The main reason I am giving a one star review is because every time I went there would be some type of extra charge that popped up that wasn't discussed before. It was annoying the first time but we figured insurance hadn't gone through correctly but then after just a few appointments there were extra charges like 500 here and 400 there. After paying and getting on the phone with insurance and the dentist office it showed that we had actually had a $380 credit. We figured that would be the end of it but then a month and a half later another $400 charge. No visit, or anything that should have resulted in a charge for $400 but for some reason it popped up. After every visit there seems to be some kind of extra charge that was not discussed before. After talking with a few other people who had gone to that dentist office apparently I wasn't the only one that this has happened to. Luckily some recommended other dentist that are nearby on 1st street. If you are looking for dental work that is supposed to be "healthy smiles made affordable" this is definitely not the place. Follow up to what was happening before. We got in contact with our insurance provider our insurance provider kept trying to get itemized lists for what we were getting charged for as well as all the different payments that had gone through. After getting hung up on thankfully our insurance told us not to worry about it and that they would take care of it but warned us this is not the first time that they've had aspen dental not actually put through insurance claims. Go here as a last resort look into any other dentist offices before going here.

How impersonable and inflexible! Life happens, things come up. Maybe try having a policy that if you cancel you still have to pay a certain amount if it's all about your time and money? This office cured me of my dental fears! The whole staff being women drew me in first when I was looking for a new dentist. I'm so so happy I found them. Every single one who talked to me was super compassionate, empathetic, and just kind. Not a single one seemed fake, annoyed, or put out as I've felt from other offices before. You can tell they truly care about their patients. They walked me through every step along the way and told me exactly what they were doing and why. They were all so easy to talk to and put me at so much ease, it was incredible. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I couldn't be happier that I found this place! I will be transferring my daughter over here as well. I *never* thought I I'd ever say that I'm excited to go back to the dentist. That's how good they are. They took someone with a real phobia and turned me into someone who's looking forward to my next appointment! I honestly couldn't be happier. I've been going here for the past couple years…read more I've seen all the dentists, hygienists and assistants. They are always pleasant and quick. The office is nice and clean. I had an annual cleaning recently and was told I'd need a crown. News to me, apparently it was in my file. Strike 1. The office manager said she'd reach out for a quote from my insurance company but that it was typically $1000, which I do not have. I said I could not proceed. She said well let's at least get the quote and can discuss payment options. Haven't heard back since. Strike 2. Today I get an EOB and there's a blurb about saving money using In Network dentists. Evidentially while my insurance remained through the same company, the policy no longer includes them as "In Network". You'd think maybe they might have said that before my appointment - as a courtesy, but they didn't. They have signs that protect them and the onus is on the patient to verify. Thankfully this wasn't a visit involving X Rays or the other little extras that get added on. Somehow my first cleaning of the year was covered, but this one isn't? Strike 3. Very disappointed because I think they're a great office, good people. But if you aren't well versed on insurance and don't verify yourself each time you make an appointment that you're still "In Network" you will be the recipient of "Out of Network" charges. Now I have to switch dentist offices and really don't want to.

The operator answered happily and once she looked up ny name changes her tone..puts me on a brief hold i was going to ask something but she stops me by saying "ok hold on".. mutes herself and then comes back with a "julie said we cant add up more to the bill until it is paid in full" I said ok but my husband pays every month "no no ones paid anything" "oh last month but Julie said to pay the 900 in full" all i heard was past due past due crowns in July..they have a slogan in their office patients first or something like that. I understand there's a bill and we have to py it. I was gonna pay something if they allowed me to go in later but nope the 900 has to be paid in full she says according to someone named Julie. Can't there be an exception? My pain is horrible! That many meds and it wont go away and she didnt even hear me out! "Patients first".. too bad I really hate going to the dentist but I liked Sarah.
