This past week, Thursday or Friday, I came into the store to pick up a purchase I had made online…read more It was for the Triple S sneakers, which cost $1,028 with tax. I ended up not liking the color-way I had purchased so I was able to pick another color they had in stock. I was sitting in the middle lounge area the whole time, and the SA took the shoes I wanted to exchange to the back to ring them up. At no time did she let me know of the return policy (which apparently is not the same as the one stated on the website). Today I came back in to return the sneakers all together because I felt they were too big for my frame. Though I should not have to explain why I want to return something to the sales associate. A different woman was in the store and she told me that I could not return them for a full refund, (though it is stated otherwise on Balenciaga's website) and that I could only get store credit for the return. This should have been told to me before I purchased the shoes in the first place. The SA took me to the back and showed me a small plaque where the boutique's return policy is stated. The problem is, that I never once was shown this, nor did I go back there because I was sitting in the lounge area the whole time, as the first SA took my item to the back herself to ring it up. Now I am stuck with a store credit and can't even use it online. I hate that I will have to give one of the knuckleheads working at this location the commission on whatever item I purchase with the store credit. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I've been following these boys from their days at Status, and every season, somehow they find a way to keep leveling up. Be sure to subscribe to the Private Selection page on YouTube because that's where Chef Ian + the crew leak all the heat before it drops in-store. In viral times like these, all PCH swag support staff dons dripping face masks to ensure the health and safety of all their streetwear patrons. If you're at the Galleria look for the line stretching out the door on the 3rd floor directly above Grand Luxe, the boys at PCH-LA will take good care of you. I'm Asian and maybe don't look like the stereotypical AE shopper but there's no need for the up and down looks. When I went to front to collect my online order, they (this blonde girl) kept asking me to verify my identity even after showing them the email. (Why?) Okay, sure maybe it's their job to ask like 4 times. Maybe I'm reading into too much. Then after, I asked if I could go try on the clothes to make sure it was all fine. The lady rudely said "Yeah sure but I'm gonna mark it as picked up so if something doesn't work you're gonna have to just to a return." with a rude undertone and didn't even show me where the fitting rooms were, I had no clue I just wandered around looking for it. She also seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes at me. Like sorry I want to make sure the stuff I get actually fits before leaving? At other AE stores, they typically let me try it on then if everything's okay, they'll mark it as picked up. And they're actually nice about it!!! Even if this is right way to do it and the other stores have been doing it wrong, there's no need to be rude. The shorts I tried on were too big so I went to return them, when I got out of the changing room, all the employees left and I stood at the check out line for like 10 minutes before looking for someone. I get if you're having a rough day but don't take it out on people just trying to go about their lives, please. There's no need to ruin others days too.

I sent them the product and then they took about two months only to come back and say the return is denied because the item is not new with tags. So they don't stand behind their quality and they don't care about customer satisfaction. Don't waste your money. They think they can stand behind a reputation that was built on values that they no longer uphold. It's like a bait and switch.
