I recently had to redo a bathroom in my home due to a flood caused by a cracked pipe. The entire bathroom had to be demolished I was not happy about having to deal this whole project but I was pleasantly surprised by using Fancy Fixtures in Jericho to purchase all the materials I needed Ellen was my sales associate and was the ideal person to work with. She is personable , helpful, reliable and extremely talented. She helped me pick out everything I needed from tile to bathtub to shower accessories and plumbing supply. Once the order was placed, I was told to keep in touch with Chyna in customer service. She consistently updated me on the status of the order; This was extremely helpful. I dealt with Roberto at the warehouse to pick up some of the smaller items and he was incredibly nice and helpful. He checked the order for me and brought it outside to the car. As I was pulling away , he chased me down because I had forgotten something inside In addition to Fancy Fixtures I used Ken and Carlos at Elegant Tile and marble . Have never had such a conscientious contractor! Ken was constantly in touch and did the best tile job I have ever seen. Caries was careful and neat in all other the other installations. He pointed out issues that never would have found myself, saving me time and money in the future. A job that really terrified me turn into a very positive experience. I highly recommend all of the above mentioned people for any work that has to be done in your house or business-and I don't do that very often. read more

Don't bother, your negative reviews speak for themselves. You can say all you want, but besides the floral tile that we disagree on, it took you six weeks and for me to ask for it for you to refund the over $6000 on the larger portion of the return. If I hadn't asked for it, you wouldn't have even refunded it. read more

Be aware of their blame the customer policy. I ordered special grout from them thinking they will be able to guide me. i took my tile sample 12 inch by 12 inch, told sales person exact measurement and she calculated 14 tins costing me $ 1250! No where in invoice they mention no returns or return within 30 days! Now they are refusing to take return since I did not buy tiles from them! $ 650 loss for no fault of mine. They are rude and just do not care. I am going to small court. read more

We purchased $6000 worth of bathroom fixtures including a toilet. The toilet was unable to fit in the area we needed. We caalled the day after it was delivered to review our options. After three weeks they finally got back to us. They charge a 28% restocking fee and over $270 for freight back to the manufacturer. Basically the cost of the toilet. Their customer service is horrible and buyer beware of the fees if something doesn't go as expected. I've owned by own business for 30 years and would never treat a customer the way that they did. I will surely tell everyone I know not to shop at this business. read more

I enjoyed working with Diane Bellipario at Fancy Fixtures. Diane worked extremely hard to help me find material for my project. Even though my project was "small" she searched all resources for a particular item and never gave up. I recommend working with Diane at Fancy Fixtures. WORST COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME Buyer BEWARE! If I could give them a negative Star I would. They are horrible and disgusting. They are dishonest and blame the client instead of taking ownership! I made an appointment with Patricia for an early morning appointment. When I got there she was already sitting with Someone else(a contractor) After waiting for 30 minutes I let her know I'm still waiting, she turns to me and says you can just leave the sample and here's your payment info. I told her we have an appointment. She tells me no we don't. A member from her staff said to her, yes you do bc you asked for the appointment book from me so you can write her in. Anyway long story short she told me she only has a few minutes before next client comes in and she has to rush and I have to make another appointment. She said she would order me a sample of another tile. Well a month and a week later I still hadn't heard back from her that my tile had come in. I called and left a message. Still hadn't heard back so today I called to speak to a manager. I explained to her what had happened. Later in the day she had Patrcia call me. She came up with oh bc of covid we had 3 ppl not here so your sample came in and you can come pick it up tomorrow. I told her I no longer. I went to explain that she should have contacted me on when it came in and that it was her responsibility to follow up on it. She tells me no, it's your responsibility to check in and see if it came in. Really... I then as to speak to Margret the manager. Margret comes on the phone and I try to explain to her what was happening and before I could say a word she tells me that they aren't the type of store I should shop with and hangs up the phone. Women owned and ran by women is their motto.. ladies this is such BS if that were the case they would appreciate and treat their women client better especially when the mistake is done on their part.. own it and apologize and ask what could we do to rectify this... not blame the client. WORST PLACE TO SHOP AT... you can find their products all over the island as well as much better. Horrible ladies with horrible customer service! It's why they only have 2 stars... take your hard earned money and shop somewhere you are appreciated! Such an disgusting manger Margret is! I pray that karma comes back to them. If you need anything and especially if you don't have time to waste... go else where... they don't care... they are horrible horrible horrible. HORRIBLE. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Would give ZERO stars if I could. I purchased a marble back splash from this vender that was simply not up to par (chipped, not flush when laid down). My contractor put part of the backsplash up before taking it down immediately when he noticed it was bad quality material. Fancy fixtures took months to get back to me about my refund and then refused to credit me back the full amount I paid (which was over priced to begin with). They are overpriced for poor quality items. Do not waste your time and look elsewhere. read more

