Think Twice Before Supporting Zettler Hardware: No Employee Deserves Public Humiliation…read more My family and I have shopped at Zettler Hardware in Pickerington for the entire 11 years we've lived here. We've always believed in supporting local businesses because it's convenient, well-stocked, and the employees have consistently been friendly, helpful, and kind. Until now, we've never had a single complaint. Last week, we purchased an item that had been marked with the wrong price. The cashier, who appeared to be fairly new, was doing her best to correct the mistake. While she was trying to figure it out, the owner walked up. Instead of helping her or quietly showing her what to do, he began criticizing and embarrassing her in front of us and everyone else standing in line. She remained polite and professional the entire time, even saying she would appreciate more training. Rather than encouraging her, he continued telling her he couldn't have her working the front if she didn't know what she was doing. During our conversation, the owner stated, "I'm the owner." I replied that maybe he should teach her. He responded, "I don't know how to do it. I just sign the checks." I told him that, in my opinion, an owner should know the jobs they're asking their employees to do. If your staff doesn't show up one day, you should be capable of running your own business. More importantly, leadership is about teaching people--not humiliating them in front of customers. What made the situation even worse was that while I was speaking to him, he simply walked away in the middle of the conversation. As he walked away, he continued making comments to the cashier about needing more training instead of treating her with respect. That was incredibly rude--not only to his employee, but to us as customers. The cashier showed far more professionalism than the person who owned the business. I genuinely felt sorry for her. This experience completely changed my opinion of Zettler Hardware. I can overlook a pricing mistake. I cannot overlook an owner publicly belittling an employee, dismissing a customer's concerns by walking away mid-conversation, and then continuing to criticize his employee afterward. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Based on what I personally witnessed, I will not be returning, and I hope the owner reflects on the example he's setting for both his employees and his customers.

Cleaning supplies, food, items, and household sundries are all available here, as well as seasonal items and decorating/party supplies if you need them. Everything is very economically priced. Two of my favorite aisles are for boxed movie style candies for movie night nights at home, etc., and the greeting card aisle. These are all the regular favorite candies that you would find at a movie theater, and high-quality Hallmark style cards. So convenient and price friendly that I keep a variety of supplies of these items on hand at home, for ready use. This is a large shopping mall and just down the way is a Kroger supermarket if you need that. Am parking in the front. Be prepared to carry your purchased items to your car, because you can't take the shopping carts outside of the store.

No matter what you are looking for this location pretty much has you covered covered. While I miss the day of $1 prices, they are starting $1.25 and up. This location is a solid choice for quick, affordable shopping with friendly employees. It is also located in the same strip mall as Kroger and down from one of my favorite Chinese restaurant, so you have a bunch of options in the surrounding area.

Big bins to sort through to get parts. Some specialty parts set aside separately, Also a bulk bin for minifigs, and assembled ones for purchase individually. Plus they buy used sets and parts. Great service. Decent prices for what it is- Lego is quality stuff and rarely cheap, but this is the most economical way to get them, in bulk. There's a room for parties I think, where you can work on projects.

And they have amazing prices compared to other thrift stores. I ended up purchasing 4 things - a dresser, two chairs, and a coat 'tree'. An employee walks with you, marks what you want to buy, then checks you out. They will then help you load big pieces. Shout out to Seth & Wayne for being an amazing help to us on a busy weekend.

Identical items with sometimes have a $25 price difference (the Kincade villages, some china etc). I don't think it's worth going to that part of Morse road unless they fix the price problem.

It's closed on Thursdays, and on Fridays they get new stuff. Seven dollars that day, and then the prices go down. I went on Monday and it was two dollars, I think it's $.50 on Wednesday. Walk in, and you basically see big tables full of crap. You are at a discount store, sorting through tables full of stuff. Some of it's kind of interesting. I ended up buying half a dozen things. I didn't really find what I was looking for, because the selection changes daily, if not hourly. But hey, two dollars for a six pack of pretty good ramen? Cool. Two dollars for a box of KN95 masks? Pretty good. Service was friendly. Place is clean. It's also not super crowded inside, with people or merchandise, at least on a day when it's not nuts like the actual Black Friday.
