I was looking for a MacBook Pro and I called several stores before I got a hold of this one. He was very nice over the phone and give me all the info I needed!! I told him I was coming from Baltimore which was a 50 min drive for me. Once I got there, I was greeted with unwarranted rudeness from the door. I told him I was the one that called about the computer, I guess I didn't look like I sounded over the phone because he was no longer pleasant!! He told me the laptop was over there and abruptly places it on the counter and walks away. I asked him what the password was because it was locked, and he snaps from the opposite end of the counter "Apple with a capitol A". The password didn't work and when I told him that he said, "I don't know what to tell you!!" He said his son does the password and he's in Europe. I asked if he could get in contact with him since I made that long drive. Long story short several passwords were tried, and none worked. It wouldn't have been so bad if he just wasn't so darn rude throughout the whole process. I couldn't help but wonder if it was my complexion that got me the disrespect!! I wasted an hour and forty minutes of a drive to receive something that I wasn't able to. I asked if I could leave my number and he snap Just call me in a couple of days and that was it. No sorry that my time was wasted or anything not even a goodbye! I never felt so disrespected as a customer till I visited this store. Needless to say, I won't be calling, and I am sure he doesn't care. I even think he didn't want to sell me the laptop hence the run around and the waste of time!! I've heard that Frederick MD historically isn't nice to black folks, but this is the first time I personally felt the heat and it was VERY uncomfortable!! read more

The customer service and professionalism is amazing. They have basically everything that I have wanted at amazing prices. The owner works with you to give you fair prices for items you want to purchase as well as fair selling prices he offers for your items you want to sell or pawn. He has so much knowledge of jewelry he sells as far as name of stones, diamond quality and watches that is incredible, Also the condition and quality of the merchandise is really great. Owner Peter is an absolute d$@k. His awful temperament and the way he spoke to me will be the reason he has continued problems. I went to his store with a pocket full of gold to sell. Upon entering he began screaming because I didn't have a mask. I tried to offer to use my shirt but he over spoke me. I tried explaining to him that I had trouble breathing and he continued to talk over me and asked me to leave his store. I would not EVER spend one penny of my money with him. He needs his attitude adjusted in a bad way. He even followed me outside to continue badgering me at which point I was ready to deploy my self defense weapon. Frederick Jewelry and Loan is a great shop that always has beautiful jewelry. They also have a great layaway program and their loan rates are half of the other pawnshops I have seen around.
