Had two lengthy conversations prior to sending it in because I had been forewarned on how they operated. I was reassured in both conversations. They received the gun and sat on it for over a month. They provided a quote that exceeded the value of the gun which included numerous items I did not ask for - and that I had clarified I did not want done before sending it in. I was put on a long hold by Derrick who spoke to supervisor Mike (initially refusing to provide their names), who then came back and refused to do any of the items I had asked for unless I paid the high tax! Ironically they were predicating the tax on the idea that the gun might require repairs somewhere off in the future..isn't that the case with anything? Based on principle I have them returning the gun as is and I am $150 in shipping and their "fee for the quote". Funny, while on hold the infomercial described the Citori as the "Workhorse" of the Browning line - and further that it is typically said it "wears in..not out". Firearms and hunting sports have been a central component of outdoor recreation for generations. By removing these products from your shelves, Dick's has alienated a significant portion of its customer base--people who engage in legal, responsible shooting sports, hunting, and self-defense. Caving to ideological pressures may win short-term headlines, but it erodes the trust and loyalty of long-standing customers who came to Dick's specifically because it was a one-stop shop for all sporting needs--including firearms. This decision is not only disappointing, it's a clear departure from what your brand originally stood for. If Dick's no longer intends to support the full range of traditional sporting goods, then perhaps it's time to reconsider the name on the front of the store.

I got the shoes, opened the REAX and they are worn, dirty and stained. There is white paint or something similar on the bottoms, on the side and top, there is what looks like splattered Cola or coffee. The laces are dirty and the inside of the shoe has fuzz and dirt. I IMMEDIATELY called the Manchester store and "Wayne" answered in the shoe department. He was 10,000% extremely unhelpful, rude and very off putting with his attitude. He blamed it on the delivery service I used, my response was they dont work for Academy, they are a delivery company. He then says well what do you want me to do about it? So I hung up and called to talk to a manager. The manager "James" was worse than the first guy, so apparently I was going to get no where with him either. So here I am, stuck with worn, dirty Nikes that I paid 100$ for! NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY NOR WILL I EVER SPEND ONE MORE CENT WITH THEM.....​​
