It was an extreme pleasure working with Alex at Walden's Jewelers in FSK mall to upgrade my wife's diamond wedding ring. Alex is very professional and personable, with great knowledge of diamonds. Alex possesses a great talent in fitting a customer to the diamond that they are most happy with and doesn't push for the customer to buy anything other than what they really want. Alex can read a customer to determine what direction they want to go in and where their interests are. In my case, my wife was happy with one of the diamonds in the store but Alex did not get the "wow" response he was looking for. Alex researched his inventory of other diamonds available to him outside his store and found one that he thought would bring that " wow" response from my wife. He had the diamond sent to his store and my wife was so much happier with this diamond, giving Alex the "wow" that he was looking for (approx. same price as the previous diamond). Alex could have just let us buy the first diamond.. but he wanted a "very" happy customer. Throughout the processes of selection, setting in my wife wedding ring, and appraising, Alex is on top of the whole transaction and follows through to thoroughly complete each step. If you are looking to buy something and thinking the "warranty" is worth it. Just don't. I had my ring snap in half at the BASE because I picked up a CAN OF SODA. Taking it back was told that "don't worry about paying for the repair for this" then in the same sentence "I never said that it was for free." Gold apparently had "doubled" in price. Go sell them your jewelry because they must have gotten a gold pricing memo everyone else didn't. You have lost not only a customer today but everyone that I have told about this place will also be told about this experience. read more
