The single room gender neutral bathroom door was propped open with the attached doorstop. The employees gave me the stink eye when I went to put it up to use the restroom like I was doing something incorrect (I did prop it back open after I was done even though I had to touch it with my hands, forcing me to wash them again). Employees weren't verbally rude or anything but they weren't even "customer service" fake nice and it made me feel extremely unwelcome. Fortunately for both myself and the employees that didn't want me there, I'll avoid coming in the future.

The inside of the store is super clean and provides customers with so many options in one stop. There is a full service gas station with your typical snacks and fountain drinks, but there are also additional services that make this location unique from other gas stations. There is a small stand that offers freshly baked Cinnabon products, and they are outstanding! My friends and I split a box of 6 full sized cinnamon rolls for $14, making it under $5 for each of us to have 2 rolls. I think that's reasonable!! Also inside, there were also aisles of Michigan-related souvenirs, such as keychains, hats, sweatshirts, etc. The restrooms were clean, so that is always a "plus"! In general, if you are in the area or need to stop while passing through, I highly recommend this Pilot Travel Center location as a "one-stop" to meet all your needs!

Also, the front windshield interior still has spots on it. It seems like they gave the dash and everything else a quick wipe down, but didn't use Armor All or anything else. Also did not vacuum between the front seats.... Not worth $30. But I did get it for 'only' $15 and I guess you can only do so much in 10 minutes.

Let's put this Speedway station on the Yelp map, shall we?…read more It is new. It is clean. It looks a lot like some of the other Speedway locations that have been built/rebuilt recently. I stopped in because of a billboard I saw about 10 miles south along I-196. It said 'diesel lanes', so I knew that I could get in and out with my big rig. They are about a block east of the expressway, just past the Pilot. I took the right turn lane and it was on my immediate left. Easy in, I parked just past the fuel pumps and off to one side. Since this is new, it is relatively spotless, both inside and out. I walked in from the back door and everything was bright, modern and up to date. It was so new, I'll bet some of the food and drink items didn't even have expiration dates yet (grin)! They have limited transient parking for big rigs, maybe 10 spots in all. No showers are available. Right next to K&R Trucks, a local truck and trailer sales and service company.
