I have been coming here for DECADES! I was impressed during my last visit that they have really streamlined and modernized the operation. I used to collect the skee ball tickets all summer long waiting to get some great prize only to find out that precious tickets had been lost. Now everything goes straight on a little card. We played skee ball, whack a mole, some of the other silly little games. When we had some questions there was a man there who was attentively and kindly helping us. The setting right on the boardwalk can't be beat. I feel badly that this establishment received negative reviews. It is just good family fun here. read more

Ye old boardwalk arcade- and I love it. This was the part of our mini Cape May get away trip that most reminds me of my childhood. I love strolling along the boardwalk looking in and out of shops that were just closing up for the end of the season and stumbling upon others robustly open for business still. There were a number of people in this arcade playing slots, pinball machine's, skeetball, shooting basketball hoops, playing pool Kino, winning all kinds of carnival toys and machines with metallic arms. We won tickets but we decided to leave them for the next person. Plenty of change machines around which you stored away by borrowing big plastic cups for your coins and signs admonished you to return the cups when you're done. It's really a self-serve kind of operation with lots of wonderful sounds of fun permeating the air. Nothing like an arcade to make you feel your youth again, which feels so good in the sun filled autumnal day at noon time but not so good in the evening hours of my return to my 56 year old aches and pains. But it sure was fun and I don't regret a minute of the laughter and the challenges of each game we played. read more

It's a cute, small arcade full of awesome games! I like its old fashioned style building and the variety of games that they have. And if you have little ones, they have kiddie rides here too! I remember back in the day they used to use the paper tickets and tokens just like the good old days, but now they use electronic tickets and e-cards. While I also like e-cards and electronic tickets (which is actually good for the environment), I miss the paper tickets and tokens. Assuming that this is the owner (lady in wheelchair), sitting around making sure none of the kids are just "sitting" on the rides. "You can't sit there, what if someone wants to use it?!" Come on, really? All the parents are on the same playing field as other parents and will not walk away from a ride if a child is simply sitting on it while it is not moving. They will ask to use it, the child gets off....case closed. Very upsetting that she behaves like this in such a place...... read more

I always come here every time I come to Cape May! It's a fun, noisy arcade right on the boardwalk. It's a bit loud, but the deals are great, tickets are easy to earn, and the games are really fun!! Some of the prizes are a little cheap, but some of them are worth your while, so you have to choose wisely. I enjoy skee ball the most - it used to be 25 cents for a game, now it's 50 cents, but it's still a good deal because you get 9 balls. read more

This place is an odd one. It's undeniably fun. But don't make the mistake of thinking it's a stereotypical arcade with the latest video games. This is an old fashioned boardwalk amusement center with skee-ball, a few video games and lots of strange and interesting skill games. A few kiddie rides sit outside and there is a snack bar attached to it that serves ice cream, french fries, pizza, burgers and sandwiches. I'm 90% sure it's the same business. You'll feel like you were transported back in time when you walk into this place. The only reason I have to shave off a couple of stars is a number of games don't work and the place looks like it could use a good cleaning. But for some I suppose that might add to the kitschy charm. Definitely a place to stop if you happen to be walking by (and since it's on the beach, that's likely) but I wouldn't go out of my way to find it. read more

Owner yells at children who are playing on rides after they spent an hour inside the arcade playing games and also spent money riding the rides. If she wants to bring in more business, she should be encouraging the use of her equipment, not demeaning the few customers she has. Very rude owner. Would not go back and would not recommend to anyone visiting Cape May. read more

The crypt keeper owner who moves about in her wheelchair with her Wicked Witch of the West heels (and personality) pushing herself throughout the arcade is a nightmare. Today, on a hot Sunday afternoon, I bought my 8yr old son in here with only one other family with 2 kids playing games in the whole place. While my son was playing skeeball, my mom and I sat down at the electronic poker machine to feed my 4 month old daughter a bottle. Mind you, no one was even in the place let alone sitting down to play electronic poker in the far back corner. Out creeps the miserable owner and tells us that the game is for players only. We tell her that my son is playing skeeball right next to us and we're just sitting to feed the baby. She reply's with "that's a shame, but this is a business" Thank God that my son was almost out of money on his e-card so he could collect his choice of absolute crap for prizes. The man behind the counter was nice and told us we could save our tickets for the next time. I let him know that there would be no next time and we'd take the 2 lame prizes and never come back. Really sad too because I spent every summer as a kid going to that arcade and could only imagine the fortune my parents dumped in there just to come back and be so disgusted by a miserable old lady. I wish there was an option to give it zero stars because that's what that lady and her "business" deserve. read more

Never thought that I could write a negative review to a business, especially when it's located 3 blocks away from my restaurant, but when it comes to my 6 year old being yelled at by a stranger, I can't help myself. My daughter was with me at my place having lunch and decided to go down the block for ice cream , and then slowly walking we found ourselves at the beach. My daughter saw the arcade place that we used to go to since she was 1, and decided to go in, which I told her that we need to go back for cash ( surely they don't take no credit cards- and don't tell me anything. My family owns a whole bunch of shore restaurants and we know the whole deal about fees and whatever merchant service costs to a business, however sometimes it's about courtesy and convenience to customer rather then few cents to save-we never had a minimum and always took all major cards). However not telling anyone how to run their business. I would go back and get cash. For 2 min I got caught in a phone conversation while my daughter was hanging outside on the little rides they have. Suddenly she runs to me with tears in her eyes saying that the old lady yelled at her. When I came up to the lady to ask what was going on, her words: this is private property, you need to put 50 cents in the rides to be there. Fair enough... But somehow I don't think me or my kid would ever want to go back to this place. Dear small business owners! Please if you ever have to address child's inappropriate( not sure this is the case here) behavior- address it to the parent, not child,and do it in a polite(!) way! Great customer service is one of our great advantages. Otherwise stop complaining big corporations took over! read more
