I found one or two brand name items in the skin care/cosmetics section that I ended up getting. I would've gotten more, but most things had no expiration dates which weirds me out with things I'm putting on my face. Unfortunately, most of the items were either previously opened/ broken/tested by other shoppers. There's only so much a business can do about three poor behavior of its clientele, but it still didn't give a great impression overall.

I am very disappointed with Kohl's and its policies. One of the items I ordered was not available for shipping so I needed to pick it up from the store. This was an inconvenience itself since the whole point of me ordering online was so that I would NOT have to deal with parking, driving, etc. to the store. I paid for the total and earned $15 in Kohl's Cash. As a paying customer, I was under the impression that I PAID for my item. I was unable to pick it up and assumed that since I PAID for the item, it would be held. When I went to use my Kohl's Cash, I was informed that it was revoked because I did not pick up MY item that I PAID for. The item was then reshelved at the store and I was told that it would be taken off my bill. I wanted the item. I paid for the item. I purchased it as a gift for my sister. I did not receive a courtesy call that it would be forfeit. I don't understand why this would happen. How is this a good business policy? The customer has already paid for the item. It has become a profit. Why in the world would any company choose to refund the customer for an item that he/she clearly wanted that was bought and paid for? Plus, the customer service I spoke to on the phone was very unhelpful. They tried to be courteous by English was definitely not their native language. I had to call repeatedly until a supervisor told me there was nothing that could be done. Even though I had gone to the storefront to RE-purchase the item. Not only that she fitted me into a new bra that I absolutely love. I've always been consistently pleased by the team at this store led by the wonderful Anila but I've never tried personal shopping. Please note my review was done February of 2014 now almost a year later the owner offers her "side" . I find it odd that she can remember exact details about our visit to her store when she is responding 15 months after the original review. All I can say is that my previous review stands and that everything I wrote was true to our experience. As a side note we had visited the store previously trying to save ourselves the 90 minute drive to Harrisonburg. Believe me we didn't keep going back because we enjoyed the horrible service.
