First employee was super rough "shaping" my toenails (looked like they had just been hacked at) and left the skin near my cuticles bleeding. Asked for a different employee to finish up, and the first employee held my toe (???) and talked heatedly in another language. Second employee worked on my toes about 60 seconds, leaving me bleeding in a DIFFERENT spot (see attached photo). When I asked for a discount and said I just wanted to leave, they first insisted the bleeding was MY fault for being pregnant, then said they HAD to cut my toenail so poorly because it was ingrown (it was not). Not to mention the polish was so sloppy I could have done better with my left hand. Left bleeding and in tears! Definitely never going back! read more

I've been coming here for years and have always been happy. I don't normally leave reviews. Frankly I was surprised at the negative reviews so I wanted to leave my feedback. Yes it's an older place but there has never been any foul odors and I have a heightened sense of smell. They have always been super friendly and have always done excellent work on both regular and gel manicures and regular pedicures. They are also taking excellent precautions for COVID. They wore masks and they have a plastic partition to maintain separation during your service. Just wanted to balance out the feedback since people are less likely to leave positive feedback. So unfortunately I've gone back to this salon a few times recently, and I will not be going back. I always figured they go throw on some basic gel polish in an emergency, but they did such a shoddy job the last two times that I'm never going back. Last time I went I had so many bubbles and the top coat did not cover my full nail. I could see the lines where it didn't cover near the tip of my nail. Then this time I went in and not only do I have bubbles, but they went overkill on the thickness. My left thumb has like, a molten lava wave where gravity dripped the polish down before it was cured. And now it is cured, so I just have a misshaped nail. The polish is so think around my cuticles that one nail already peeled/chipped near the base, and it's been a day. They didn't file down the sides so I have these polish ridges that I am having to fix on my own. I specifically picked out the cat eye gel and then he didn't use the magnet to get the cat eye effect. Seriously, wtf. I'm so over this place. On top of it, the salon is starting to gross me out. All the tools come from a drawer and still have prior client's nail/acrylic powder on them, so there is no way it is hygenic. The owner guy has like, ulcerated callouses or something on his fingers that look like either creepy ulcers or plantar's warts. I try not to judge a man that has worked so hard he literally has sores on his hands, but I can't tell if they are just callouses or warts, and I don't want to worry about catching something when he could just throw of some gloves or some Band-Aids. Don't go here. You're better than this. I'm better than this, and I knew it, and I walked in anyway because I was in a hurry and I thought ...How bad can it be? The fish tank is dirty. That's a sign. There is a smell that everyone has probably gotten used to because this place is so old. I'm sorry; I often find an older establishment charming, but not older odors. I downgraded my requested gel mani to clear polish because I couldn't take it, and now it's the middle of the night and I have to take the clear polish off because despite it being twelve hours later, despite rubbing Dawn dish gel right into my nails to try to fix it, the damn polish smells?! It's old. It's bad. Like unhappy fish and dirty soup. I'm so sorry. They are very nice, but I'd like to buy everyone there a drink and tell them gently that they have richly deserved their own retirement. Please. read more

I called an hour ahead to ask how busy they were and if I could do a soak-off of my acrylics. They mentioned they closed at 6 and stop taking clients at 5. Completely understandable, time management. I walk in at 4p to get my nails soaked off and I'm rejected and asked to leave because "soak-off takes a long time" and they have people coming in in 10 minutes. I'm honestly appalled because soaking off acrylic (in past experiences) means I sit in a chair not needing anyones attention until the very end. Would not recommend. read more

The place was dirty, I'm talking hair, dust and nail clippings on the floor, the lady who did my nails was on the phone the whole time. I was the only person in there and there was no music playing so it was awkwardly silent. Tools did not appear to be cleaned between each use either. I recently moved back to Spokane from Seattle and at the place I went to in Seattle , my gel nails lasted for 3 weeks every time, and these chipped in less than 1 week. This is my second pedicure at this location and I have been very happy with the service. Price is reasonable and my toes look great! On my first visit, my mom was with me, and she had the mani and pedi. Her hands and toes were still looking great after a week. Will definitely be coming here again. read more

I had a pedicure here last week before leaving for a trip. I felt that the service was rushed. Also, they cut my nails way to short. I had an appointment, I was on time and still had to wait 10 minutes. If I was not going out of town I would have left. I do not have any plans of returning there. read more
