Dealing with this company for an online purchase was not a good experience. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ordered a pair of wingtips. Apparently their fulfillment system "corrected" the shipping address and when FedEx could not deliver to the incorrect address, the shoes went back to Allen Edmonds. Telephoned customer service to report the problem and get the address confusions squared away. Since the first order was closed as a result of the FedEx return to sender, they had to place a new order, which was done by phone rather than online. On the day that the shoes were to arrive, they didn't, so I phoned Allen Edmonds and was told that the address got automatically "corrected" again. I've now been billed TWICE and still no shoes.

The staff member helping me tried to help me by putting an order in, but it wasn't working. She took the time to call customer service which I very much appreciated. I ended up not being able to exchange because I didn't have the card I purchased them on (my bad) so I ended up returning them with my receipt. Luckily, the shoes I ordered fit and they became mine. This store is incredibly messy and the workers are rude. It's also dirty in certain pockets. I think the value of going in store is picking up a variety of shoes that are not going to get to you as quickly as through Amazon and being able to try them on in person. That said, I would be wary of coming here without a plan of what you are looking for because the employees will not be helpful. Love the shoes I picked up though.

The selection is so vast, I can not figure out why anyone would buy their CH at a department store of other specialty shoe store when you a direct source right here. In addition to great shoes and boots, they have messenger bags, duffel's, belts, socks and shoe laces. Selling shoe laces is a big point for me. Have you noticed how some shoe stores sell you a pair of shoes with laces and when you want an extra pair of laces, they tell you they don't sell laces. Not here, they've got'em and they have them in a variety of colors to match your shoes. Prices may be higher then your typical "shoe store", but you are getting what you pay for and that is a classic well made product. My Cole Haan shoes seem to last for ever and I am hard on shoes. I watch for sales and periodically treat myself to a full priced pair, when I just can not resist the temptation. Which may be very soon, since I found a pair that are screaming, "buy me, buy me". Dorothy had her "Ruby Slippers", so why shouldn't Steven B have his "Orange Loafers". Orange is my signature color. The entire sales staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The merchandising is always top-notch and the service is excellent. I tried on a couple of styles and ultimately went with a silver, pointed toed loafer, a perfect transition item for fall. I could tell that the store was a little bit short staffed, as there was only one person bringing out the shoes and ringing up customer, but that hiccup aside, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I also learned that there will be a Cole Haan coming to Chicago...likely in 2018...to replace the Mag Mile location that closed for remodeling earlier this year. Worth the wait!

I recently got these boots and they've now turned into my favorite pair. Over the holidays, I went to a bar and my heel got stuck in the vent. Not once but twice in the same night! Suffice to say, the heels were wrecked! I already knew I would need the bottom repaired but wasn't sure if anything could be done about the scuffs on the heel since I've never been able to have them repaired before. I usually take them to the cobbler on Olive, but after the reading the reviews for this location and people commenting on him restoring the part of the heel I needed, I decided to give them a shot. Upon walking in, I noticed it had a similar layout to the one in Creve Coeur except it's bigger. They have a ton of various items from boot inserts, shoe stretchers, polish, and etc. Craig came out and asked how he could help. I explained that these were my favorite pair of boots and asked about getting the heel fixed. He said he could take care of it no problem, but then took it a step further and mentioned how he could probably clean the heel up as well! I was excited and intrigued, especially since no one has ever been able to do it before. He quoted me at $25.00 (paid upfront), told me what the service would entail, gave me my receipt, and said I could pick it up Tuesday. So Tuesday came and I went to pick them up. When he handed them to me, I was in utter shock. Not only did he fix the heel BUT he managed to repair the leather on the heel and eliminate the scuffs, tears, and stains. I thanked him profusely because I was so happy with what he had done. Being the humble guy he is, he said it wasn't a big deal and insists he could have done a better job. Craig literally brought my boots back to life and did it in record time! Additionally, I have the utmost respect for him since he works alone! I can't wait to have him work on more heels and boots. I can't recommend him enough.
