However, when I first met Aung (Dr.), I was thoroughly impressed. Please note I am tough to please:). I have a high power and so does my son so it's important to me that there is some expert that is watching out for the health of our eyes. For the first time in 27 years (since I came to USA), I felt that my eyes are in good care and that Dr. Aung would not let anything bad happen to our eyes. My daughter (who lives in London) also gets her checkups/glasses through them. Besides Aung, Dena and Lauren are also great. Over the years, it feels like we are part of the family. I trust them 100% w/ their recommendations as it's never about money but rather caring for the patients. Since I found them, I have recommended all my friends to their practice (family-run). The best thing - they respond to my texts even when it's as trivial as me forgetting my scarf in their office;) THank you Aung, Dena and Lauren. You guys truly rock!!

I was nervous about visiting a new eye doctor, especially since my prescription was outdated, but my appointment went very well! I filled out a simple new patient form, got right in with the doctor's assistant, and then saw Dr. Bill shortly after finishing my initial eye tests. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he even took the time to help me pick out my frames after my checkup! I appreciated his great sense of humor and his willingness to chat with me throughout my appointment. There's just simply not another doctor like him. He went to my mom's funeral who was also a long time patient - I'm guessing this isn't something he does often, but his schedule allowed it this time, and he made it happen. My dad and I were truly touched. His office staff is also outstanding. Dr. C. is funny, knowledgable, and goes out of his way. I will be super bummed, to say the least, when he retires. Not many places carry Silhouette frames (rimless) anymore, but Naperville Optical has a full selection, which is what brought me there in the first place about 8 years ago. They have been willing to, at no extra charge, customize the size and shape of my lenses. They have not tried to talk me into buying new frames when I have old frames (previously bought there) that I'd rather use. As an extremely picky glasses wearer, I have refused to even consider buying anywhere else since buying my first pair of glasses with them. They are very responsive and treat me like family. Dr Yun is thorough and has the latest equipment. She does all the testing herself. There was a slight change to my Rx. Calvin was very helpful and assisted me with selecting the perfect pair of glasses. My insurance offered a great discount and I'll be stopping back for a new pair of sunglasses soon. My new glasses were ready in 8 business days. I need to have a secondary cataract removed next week and I suspect my vision will improve even more.
