One thing I like about this location, is it's less busy than others in Northern Virginia. Then again it's outskirts. Nice folks working here. I do wish they would have kept the truly $1 item prices. Their stocks appeared solid prior to the increase in costs. It should be renamed $1.25 Tree. This one seems to have less cleaning items. On a plus note everything else is in stock. The store was a typical dollar tree. There was a wide variety of craft items, picnic supplies, toiletries and snacks. Bonus points for the Florida decorations (flamingo decorations, hula items & giant mugs). read more

Not sure why this location got only three stars. It was fantastic. I found most everything I was looking for, even some of those hard to find items. The store was very busy but the staff managed to keep the store tidy. I was very pleased and will be going back seasonally to see what new and exciting items are available. The only items I did not find was the white wire spice racks and the medium sized clear acrylic trays. Also, if I absolutely must say something negative, I wish they had more of the organizational items I like in white‍They are friendly and helpful otherwise. read more

So excited this DT is closer to me! The store is huge as it was an old Rite Aid! I'm hoping that because it's so large it's easier to keep clean and organized. Every time I come to this location it always seems like there's only 1 employee working (the cashier) I feel bad for the cashier cause this location gets busy and the line gets insane and it looks like theres never anyone else there for back up. The location is absolutely messy every time. The bathroom is a mess . Just a very unorganized place. Also I decided to stop by one Sunday morning to pick up a few things, of course I checked the stores hour before hand and it said they open at 10am, cool I arrived at 10:30am and the doors were still closed and people were still waiting for the doors to open it wasn't till 20min later when they finally opened.... read more

I'll start with the negative so we can leave thing on a positive note. Holy disgustingly filthy bathroom. Might be the worst bathroom I've seen in decades and I've seen the bathroom at the Port Authority, NYC in the 80's. Check out the picture. It was so disgusting that I didn't even walk in. Now that that's out of the way I'll say that this dollar tree has just about everything you need. They even have bags of ice. The store is a bit cluttered but what dollar store isn't? Came her for the first time today and experienced the manager going on a rant for over 30 minutes and threatening to close the store if the next shift manager didn't show up at 3pm. Well her disgruntled self had the other employees joining in. Her protest was loud for everyone to hear and at 3pm she ordered an employee who turns out to be her husband to close the door and not let customers in. He did just that. It was so unprofessional and unwelcoming for customers to have to listen to her whinnying and carrying on. She said it was her last day. The other employees were just as happy to follow her instructions. It so disappointing to see an adult in a managerial role act the way she did. Customers were in awe. A woman told the manager aren't you a little old to be acting this way? Customers don't need to know your business." Well, that shut her up but the husband kept turning customers away and locked the doors. read more
