This particular location is not bad and it is in a pretty good location .there is no parking lot and you are quite a few blocks away from the train station on archer ave and the hillside station. But you have buses that stop right in front of the store . As far as the atmosphere this store is always crowded like most marshalls stores. When you see something you want I advise you to get it because when you come back it wont be there .sometimes the shoppers can be a little aggressive at times but things can't get to far out of hand because the 103 percent is literally around the corner ..I don't shop there all the time but when I do the staff seems to be ok .I never seen them acting shady or anything like that . I would go back there again In the future.

The employees at the register seem to be cordial. I can't say I've ever had an employee offer me any assistance but it's been a long time since I started coming here and I honestly don't remember. The lines can get unbelievably long as certain points of the day and year for that matter. So if you can either go early or come really late and you should be fine.

I initially felt overwhelmed by all the options, but after describing the type of scent I wanted, they guided me toward some great recommendations. They even included a few fragrance samples and a vial of a close second choice, which I really appreciated. Overall, excellent customer service and a very satisfied customer!

I noticed a sales associate standing behind the counter and I said" good morning, do work for Chanel?" She very rudely turned her back on me and said " I WORK FOR MACY'S PERIOD!" Well, okay, I'd like to purchase a bottle of Mademoiselle please. " Don't you see that I'm busy." She never turned to face me, hence I snapped her photo from the side . I couldn't believe that she was so incredibly rude. I walked away and moments later she was standing with colleagues complaining about customers expecting her to stop counting her samples to sell something. Really? As a platinum card holder I expect a higher level of customer care and respect. I don't believe that she realizes how replaceable she is. I walked over to the CHANEL makeup counter where I made my purchase and was given a first-class experience. Photos attached are of that woman CARLA ignoring me and then complaining to colleagues.,

Sat in line for 27 minutes to purchase two things, while I watched only two other registers open while three employees stood behind them gossiping and hanging up clothes, instead of opening another register. There's a wrinkly ass white woman with blonde hair and glasses that takes the cake as worst employee I've ever seen. She let an employee who was off the clock cut the entire long lin so she could return clothes. That was the only time the old white women ever went to a register - to help an employee instead of a customer. She just sat on her phone while everyone else worked. I will continue to post on this place everytime I go, with the goal of removing that woman from her position. Such a selfish human being. Pictures will come next!

Just a few minutes ago I tried to make a purchase and the cashier #6 told me I had to buy a bag. I told the cashier I only needed a paper bag, and she rudely and repeatedly told me they didn't have any paper bags. I asked again how, in a store as big as that, they didn't have a single paper bag. Her response was, rudely, no, no, no. The cashier or manager at the next register, register #5, just looked at me mockingly. They have no idea what customer service means.

This is the oddest Burlington that I've ever been to. I was in the area early for a Yelp! Elite…read moreevent and decided to do some shopping beforehand. The entrance to the escalator leading up to Burlington is filthy. Garbage everywhere. Once you get up to Burlington, it's quite confusing. First, I set off the alarm going IN. I don't know why. I didn't even have any bags on me. Then I had to go through this maze and wait for a security guard to open the security tape and let me in! So freaking weird. Once in, the store is pretty decent. However, the beauty section is chaos. Not organized at all and is a big mess. This is the largest Burlington I've ever been to. 4 floors. It's hard to browse all 4 because the longer you're in this store, the longer you'll be on line! The line was crazy long when I got there but there were quite a few registers opened so I didn't wait too long. I've had longer waits at other Burlington's. It's kind of jarring to see multiple security guards walking around with BULLET PROOF VESTS with loss prevention printed on them. Also, 80% of the items in the beauty section are in plastic boxes. The employees weren't too friendly. I did find some good buys for a great deal, but that's typical at any Burlington. Would I come to this Burlington again? Not too sure seeing as I don't live in the area. There's a slight chance that I'd come by again if I'm ever around that neighborhood. One last thing. Not only did I set the alarm off going into the store. I also set it off leaving. Did they check either time? Nope. If they're that strict with loss prevention, you'd think they'd do so. Obviously, the scanners don't work so why don't they get them fixed, again, being that they're tight with loss prevention?

Avoid this place on the weekends if you don't feel like standing on a painfully long line. It's good for necessities (food), cheap furniture if you're just starting out (if you're an IKEA fan, Target is probably next on your list), and the nostalgia factor since it has a DVD and book section (good for us older folk who miss the good ol' days of pre-streaming video and bookstore browsing). Outside of that, I don't shop here. The clothes, handbags and sunglasses may look cute, but they're not made to last - fast fashion landfill-friendly crap. If you must have this crap, wait a few months until it ends up in Goodwill and you'll get it for a song. Since I care about the earth, I'd rather buy my clothes and bags from a high end consignment shop - that's where you get real quality for less. Bring your own bag as Target charges you five cents for its own branded gray Target bag if you forget. I take my own reusable bag everywhere and have never had to pay the five cent tax. Ever. Judging by the number of times I've seen people carrying the five cent, gray Target bag, however, I can tell how many people forget and carelessly throw away their hard earned money unnecessarily. Seeing that stupid Target bag everywhere also tells me that everybody seems to be struggling, as everyone and his mother seems to shop there. Shopping at Target can be depressing because there are few alternatives for those who yearn for something higher quality but can't afford Nordstrom's. Target is the cheapo version of what used to be the middle class department store, like Alexander's. It has a little bit of everything but nothing is high quality. Most of what they sell is cheap and disposable. Since department stores have mostly disappeared, Target is the only facsimile left for people who miss browsing in a well-stocked general store. It's a store for the struggling as well as the middle class, so cheapness rules the day. Sad.

But of course always a lousy encounter to remind me of how this particular Target truly does target customer. And yes they definately target me and probably folks who look like me. This is the end of the school year & my go to gift for school staff are gift cards. Yesterday I purchase 4 visa gift cards and the only the odd thing that was said to me was that the gift cards aren't on display because customers mess with them--that's an important detail. Today, I went back to purchased an additional 4 gift cards from the same cashier (Jasmine). She initially claimed I can only purchase 3. When I pointed out that I purchased 4 the day before; she claimed she was scolded by a manager and that the register doesn't allow more than 3. I offered to make 2 separate transaction and even offered 2 separate payment sources, if that worked better. She was obviously lying as she "forgot" the name of the manager who scolded her and the register did allow 4 gift cards to be purchased exactly as it did the day before. Long story short, I spoke to store manger and he confirmed what my experience should have been in just making a simple purchase without the extra ego tripping by Jasmine. And that detail, she claimed about the gift card display was clarified by the manager as being place outside of customers purview to reduce the cluttered look of the customer service area. The managers explanation makes more sense since it literally sat behind the counter previously, where customers can't mess with them anyway. Addendum: it was actually 6 gift cards that I purchased the day before not 4.
