House of hoops only has four locations in dfw. They are much more organized then the Northpark…read morestore. I went to buy some shoes that were being released over a weekend. I was able to get in and out in less then twenty minutes. They can scan the shoes and tell you whether or not they have your size in stock. The service here was great and the store is well lit and very clean. The major difference with a house of hoops store is they often carry a larger variety of colorways that many other stores just don't seem to have. They also have tons of accessories if that's your type of thing. You can always find those hard to find exclusive releases here and they have a points based card also. Once you spend over certain amounts they will mail you coupons to save on your future purchases.

Very expensive store inside the Galleria but the prices here are not the most perplexing thing. I really don't understand the significance of all the photographs of models with camels and alpacas. I think animal cruelty people might have a problem with it too but specifically how so many of my pictures get pulled down which are of business products or are taken inside a business, whereas these which don't really showcase anything that this Gucci had on sale whatsoever - not a single item I don't think - and were taken of models who have never been in this particular Gucci store, probably thousands of miles away from this Gucci store. Anyway it's a very expensive store with very high end stuff and you're much better off trying to find discount prices online or going to some kind of an outlet or sale. I was intrigued off the bat though when I entered the store. There was a sneaker artist doing her thing with a bedazzlement of Swakorski crystals, etc, getting some shoes ready for the limelight! Walking around, they had a unique selection of bags, jackets, pants and other clothing that lived up to the bedazzled shoes. Things literally fitting for a rock star... Looking at a few price tags quickly told me I would need to be a rockstar to afford an outfit here. The pants I liked, $880.00. The shirt I wanted to go with them, $780.00. Some sneakers, $1650.00. But don't forget the jacket, the one I wanted was only $4060.00. All great and unique, if not one of a kind stuff, but stuff clearly out of my league. My reality was that I would have to BE a rockstar to afford these things. I will say this though, the staff here was attentive and provided great service, even as I realized I was out of my league.