I recently used Fancy Fixtures to do three bathrooms and a kitchen backsplash. I had also used them in my previous house about 15 years ago. Both times I worked with Sandra and I couldn't have asked for a better experience she truly made everything easy. She was extremely helpful and patient and showed me a variety of materials and had some fantastic ideas. Sandra was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for help with their bathrooms or kitchen. The customer service was excellent. I was kept updated on all of my orders, and I found all the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. I would give them zero stars if I could! I called and requested to make a purchase via telephone due to Covid concerns. I was told that they will not do that nor would Robin take my phone number to have someone call me back as she informed me that although she answered the phone "she was not a receptionist ". When I mentioned my Covid concerns she dismissed my concern citing that they have been open a month and are very careful. She was beyond insulting and uncooperative. She left me with only the option of emailing all of my questions to her and hoping that she would consider "making and exception" and sending me prices or leaving a random voicemail and hoping for a call back. Worst fixture store, worst customer care, dishonest, as customer with a budget I was made to wait hours during a scheduled appointment as the sales person was answering phone calls, writing emails and taking care of more lucrative customers's needs. Many mistakes on orders which as a customer I could not realize until it was too late. They misquote shipping and receiving schedules. They have their own code names that do not correspond to the manufacturer description or name. Once Items were receive that arrived too late and try to return they slapped an outrageous restocking fees. They hold money hostage months after items were returned. All and all in every way the worst experience I ever had shopping for house fixtures and tiles. read more

Two and a half weeks later and still waiting for a proposal from Antonette. She has promised it "in the next few days" and "today" and "tomorrow" and doesn't even pretend to mean it. Absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered from any business. If everything goes smoothly with your order, they're not bad to deal with. But the second there's a problem (for us, one of the parts delivered was defective), they are completely useless. They do not care and will not go above and beyond to make sure they do right by you. Keeping a customer updated when it is taking weeks and weeks to replace a defective part is common courtesy. So is trying to accomodate a client who has been majorly inconvenienced. We couldn't even get that much. 100% would not recommend. We have family and friends who have taken their business elsewhere as well. Beware. read more

I have bought many things at FF over the past 10 years for my homes & the homes of family members. The attention to my decorating needs was fantastic. Hours were spent together with Sandra searching for the exact right tile, flooring, vanity, faucets & fixtures, etc in a fun & relaxed way. Phone calls and emails were answered in a timely fashion, with all the information requested. Decorating suggestions were offered in a professional & kind manner. I never felt rushed, appointments are long & uninterrupted. The many projects came out beautifully; I received many compliments and referred many people to FF. The people I referred had positive experiences and were very satisfied With FF also. The showroom is amazing, large and immaculate with thousands of samples. Today was my second time visiting Fancy Fixtures. This time, I had an appointment with Sarah. Although I was late, she began our appointment pleasant and helpful. By the middle of the appointment, when she realized I was budget conscious (unlike most of her clientele, namely Barnes and Nobles daughter, one of the affluent she assists and made a point of mentioning to me as she checked her watch for closing time), her attention shortened and it became apparent that she could not help me because my budget was too small. She showed me a few tiles that could be options and then ended the appointment. After looking around by myself, I came back to her desk with some additional questions and she sharply said "you're going to have to wait a second." I waited and then with an attitude she "answered my questions" but clearly could not be bothered with this poor girl who is spending over 90k on home renovations and wanted to engage in a creative session designing a bathroom with someone who only cares about how deep my pockets are. If you do not enjoy overpaying for tile and do not live in Lloyd Neck, Laurel Hollow, Mill Neck, etc or if your last name is not Pergament, Fortunoff - skip this place!
