I went in for a routine cleaning and told them that I was experiencing some discomfort and one of the crowns that I had done a year prior to, and Dr Mollie listen to what I had to say and could've easily told me I needed an expensive root canal or other dental procedure to repair, however, she diagnosed my issues and it was simply something small that she was able to take care of right then right there. It's very seldom in this world to have someone who you can trust make the decisions that are in your best interest and not in their own and that is why I love coming here.

I have called and left messages requesting a breakdown of where this balance is coming from so I can compare it to the EOBs from my insurances. I cannot even get that from them. they are suggesting more work. I would be an idiot it I have them do anything after this.

First, the doctors are wonderful and I have no issue with them on our brief interactions during my exams. Since my first visit with Stacey, on my next two follow-up visits she wasn't nearly as nice and even seemed annoyed when I tried to make small talk or ask to get more information on my gums. I eventually went with another hygienist due to scheduling and liked her so I switched entirely and have been seeing someone else the last 3+ visits. Like my previous office, if I have to reschedule at any time - they book out like 8 months so you're screwed. This is why I switched offices initially, who the hell is going to wait 8 months to be seen if they have something come up between the 6 month appointments? That means you're waiting well over a year even for a cleaning. Nope. It's happened multiple times to me here and it is the exact reason I switched offices to begin with. These appointments are booked incredibly far in advance and people have lives - so when you need to reschedule I can understand a few weeks or a month but my Feb 02 appointment being rescheduled for August at the soonest?! Unacceptable. Additionally, the receptionists are rude when you call and try to ask any questions and are condescending. I've been nice when I've called and I'm met with some sort of indifference and talking down to for asking simple questions or trying to explain a situation. I'm again switching offices. I'm out. It started off well but the level of care isn't the same as my initial review. Not by a long shot.

From that point for the next 90 minutes (yes 90 minutes from start of cleaning to actually being able to leave) was non-stop sales. If it was not a service, it was a product. When I checked out, a "plan of care" was presented along with financing options. I was not interested in anything additional. Several of the issues they mentioned, had previously been discussed with my old dentist in my former location. I knew they were not concerns, certainly nothing I needed to go out of pocket hundreds of dollars (after insurance) for. My husbands had a similar experience, but they did not complete a cleaning, nor did the schedule one at the end of the evaluation. They want him to fork over well over a thousand dollars for many of the same services recommended to me. It feels predatory. I deep dove after my husband had his experience and found the lawsuits related to predatory practices and other questionable business practices. I was referred to Dr. Wong by an old colleague when we were stationed here the first time. I don't keep in touch with that colleague anymore, so it's funny how life works. She connected me with them and I loved my time with them from the last time so much that I looked them up again this time around, even though we don't live as close to them as we used to, I've chosen them to be my dentist again. I could have easily gone to the dentists downstairs from my ortho for convenience, but I don't mind the drive. They've gotten a new look with a refresh of the logo, more visible on the building. They are right next to the Car Spa. I'm so happy to find my previous dental hygienist, Tricia, is still there too. She is absolutely fantastic and she always makes you feel at ease. Edwin is always so helpful with any insurance questions. I had to get some extractions done at the end of last year in preparation for my braces. Dr. Wong did a great job. I went back for a cleaning for the first time with the braces on recently and Tricia was great. You're most likely going to see both docs, depending on what day you're in because the parents take days off now. It's nice to see the the mom and dad taking some time off from the practice! They are old school and Anne will call you the day before to remind you of your appointment, so that's nice. The email would probably get lost in my inbox. I love that they still call people LOL.
