I decided to give this spot a shot after reading the reviews, and I'm glad I did. The service was well done and never felt rushed. Most importantly, I was treated with kindness and respect. I didn't have to advocate for myself once--my tech was attentive to my needs and respectful throughout the appointment. I was completely relaxed and left with nails I love. I did regular polish instead of gel because that's what came with the spa day that I'd purchased. The nails were shaped and cleaned expertly, but I should have gone for a buff. Full disclaimer: I haven't done regular nail polish in YEARS, I have been an SNS person, but never having been here before, I preferred to withhold judgment (and $$) until I knew the quality of work that was done. This was a mistake. I don't know if I think it was an accident, but this was some of the worst polishing I've ever had in my life. The fan that she had me using made my polish wavy on the tips and when she moved me to the back to the drying station, it dried sideways and the polish basically shifted on the nail bed. She did two of the nails again, but ALL of them look terrible and it's been one day. Overall, not impressed with the regular manicure. Having been a customer of nail salons for a very long time, I would not be surprised that this was a deliberate ploy to get me to upgrade my services, but she never asked! The spa is lovely, the pedicure chairs and comfortable, deep, and private and the massage function works beautifully. The polish colors and offerings are expansive, and they do offer wine with services. If I go back, I will try the SNS with another nail tech. My pedicure is fabulous, but I'm taking off my polish tonight. In truth, my nails will still look good - the manicure itself was fine- but it wasted a ton of time and I didn't enjoy that aspect.
