Well first...if you have to use the restroom, don't step foot in here thinking they have one available. How am I supposed to shop for shoes if I have to pee!!?? Then when I ask the clerk she says...."no, we don't have a public restroom. You can go next door if you want................" No thanks. Lost a shoe sale from me. purchased in store..shoes did not fit. I returned them to the store and they ordered a bigger size to ship to my house. Paid with my visa on both. I didnt hear anything about my order so I called. Apparently they don't have them in stock even though their system says they do and the only way I can get my money back is via check in 1 month. DO NOT allow them to order in store for you! if you don't get them or they don't fit good luck getting your money back. Horrible business practice. never again will they get a dime from me! Just went on the companies website and low and behold same complaint over and over. And businesses wonder why the Amazon's of the world are running them out of business. Firstly, my family has large feet, large wide feet. It's hereditary ok. Did I mention also a foot sensitivity? you know, like the line across the socks? I have searched and searched for shoes in several locations (I like S. Cty mall best) of Famous and believe me I WANT to find shoes to like, comfortable, durable. So far, searching their stores for over a year this has not happened. Also, I would really hate to disturb the not so helpful sales associates ONLY at this location. I get emails from Famous with really cute shoes when I go to the store they never have them to try on, bummer. I always end up at Shoe Carnival where they deliver! *this is not a paid, coerced and no family or friends work there advertisement (-; I just tell it like I've experienced it. Okay so me and my s/o came in tonight to get us some new t-shoes, when we first walked in we were met by a girl and guy associate, as we started shopping and looking around I noticed the male associate kept coming over to the women's section while my bf was trying to help me decide on witch pair I should get. (Because guys shop waaaay faster then us gals.) anyways as this male associate kept coming back to where we were, I almost felt like he was "watching us" he was so close at one point when I had my back to him I felt uncomfortable, anyways my bf asked him if he was "alright" and he let out this obnoxious deep breath and walked away..... we finally got up to the counter to check out and he was super sarcastic. I did not have a good experience at this location what's so ever!!! I shop at famous footwear pretty frequently and this was by far the WORST experience. I never yelp a review, even if I do think my experience was bad just because (you don't really know what that person has been through that day, to make them act that way.) however this I felt needed to be public. read more
