So fresh there's a deli and a bakery and a large variety of milks and you name it they got it. Kinda like Wegmans. Clothing, toys, pharmaceuticals, health and beauty aids. I even found salt for my margaritas! It's a great place to find all that you're looking for in one place. It gives you more time to hang out on the beach! I felt like this location didn't follow the norm for the layouts that stores usually follow. I was about halfway through the store before I felt like giving up and finding a register. Not to worry, I did find my deodorant, saving me another stop on my way to my destination. Made my way to the registers, and I feel like this location pushes you towards using the self checkouts. There were not many registers open that allowed a customer to be dealt with by an associates. In fact, I feel like there were more associates surrounding the self checkout area. With that, why only have four of these and push a majority of people here. Not everybody knows how to use them, and with that, not everybody SHOULD used them.

They absorb so much water that they cannot even be put in the dryer without the danger of burning out the dryer motor. Everything from household, food (shelf stable), seasonal, pet supplies, personal hygiene items, toys, and on and on! I purchased a very nice pair of Champion shorts for my husband and a couple of other items. I may even go back to stock up on some club soda- extremely reasonable! The products available carry brand recognition too. I signed up to become an insider even though I'll be six feet under for decades before one of these stores is likely to come to my area. The cashier was pleasant and there were no lines and no waiting. The prices were great and the items I looked at were high quality.

My husband received a shirt from my mother that did not fit. I went to return with the original…read morereceipt since they did not have it in the correct size. I was told all I could do was either return the amount on my mother's credit card or receive a merchandise credit. On top of it, she used a $10.00 Kohl's cash on the purchase. So rather than take a little off each item, they deducted the whole $10. What was the point on saving the receipt? I could have returned without the receipt and still only got the store credit, and not lost the $10.00 Kohl's cash. I feel like I was screwed for doing the right thing. Kohl's puts their customers in a potentially embarrassing situation with a returned gift. You look cheap if you used Kohl's cash and are forcing the customer to shop in their store for something they may not want. They hold your money hostage with returns. Next Christmas or any other time I need to buy a gift that I'll purchase for anyone outside of the family, I'll shop elsewhere. Their customer service was nasty too. When I called corporate headquarters to check on their policy, I was told I was a liar, no store returns for cash, even though I just returned items at Penny's, Walmart and Boscov's which did. Then when asked to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on. Go on Kohl's, keep treating your customers poorly. There are other stores out there we can use.
