I do not see any Marshalls here of men in uniform! Nothing enticing here as half an aisle in the shoe department was entirely empty of stock. Seven, eight, eight and half, nine, ten and higher the women shoe sizes go for for Big Foot yet no six, or six and half. Shoe size discrimination for women of my height poisons here!! Yet the Spring line up of clothes are in stock but lacking in the active wear department for basics where my search played on. Customer service is nonexistent as there were no humans in point sight for assistance, ayia!

This location service is horrible and extremely unprofessional, the entire upkeep of the store was disgusting the customer service was unhelpful and just an overall bad experience.

I picked up a different rice cooker after I received a refund from the first purchase at the other store. I really scored a good deal on the rice maker as it was priced at $49.99 and I received 30% off. I paid about $37 plus. What a bargain. The staff are visibly miserable, unfriendly, and downright rude. And it's not just a bad day, but I witness or experience this every time I come in. There's one male employee in particular who is especially unprofessional. He completely ignores you when you speak to him -- no acknowledgment, no help, not even basic decency. It's as if your presence is an inconvenience or you're speaking another language. What's more upsetting is that this isn't happening in isolation. It's happening in a working-class, urban, predominantly POC neighborhood. And it's hard not to notice the pattern. I truly believe this Target allows this level of customer mistreatment because of where it's located and who it serves. Would this kind of behavior be tolerated at a Target in a wealthier, whiter neighborhood? Doubtful. This isn't just about bad service. It's about how people in certain communities are dehumanized and made to feel like they don't deserve basic courtesy. Target should be ashamed to let a store carry their name and brand while treating people this way. Do better.

I was checking out at the self checkout around 9PM on a Tuesday evening. There weren't many customers around as it was a weekday. As I was checking out, there was a sales person by the self checkout section. I was paying by coins today as the machine gave me an option to pay by card or cash/coins. I usually pay with cash or card but since I wanted to get rid of some coins laying around the house to declutter my space, I brought some coins out to use. Then the lady, went up to me and asked me, "you're paying with coins?" I responded, "Yes, I am." She then said, "You can't put coins all at once or else the machine will jam." I respected her reasoning, I took notice, and I accommodated and slowly put in the coins little by little. She then had the audacity to tell me to "show her" my coins. WTF. Why do I have to show her the money that I was using to pay the machine to her. I am paying at a self check out. I directly asked her, "Why?" In no way shape or form was I going to let her step all over me and my rights to my own money. She made me felt so unbelievably uncomfortable. There was a camera in front of me and from the camera, I saw her in the background literally eyeing me down the whole time as I was paying. The funny thing was she an Asian middle-aged woman, probably in her late 40s or early 50s, had long black hair, and spoke perfect English. She targeted me, an asian woman, in her late 20s, and in no shape or form looked or done any illegal activity. I was well dressed, wearing a north face jacket, and a gym fit, long white socks, and a new balance sneakers with a duffel bag, since I wanted to do a mini target run after my gym workout. I have innocent features & appearance. I look way younger than my age, my hair was cleanly tied back. I had an open body language. I was only purchasing three things: frozen chicken nuggets and a bottle of ketchup and chitpotle sauce. I definitely don't feel comfortable coming back here anymore. Target, do better with your hires. You lost a loyal customer. I'm going to the one in College Point from now on.

The entrance to the escalator leading up to Burlington is filthy. Garbage everywhere. Once you get up to Burlington, it's quite confusing. First, I set off the alarm going IN. I don't know why. I didn't even have any bags on me. Then I had to go through this maze and wait for a security guard to open the security tape and let me in! So freaking weird. Once in, the store is pretty decent. However, the beauty section is chaos. Not organized at all and is a big mess. This is the largest Burlington I've ever been to. 4 floors. It's hard to browse all 4 because the longer you're in this store, the longer you'll be on line! The line was crazy long when I got there but there were quite a few registers opened so I didn't wait too long. I've had longer waits at other Burlington's. It's kind of jarring to see multiple security guards walking around with BULLET PROOF VESTS with loss prevention printed on them. Also, 80% of the items in the beauty section are in plastic boxes. The employees weren't too friendly. I did find some good buys for a great deal, but that's typical at any Burlington. Would I come to this Burlington again? Not too sure seeing as I don't live in the area. There's a slight chance that I'd come by again if I'm ever around that neighborhood. One last thing. Not only did I set the alarm off going into the store. I also set it off leaving. Did they check either time? Nope. If they're that strict with loss prevention, you'd think they'd do so. Obviously, the scanners don't work so why don't they get them fixed, again, being that they're tight with loss prevention?

The old Marshalls I had known years before no longer looked familiar to me but in a good and positive way. The skincare/makeup section is moved from the back to the side. So much easier to find products now in comparison to years ago where if you see it, you'll see it. And if you don't, well that's too bad and it's on you. More beauty brands from Sephora including K-Beauty are found in store like The Inkey List, Herbivore, Glow Recipe, Kiehl's, Summer Fridays, Laneige, Farmacy, Curlsmith, Clinique, Skinfix, Peter Thomas Roth, Glossier, First Aid Beauty, Drunk Elephant and etc. Glad to see that the Flushing location finally has a separate section just for K-Beauty alone.
