When checking out I asked about getting $60 cash back. She said the most they could do was $50 and to use the ATM if I needed more. The ATM was broken. She refused to let me get cash back without a purchase. I just pointed to the $70 in purchases i had just made and she said I needed to do two more transactions to get the money I wanted. Then when I went to do that, I was told they only had $5 in the drawer available for cash back. When I asked her what we could do to resolve the issue, she said this was my problem, not their's. I replied sarcastically "Gee, thanks for the tremendous help and outstanding customer service" as I walked out. Before the door closed I distinctly heard her say "Fuck off asshole", or something to that effect. Needless to say, my opinion of this location has been drastically re-evaluated.

I bought a pair of sunglasses a day ago and this morning they dropped from the kitchen counter to the floor and the fram split near the nose piece and the lense fell out. I took the sunglasses to the store and asked for help. After telling her they broke after falling she said "Well they weren't broke when you bought them - there is nothing I can do." Then I was shocked to see all the items in the freezer and refrigerator, that you'd expect to see at a Walmart or Fry's. All the food items were in good date range, I didn't see anything expired of all the items I was browsing. That's a really great thing about this location, it means they check the items on the shelves frequently. The lady at the front register was super friendly and fun to have small talk with as we checked out. I didn't catch her name, but she was great! Excellent customer service at this store, with nearly fully stocked shelves. I highly recommend this location, if you're in the area. I will surely be stopping here again when I am in town. There's a good amount of parking and handicap parking as well.

Some items were like 5 dollars, some were 7, and others were over 10 or even 20. The other criticism I had with this store is the area at night can feel kind of sketchy since it is pretty dark near the store. And it just had an uncomfortable atmosphere on the outside. Overall it's a decent store but I will stick to Dollar Tree. More specifically the Dollar Tree in Prescott by the Best Buy and Red Robin.

The ending: He told me to get the fuck out of the store while walking away and never come back or he will call the police. Now let me give you background. This young boy was rushing everyone because he had a line and blamed this line on me a black woman. When I came to the register, I had decided that 2 kids lunchboxes I didn't need and sat them on the rack. I was next in line, he wanted me to hand him those 2 items, because my leg was hurting, I said I will as soon as I reach you. Even though he had a mask on, his eyes said everything. He began to get antsy and moving with anger with the customer in front of me. When I got to him, I needed to step over and give him the 2 boxes I put on the rack and so I did. He snatched them as though I was disrespecting him. His disgust of me traveled through the air. It was clear that this boy was racist with a bad attitude. I'm a 61 year old woman who had my off day this day and I was so upset that he said when I asked to see the total on the machine that I had asked for something personal of his. There were 2 sets of bags that had a red dot on them and I had asked if he could check the prices. He said the prices are the same, I said, what is that, he said I think it is $1.50 I said is it too much to ask for you to check it? He said they are both the same. I said are you sure it is not $1.25 for all I saw was a $1.25 sign, he said no they should have marked it in the isle. He wrang it up and I said that since it was $1.25 I will take the pink one, he huffed and puffed and with anger he said, now I have to void and re-ring the bag because it's a different code. I was like, why are you acting like that. He huffed and puffed again and said the total and since it was clear that he didn't care for my kind, I wanted to see the total and count what I purchased. I don't think that was too much to ask. I asked him twice to put it on the screen and he said, HURRY UP you are holding up my line. I was appalled that he blamed this line on me. So I said that, I said I'm not holding up your line and no I will not rush, common sense says open another register and help these people. I asked him again to put the price on the screen and he screamed it to me in front of all to see, then I got mad and said, why are you talking to me like this? He put the price on the screen and I got my money out and he took it off the screen before I could see the change. WHen he gave me back my change he threw it on the counter and I took it and was about to leave and he said, Get the fuck out and don't come back again and that is when I said: if you would take that stupid mask off to let others see what you look like in this hot environment maybe you could face people like a man. When he told me not to come back that I was band, I said DAMM! I was hot at this point. If my son was here, it would have went different I'm sure. And this is what this letter is all about, to let everyone know that there is a racist boy running the register and obviously usurping his position as a manager when in fact he is just a dollar tree cashier. Why do we still have to fight this battle. Signed mad as hell grandma.
