This is exactly the type of place I think of when I want to go thrifting. There is stuff in every nook and cranny and I probably made about 4-5 rounds throughout the whole place. The owner was very kind and had a beautiful cat that followed me around for a bit lol I spent $78 and got SO many treasures! If it were closer, I would go every week. I will be back here for sure. May Jesus bless this place and the owner for being so helpful. If you love to thrift, Stop here and you won't regret it!

My shopping experiences have been good but I've never felt so unappreciated donating. My mom, a…read morenonsmoker, passed away and probably like most people in this position, they donate to local thrift stores. I first brought a couple boxes of teapots she had stored in her garage. After going through the donation drive thru I decided to take a trip inside and look around. They were immediately putting those teapots into a glass case in the store. As the women was putting them out I mentioned they were my mom's who had just passed away and she went on a tirade about how filthy they were and she had to wash them. She made me feel horrible but the funny thing is when I stopped there a week later they were all gone, sold! On another donate day, I had bags of mom's clothes and a few boxes of housewares, hard goods. When the guy outside noticed I was smoking in my car, he refused to take any of it, which was in my trunk. He said it all stunk like smoke and they didn't want it!! How it came directly from my mom's house and picked up smoke odor that quickly is beyond me. I went across the street to Goodwill and they took it all and thanked me. I have vastly changed my opinion of this store and am sorry I have ever donated anything there. I'm sure they made good money on all they things donated from mom, including furniture that they had no problem accepting.

Worth the stop - 4 stars…read more Pine Creek is an antique store right on the main drag in the old town part of North Branch. It's a lot bigger than it looks like on the outside. The whole thing is shaped like a giant "L" and it actually has 2 separate entrances. This is a traditional mall type antique store with multiple vendors. The store also has quite a few "house" items that are owned by the store. The reason I know this is because the item I picked wasn't marked and they happened to mention that it's a house piece when they were trying to figure out the price. The shop is well organized, clean, and displayed nicely. The prices all seem super reasonable. And the staff members are nice people. I had a pleasant chat with the owners about the long history of the building...very interesting. One of the main things I like about this place is it actually has antiques! There are very few new items. By far, nearly everything is what I'd consider antique or vintage. One notable exception is a vendor that seems to be preoccupied with Christmas items, most of which looked like modern products. Not my thing but I suppose there are people that dig this. Nothing of interest for us this trip, but for people looking for second hand baby goods, this place had it. Baby stuff galore. High Chairs, toys, clothes etc. There was a young boy and his mom picking out a game together. It's nice to see people reusing people's unwanted goods. I guess that's one of the cool things about thrift stores seeing once loved goods going to someone else who is excited about getting it.

I found a baseball mitt shaped chip bowl with no price. I offered $1 and cashier accepted it. This book pictured was written in 1958 and predates "Where the red fern grows." I've received over 200 likes on a Facebook group page. So score! Also found a ceramic pig I didn't need for $1. It's nice to shop Thrift stores not in the metro, as prices sometimes cheaper. Always buy it when you see it. A newer version of this book is on Amazon. Your next treasure may be waiting for you here.
