very well care of me.

Appointment at 9:30 am. Arrived at 9:15am and checked in. No further communication, people have gone in ahead of me that arrived after me. It's now more than 15 minutes past appointment. Time management seems to be an issue. Be prepared to wait Will update how long the wait is. Wait was 20 minutes. Did not like the feeling of the office having to meet a quota for Invisalign sales. Avoid this place! I read the reviews that said "do not go here!" and I ignored them because they were in-network, but learn from my almost $750 mistake. The staff does not care about patients and will quote an "estimate" and give misinformation (I don't think they are trying to be mean - they just aren't trained in how insurance actually works) costing the patients a significant amount of money. I told them my insurance was ending and they assured me that they bill on the date of service (which for me was in December). But in fact, that is NOT how it works. They started the process that way but then enter the "seat date" (the day you get the crown in your mouth) and for me it was in January. I would have never done the procedure if I had known that. And I even asked that very question when I was making my decision. Lesson learned on my end I guess. But learn from my mistake and do not go here. I've heard so many stories of horrible billing at this office and I can tell you first hand how terrible it is. read more

I've had 3 visits here and they were all excellent. The office staff up front coordinates very well with the dental staff. I had a sleep apnea consult with the dentist and he was able to determine that I had simple acid reflux rather than apnea. Now I just take an antacid before bed and I sleep so much better! I came back for an exam last week but they weren't able to do the cleaning the same day. I went in for my cleaning today and it went great. The Hygienist was so sweet and gentle. They were running a bit behind schedule but still got me in and out in half an hour. I'm so happy with this practice! read more

Chris had a cleaning there early last month (Feb., 2025) and it was the roughest and most painful cleaning she's had in decades. She called the office and was told pain was normal. She's never had such pain and swelling previously. She was also told she needed a crown and cost would be fully covered by our United Healthcare insurance. After the permanent crown was installed, we got a bill from Family Dental for $1185. Called their office and they said crown wasn't covered. No apology for saying it was. Called UHC and were told that they had no record of Family Dental ever inquiring on Chris' insurance and that coverage for crowns was dropped last year. Despite repeated inquiries to Family Dental, we've had no response. Needless to say, we'll be seeking another dentist read more

Absolutely do not go here. The admin and assistants were great but the doctor himself was an absolute jerk. So we went in today for what was supposed to just be a tooth removal for my 8 year old daughter. they told me that apparently we were getting fillings but that somehow it wasn't listed in her treatment plan?? I agreed to it because it was covered and I figured everyone makes mistakes whatever. So my daughter was beyond scared to have a tooth removed. Apparently we spent too long trying to console her and he came in acting irritated while my daughter is bawling her eyes out. I told him verbatim "can you send the other woman back in here because respectfully you're not helping" and apparently that was too much for him and he asked us to leave immediately and walked away from us! I made an appointment in September for service and confirmed my appointment 3 days before the scheduled time. The night before the appointment I received a text message at 8:38pm saying it had to be cancelled. I had already taken off work to support my scheduled appointment. When I went to reschedule the appointment for after 3pm on any day the following week I was told there was nothing available until the end of January which did not support my leaving the area the beginning of February until November since I was getting crowns and there was a 2-week timeframe to get the permanent crown for installation. The office manager (Kianna) hung up on me and was very unprofessional. My wife who was scheduled for an appointment the next day called to cancel it and after cancelling it was also hung up on by Kianna. I will never recommend or use this Dental Office in the future. read more

I've never had the experience of dealing with an unprofessional office staff at this level. You can't even find out who to call for help. I'll be moving to an honest dental office in the future. I was contacted by the office 2 days prior to my appointment to reschedule from 10am to 11am. The following day, 1 day prior to the appointment I was contacted again by text saying there has been a change in our schedule for tomorrow. Can you be here at 9am? I have already changed my other appointments around to accommodate and then you ask to reschedule again. This has been a consistent issue since I've been coming to this office, multiple times I've been asked to reschedule. Then when I've come in for the appointment after rescheduling it seems as if they are overbooked and have had to wait after my cleaning for 20 minutes before seeing the dentist. read more

My wife calls today, two days after receiving and was told can't see us util sometime in March and the offer would not be valid....It would be over $300 each. ***CAUTION***We were all excited to try our new local Dentist. After 2-3 appointments we have found out that their quotes are WAYYYY off. We had a couple cleanings thinking it would be somewhere close to the quote. WRONG. Almost $1,000 off of quote. Now my wife has half her procedure done and they want almost $1,000 to finish.......Blackmail comes to mind. When I called to voice my concern....even worse. The receptionist kept saying we can transfer your file, obviously they get this call often. I wasn't calling to have my FILE TRANSFERED until after our conversation ***CAUTION***** They split up your appointments just so they can charge you more. SERIOUSLY! We had an appointment scheduled for my husband for months. We were told that they needed to reschedule less than 24 hours in advance. We were frustrated but understood. My husband called back to reschedule, and they were trying to force him into an appointment that did not work for him. We tried to explain multiple times and the receptionist (Kee-an-ah) was very rude and hung up on him after he said we won't be available and needs another time or we have to find another dentist for his crown work which is necessary. I have been a patient for years and spent thousands of dollars with Dr. Schultz. The dentist is great and so are the back-office staff. My husband and myself will be leaving this team until they figure out how to treat patients with respect and figure out the issues with the front office staff. read more

I went in for an appointment last week. After my X-ray, the dentist came in to examine me. When he walked into the small room, his mask was under his chin. I had mine on. He put on the surgical mask (no N95) to examine my tooth. When he was done with the examination, he walked behind the chair to , I sat up and as I was putting on my mask, he came back to the front to speak to me and again the mask was under his chin. This practice requires all patients wear a mask. They take your temperature when you check in. They ask you a series of questions regarding any potential exposure that you may have had to COVID-19. Apparently, that applies to the patients, but not to the dentist. I will not be back. read more

I like this dental office. The hygienists are very nice and friendly. The office is clean and the female dentist is very nice(only one I've seen). They took time to answer my questions. Ive had to go back in because my temporary crown came off but they fixed it quickly. I've referred a family member there as well. The only thing that I have run into is them wanting more money after what I paid for my crown. I think it's an insurance thing though. I'm also waiting on a call back regarding that balance. I mistakenly put my pen back into their clean pen holder. yet they did not even open the door until 15 min after i was told to be thereI mistakenly put my pen back into . The lady sitting at the desk yanked all the pens out dramatically and began cleaning them while glaring at me. I work in the healthcare field, Iwould never make a pt feel this way.
