I like the guy with the British Accent. He's a pretty funny guy. Service was slow but good

Long time customer. (Around 8 years). Will never go there again because of the guy with the british? accent. I usually dealt with Scott... but he was off this day. Went in to sell a couple items, did not like the offer, so I told him I was going to see if I could get more for them elsewhere very politely. There was no malice of any kind on my end. He proceded to curse me out because he was mad I didnt want to sell it to him I guess? Or having a bad day.. no idea. But he said I shouldnt have come in, and how dare i waste his f***** time. etc, this went on for a while. my only response was.., you understand im a customer and shop here all the time right? He said he had never seen me before in his life... Just a terrible human being. He is the sole reason I do not shop there anymore. I will not enter that store again until he is fired. I spoke with the regional manager about the incident, but the fact that he is still working there after that speaks volumes. The whole incident was extremely weird. read more

First they treated me like lower class .Second they gave me no respect to me and my girlfriend. Third they didn't even give an offer for any of the items I brought in because they were in such good shape they believe it I stole it, like are you kidding me. No one can have an item in good condition when going in there. The owner which is a girl with the ugliest blue contacts is the rudest person there. I would recommend everyone AVOID this place at all costs. I can honestly say I have never met a ruder, more unprofessional staff at any business in my entire life - not to mention the stuff they have in here is complete junk. My experience at this shop involved a friend and I attempting to sell a relatively new longboard, retail value a little over $200 new. We were hoping to get at least $40 for the board, and upon being offered $10 by the store I leaned in and whispered to my friend that the offer was a "f****** joke". Anyway, I guess one of them heard my comment to my friend, and as we turned to leave the store the employees behind the counter began mocking me, with one even calling me a "*f*****g asshole" as we headed out the door. I recommend anyone looking for a pawn shop in Frederick avoid this place and instead take their business to Cole's Pawnbrokers on Market St. downtown. read more
