Even though Attleborough isn't the "nicest" city in the state of MA, they should have enough funds to clean up this area entirely. Having to drive through the train station area made this whole experience completely "ghetto". There are barely any decent stores in the shopping center, and now with the closure of Kmart, who knows how long that huge space will stay vacant! Home Depot and Market Basket are the best attractions, but you really don't need to come down here for anything. Bob's Furniture and Bob's Stores (not to be confused) are both decent, but not a great attraction. No decent restaurants.... Olive Garden & McDonald's just won't cut it. And the entire parking lot layout is the most pointless thing ever. If you are coming from the direction of I-95 or Route 1, you have to go down and around an alley where the train goes and under a bridge to only come out to a complete cluster jam outside Market Basket. Then, there will be another cluster jam in front of the Kmart area. And then again, upon leaving, there will be a huge traffic jam leading the whole way back out to get back onto Newport Avenue, since there is a traffic light in the parking lot! I came to check out the closing sale for Kmart, and it wasn't even worth it. I won't ever be back to this shopping center unless there is something that opens that I cannot live without (which is so unlikely). The seagulls in the parking lot were eventful though! Just a complete cluster of people and cars that was laid out so poorly..... I'm sure Atlantic Retail is regretting the way they decided to build Bristol Place! 1 star.

This store is now properly replenished, clean, and organized. They also invested in having more cashiers on registers so even during peak shopping hours wait times in line are under five minutes. Overall a great improvement and I would actually recommend this store over the Burlington in the same shopping plaza now.

Located right across from Lorraine Fabrics, I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile…read more I was finally drawn in during their annual sale. As soon as I walked in, I wondered why it had taken me so long to check it out. Located in an old warehouse, CMI doesn't have that warehouse feel. A good size room, filled with hand-braided rugs and baskets, the place is cheerful and inspiring. Even though I wasn't looking to buy anything, I just couldn't resist purchasing a Pawtucket rug (made from scraps of fabric) and a basket (perfect for storing those odds and ends). The staff were friendly and helped with moving rugs, giving the background to how they are made, and helping to roll them up for take away. While I was there during a huge sale, it seems that even the normal prices are pretty reasonable, as it was, I got a full area rug for less money that my IKEA rug cost me. And it is more beautiful, better made, and local. S This place has been there for 20 years, and is still a hidden gem.

I was in the area and I went to get some little toys to put into our Toy Drive box. There was a lot of stuff off the shelves, all over the place, the aisles were also a bit crowded and messy. I understand that many times, the manager and the staff try their best to keep stuff in place, but sometimes the patrons are the ones that leave things thrown away...maybe that's the case here.
