They explained what I needed to do so they can continue her treatment at no extra cost. Once they received the necessary documents, they showed me the breakdown of what the insurance will pay and what I have to pay. Checking in was very simple. You see a small touch screen panel in front of the desk. The patients' names are listed but only the first 3 letters of their first and last name are displayed. Select the name and the patient is checked in. Just like that. The place itself was very nice, clean, and organized. As you enter the building on the right are some seats and a large flat screen TV showing animated movies. Straight ahead, you will notice a flat screen monitor with a slide show of the staff and patients and a set of double doors leading to the staff offices. On the left side, there is the check-in/check-out desk, more seats, and 2 mini game stations with an Xbox controller attached to each one. There is another set of double doors for the patients to brush their teeth before being seen. Very thoughtful. The doors also lead toward the back where there is a row of chairs for the patients. Yes, you do see the other patients, family members, and other staff side-by-side. To ease the uncomfortable setting, across from each patient chair is a flat screen TV showing animated movies. Once the staff is done with cleaning and adjusting, they discuss what was done and what is expected from that day's appointment such as discomfort from adjustments, cleaning, and such. They send friendly reminders on upcoming appointments by email and phone. On occasion, they would have a mini drawing of some kind on little things such as which staff member asked for what for Christmas or who had this resolution for the New Year. The prizes are simple like a gift card or a goodie bag. Also, this place is next door to the Green Room which has some delicious Italian food but that's another review!

X-rays were taken, and I was told everything looked fine , no cavities, no nerve issues, and no explanation for the discomfort. Shortly after, I developed severe pain and swelling around my wisdom tooth area on the opposite side. When I returned in significant pain, I was never actually evaluated by the dentist. I was seen by other staff, the area was rinsed, and I was referred out to an oral surgeon. The referral I was given was not even in my insurance network, leaving me to scramble while in extreme pain to find an oral surgeon who accepted my insurance and had emergency availability. When I was finally evaluated by the oral surgeon, I was informed that not only was the painful wisdom tooth an issue, but the discomfort I had been reporting on the left side was also due to an infection beginning to form. This was incredibly frustrating to hear because I had already sought care for that exact pain. I understand that not every issue is immediately obvious, but when a patient comes in reporting pain, especially worsening dental pain, they deserve a thorough evaluation and to actually be seen by the dentist. I feel that with proper attention and follow-up, days of severe pain, swelling, stress, and rushing to find emergency care could have potentially been avoided. I trusted this office to help me when I knew something did not feel right, and unfortunately I left feeling unheard and without the care or guidance I needed.

The pricing was as affordable as it could be. Definitely the cheapest orthodontist office I've been to at the beach. I shopped around for a new permanent retainer and ended my journey here after I heard the price (almost a third of the price everyone else was looking for).
