Marci was able to fit us in on a Wednesday afternoon which was wonderful, the last kids hair cut place I tried has a 2 week out wait time. She was great with Chris, did the haircut exactly as requested. She even offered tips due to how his hair is parted so I had her do what she thought was best and he looked fantastic. First and last time I come here. Took my daughter to get her hair dyed for the first time. My daughters hair is short shoulder length and was charged $200 for highlights which the lady said she was gonna do but also do the rest of the hair and that's what we didn't get. Her hair is already fading and the bottom looks blondish. Only thing I liked was that they were nice besides the burning part she didn't think to mention when she was charging me. Would've been 1 star but I was a walk in, and the hairdresser was very friendly- if not as skilled as she should be. Maybe DONT take walk-ins if this is the result when someone asks for "straight across please." I guess "straight across" means something different if you have an appointment? I like the fact that the haircuts are always done the way we want them. The wife and kids always look great. The whole atmosphere is friendly and professional. We usually have Cristina R cut our hair and have always been more than pleased. The salon is always clean and organized. The staff is polite and the price include a shampoo and conditioner rinse. This place is great! Someone at a work conference recommended this salon (she had a cute short haircut!) so I gave it a shot. $16 for a wash and cut is a great price and the service is awesome. Christina R. is really good at classy a-line cuts, so ask for her if you want something short with an attitude! The only reason I took a star off is because they are closed on Sundays, which is normal for a salon, but they are geared towards families so I expected Sunday hours. read more

waiting in line for my hair cut - lady comes by with no adpiontment for a perm takes her right in -- what the HELL --

This place is awful. I went on a weekday about a month ago and there were only two women in the salon and one customer. I used to go to this salon way back when it was known as HS salon. I have been growing my hair out which is a very long process. I went in just to have a 1/2 inch trim off the ends. I told the hairdresser I wanted a 1/2 inch trim on the ends of my hair. She then asked me if I wanted any layers or "dimension" to my hair. I told her "no all I want is a 1/2 inch trim evenly all around" The hairdresser then proceeded to cut my hair, and when leaving the salon and getting home and assessing my hair I see that the hairdresser barely trimmed the ends of my hair in the front and in the back she cut off at least 2 inches, so I now have an a-line style cut. She cut my hair the way that she wanted because she likes that style and refused to listen to what the customer wanted. Now every time I look at my hair I get upset and angry at this hairdresser because I've spent two years growing out my hair from a pixie style cut and she lopped off way more of my hair than I asked. I wish I could remember her name to post on here to warn whoever comes here...but I don't remember it. She was a small framed blonde girl. read more
