(Now I'll advise to go elsewhere.) Recently their office staff has begun harassing me by voice mail and text, threatening to cancel my appointments if they don't get a "verbal confirmation" that I'll show up for an appointment that I've made. I've had multiple calls during working hours, I even had 2 voicemails today! Including the texts I've received, they've contacted me over a half a dozen times in a short period of time for this last appointment. This is a rescheduled appointment mind you- they called ME 2 hours before my last appointment to cancel on me. ( With no 75$ or whatever they charge for cancelling with less than 24 hours notice coming my way. ) They then offered to reschedule me a few days later, as if I didn't have to prearrange time off work. It wasn't the first time they've done this, and with no ill will from me. Truly. Stuff happens. Heaven FORBID I don't contact them in advance BY PHONE to confirm upcoming appointments however. When I asked the poor soul who answered the phone today how many appointments I'd missed in my over 20 years of history there , she acknowledged that I've never missed one. So why am I being harassed? Well, other people have missed their appointments.... Not good enough. "We've noticed an increase in people missing appointments, and the fee is pretty high"...Not good enough. Charge them the fee, and leave me alone. When I asked them to remove my phone number from my account so they don't harass me in the future, I was told they would cancel all future appointments if they "can't get ahold of you for a verbal confirmation". Ummm you have my email address. You send plenty of stuff there ... "We have to have a Verbal confirmation." It's a "corporate policy". I stated that meant only people who could afford to have a phone deserved to have dental care. I pressed them, and asked if that was what they meant- they tried repeatedly to say it was a "corporate policy" before finally saying "yes". Ummm.... No. The availability of a phone is NOT A REQUIREMENT TO RECIEVE HEALTHCARE!! And yes. Dental care is healthcare. When I said I confirmed the MULTIPLE texts they've sent - I even sent screenshots - I was told the text system - "isn't working". Okay...1) why do I get multiple texts from a non-working system? And 2) that's my problem why???? If it's not working, you fix that problem. You don't create a written-in-stone policy that requires action from all of your patients due to the system you use not functioning. I was told they couldn't email me, as the system wasn't working ( along with their texting system). My request ( read as demand) for the District Manager to call me wasn't realized. I spoke to the office before 2pm, with no response from their District Manager. Funny how they can't be bothered to call me as PART of their job, yet I'm required to call them during my working hours or face consequences. My request for the District Manager's contact information was refused, noting it was "corporate policy" not to give it out. They would have to email her - which prompted the question "so you do have functioning email?". "You just told me a minute ago your text and email systems didn't work". No (to me) valid responses were provided to that question. So goodbye Sativa. Goodbye Dr. Dominguez... I'll truly miss both of you. You've provided me with excellent care over the years. I just wish you weren't aligned with the corporate entity that is Perfect Teeth. The two of you deserve better... And so do I. I'll be there tomorrow at 9 am for my appointment, if only to request a copy of my records and to say goodbye in person. He got me in and told me that he was going to make the crown himself and let me see it first and if I didn't like it then he would send out to have it made professionally. BUT he decided on own without allowing me to see the tooth that it was good enough and he cemented it on without even letting me see it. The tooth was huge and didn't match my other teeth and didn't fit well in the spot. It hurt really bad for 6 months. I went back a few times and he got mad about it. At the 6 months cleaning I explained it still hurt. He dismissed me. I have now finally been able to go to another dentist (a year later) who noticed right away that it was irritated and that it had a huge clump of cement that was not cleaned off. I guess if you are only going for a cleaning this place is fine but if you need anything serious beware. He is an asshole when you don't agree with him and try to tell him how YOU feel about YOUR OWN MOUTH.

Med Spa? It hits you in the face when you walk in. How about just dentistry? 2. My first experience they used some sort of plaque laser that I later was charged for because it wasn't covered. I had never heard of this treatment before, and I'm not entirely sure it's of significant value. 3. I was told that I needed to have a 360 scan of my mouth or head for today's appointment - that it's a requirement of the doctor to provide care. This scan is only 50% covered by most insurance, including mine, resulting in a $100+ out of pocket bill. 4. This is the same practice that billed me for a bunch of DeFazio's work when HE was my dentist. I told them I'm NEVER going to pay those invoices. Long story short: They have quality dentists and hygienists, but the business is a money-grubbing enterprise that will stop at nothing to sell you additional services, many of which have nothing to do with dentistry. I found it extremely off-putting. I just want a dentist to make sure my teeth are healthy. I don't want all that crap. He's going to get $0 from me from now on.

Now, he went in mainly to get his teeth cleaned and when they found out that he hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and that he had a dead wisdom tooth in need of removal, they decided to not only NOT clean his teeth, but give him a laundry list of things they wanted him to come in for which totaled, in 10ish visits, out to about $16,050 or so all the while knowing we don't have insurance. They then scheduled another appointment next day after the original appointment for I don't even remember which of those things on that list they said he needed to come in for. The only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because as far as I was told they did do the X-rays and "exam" which would be looking at the X-rays, asking questions, and telling him what they see and their thoughts. That's about it though. Also when I was talking to the front desk lady about payment for what they did do, she tried to charge about $105, so full price for not even doing the cleaning part, and when I told her I'm not paying full price for them not doing all the work promised by their website, she then told me I could pay $75 instead and I was going to but she made it seem like they'd already charged the $105 to my account so I told her that I couldn't pay both at the same time, only one or the other, but I think she misunderstood what I was trying to say because I probably didn't word it in a way that she could understand so she told me that I didn't need to pay but I couldn't go back, and my thought was that I didn't want to go back if they were just gonna try to take me for all I'm worth again. I live paycheck to paycheck like most do these days and it's hard to fit in important things like health related appointments with what little extra we can spare for them and I was expecting him to go in, get his cleaning and then we pay around $99 and go on our way, but these people decided that they wouldn't make it that easy. This was back on June 12th 2025, I've been meaning to review but time got away from me so I'm posting it now that I have a chance while I'm thinking about it. It was a frustrating situation. I know that his teeth need more work but all I asked for was a cleaning. The least they could have done was clean his teeth to the best of their ability and I'd have been fine with that, paid the bill and taken their list into consideration. Plain and simple. We've had frequent fillings, deep cleanings, regular cleanings, and every experience has been excellent. Pricing is fair, and everyone is so personable and kind. We were longtime patients of Dr. Abeyta, so I was nervous about the transition, but Dr. Snyder has been amazing. She takes time with patients, explains options clearly, and never makes us feel rushed or pushed to spend money unnecessarily. The hygienists and front desk staff are wonderful too. We will not go anywhere else!
