I inquired about the price of the bench she told me &85 for the used bench. I didn't purchase. I found the exact same item at Academy and I'm waiting on the delivery now for $5 less. I think they need to come down or at least cross reference prices and also they at least need to do light cleaning on the items they are trying to sell.

However, DG saved my life today as I sought a quick post work out snack before I picked up my cousin for his monthly errands. I was really torn to turn into the parking lot because the gigantic parking lot gives the allusion that the place it a ghost town with so few cars parked. I just knew I'd have the advantage and would be able to run in and out for my few items. Boy was I wrong...so I thought! Upon entering, I saw a pretty lengthy line of customers looking exasperated from waiting--and one sole cashier working the line as fast as she could. I thought about ducking back out and just hitting a fast food joint, but I'm really trying to be good ya'll, so decided to get my hair mouse, peruse a few shelves to see how things were organized (pretty neat), and found my nuts and beef stick for my snack. Maybe a five minute shopping spree. Lo and behold--no line at the register! I praised the cashier for her speediness because that line was pretty looooong when I first came in. Only gripe I would have is that the lighting could be better (I'm getting old...need more light to see things sometimes)! i walk in at 9:25pm...it's 35 minutes till closing and immediately the lady at the register yells…read moreat us that we only have 15 minutes. my mom and i look at eachother as if we heard the same attitude or if we were just being dramatic. her name was miss marina if i heard correctly, absolute worst customer service. camila was an absolute sweetheart. we asked her about an item that was there to see if it could still be sold to us but immediately marina comes out of her office and goes "no! we don't sell displays!" like wow okay, didn't need the attitude, but okay. practice better customer service, that was very unprofessional and rude.

I even once found some cute stem glassware for when I host game/wine nights - they don't look cheap and actually rival other stemware I purchased from West Elm. In short, you can pretty much find anything you need here, on a budget and it's worth checking out if you haven't already. That being said, be prepared for the store to sometimes be extremely low on stock for candy and other snacks. They also randomly close, for no reason it seems. Eg, you show up on Monday at 2PM and they are closed...why? Also, there usually doesn't seem to be much staff, so don't expect to find anyone on the floor to help you. Usually only two, at most, registers are open. I've never had to wait in line forever though, so I'm not complaining.

I went in to get a haircut and although the salon is beautiful and the staff is so friendly, without getting into too much detail, my haircut was not at all what I wanted. I called the salon and explained I was not happy with the end result. They got me in with Rylee the next day and I am so glad I ended up in her chair! She knew exactly what I wanted, fixed it and styled it in 30 mins! She is absolutely wonderful to talk with and is definitely who I will be going to see next time! Not a huge selection of children's clothes but very reasonable prices. Most of the store is dedicated to helping women with breast feeding. The owner helps women with one on one consultations and has a non profit group called smart mommies that is basically a peer group for mothers to come for support in all aspects of motherhood. I haven't been able to attend one yet but I can't wait to check it out! They also carry a selection of maternity clothing for good prices. My kids loved coming with me as they have a whole section for them to play in including a chalk wall for them to draw on. All-in-all I highly recommend this place!
