During this visit, however, I was directed to the front instead. When I arrived at the front, the signage pointed toward Customer Service, so I waited there for a short while. I noticed several employees performing various tasks, including two at the registers. After waiting, I asked one of the cashiers for clarification. A female associate informed me that all Amazon returns now go through the main line. I mentioned that the signage was somewhat misleading, as it still indicated Customer Service, but her response was curt--she suggested I "take it up with Corporate" and explained they had several call-outs that day. While I understand staffing challenges can occur, I was taken aback by the tone and lack of professionalism in the response. I wanted to bring this to your attention so the situation could be reviewed, as it may reflect an opportunity for better communication and customer service training. Especially for the Vera Wang collection. Through the years as with many, many companies, quality ran through the gauntlet. It is no more! Plastic shoes, thin, scratchy materials. Sometimes if I go I can find a quality item, but I have to hunt and dig, like my big heavy Madden Girl coat for winter. I love it. The big stopper for me was getting a phone call yesterday from a thick, thick accent from I believe the Philippines. The man was asking for me and insisted to speak to me, which I had told him several times it was me and asked what this was about. Then he gives me information that I had to think and decipher that I had a balance on my card. yes, I know. I was on vacation out of the country for 10 days. Payment due in 8th. I have never, ever received a call from Kohl's! EVER! I do always pay in full within a week or 2. Nope this time I was late. I told him I thought it was a scam and he started to say You want to pay now? I say No. He raises his voice and insists several times, You pay bill! With that I hung up thinking, yes it was a scam. I git on the website & found yes I was late by 5 days! 5 days!!!! His amount was correct. So now, I paid and canceled my account! Kohl's you outsourced your company and the standards I used to purchase a whole lot of products through the years! Good bye- Good riddance!! There are still quality stores with quality clothes that the staff still cares and attends to the clientele. You may not care now but enough people will. Many stores have gone belly up, and you are at risk having others in other countries have our private information access and to have them make aggressive threatening phone calls to great clients, well sucks for you CEO!

Walking into the store today, I saw most of the store has moved on from just cards to shirts, bags, church merchandise, picture frames and my personal favorite, Chiseled/designer glass. This caught my eye, but I did enjoy the 3D Harry Potter card. I will be on the look out for a Mother's Day gift. I still have some time. I have the receipt but I'm not sure about their return policy as I did not want the extra $3 warranty on the game that covered it for a year. We'll see. I pay my first payment with a card $254. Then try to my credit card on my phone. That card is strictly credit . I don't have a pin. Well it doesn't go thru so he says hit cancel and try again. I try again and it doesn't go thru. I tell him we will have to cancel the transaction until a further time. He tells me well I'm not sure if I can do that. Let me call help desk. He calls the help desk and says they canceled it. But he then shuts down the work register. He never gave me a receipt, email or any type of cancellation form. He told me oh you weren't charged. But I check my account and I was charged $254. I only have some type of register log saying I spent $254. I've been shopping at GameStop for 15 plus years. Never have I ever got done bad this way. This guy constantly kept slamming stuff and being angry with me when I did nothing. I'm a customer. I've never been so scared to go back to a store. I just want my money back and I'll never even visit a GameStop again . This is for 10 year old nephew whom my brother sent me to go grab. Last time I purchased some locally - was from the store in Manassas, VA - in the the Parkridge Center retail complex - so I headed over there. When I arrived - I found that location no longer exists. I checked on my iPhone to see what the local location options were - and found that there was a newer location in Gainesville, VA - much closer to where I live. So I headed over - it was a weekday around lunchtime. I was approached within a minute or so by a staff person - asking if I needed any assistance finding anything? I did - and she guided me to the area I wanted to peruse. I asked about some specific soaps - which they did not currently carry - I guess I never realized it until that moment - but some of what Bath & Body Works carries is tuned to the seasons. Makes sense. So I "smelled" a number of hand soaps - and picked out which ones appealed to me. I selected the Cedarwood Forest, Mountain Teakwood, Kitchen Lemon, and The Perfect Autumn. Service was good. Staff was helpful. Paid with Apple Pay. #BathAndBodyWorks
