I am reviewing the cafe and not so much the grocery part of the store. We came here to look for veggies. I was starving so decided to order something to eat. They have a little bakery/deli that makes coffee and sandwiches. I ordered a coffee with milk and sugar with a ham, egg, cheese sandwich. I totally caught the girl making my coffee take a sip of the coffee after pouting it into my cup. I found it a bit hilarious. I get it...making sure it came out ok. My coffee was just right. I enjoyed my sandwich too. Great for a quick bite if you're in the market. read more

They are worth the stop. The place was clean & well stocked with a helpful staff & good prices. Although some of the products were the same as what you find in other stores but there were a lot of unusual & hard to find items. It was fun seeing different products and getting ideas for new meals and dishes. They also have the very best Cuban bread ever along with some tasty bakery items. read more

So this was the first trip here. There was some average produce there, but mixed in was some fresh produce that at a reasonable price. Found this market driving by and read the reviews on Yelp and decided to check it out. Glad I did. Upon entering, my eyes were delighted to see the rainbow of fresh fruits and vegetables! And the prices are so much better than in the "regular" grocery stores. The meats in the back are fresh and stocked with any kind of cut you can think of. I can't wait to cook the red snapper we got cleaned and filleted! The market is clean and when in Orlando, I will definitely be back to this store which will be my "regular" go to! Would of got 5 stars but I do suggest the store put scales so that shoppers can weigh their produce & veggies prior to purchase. I'd be remiss if I did not mention the bakery in the front of the store!! What a hidden gem! Dulcelina is GREAT! The hot, fresh empanadas, pastries, and cakes are out of this world. They didn't make it to my car as my husband and I took down several chicken and steak & cheese empanadas right there in front of the bakery!!! Embarrassed but we don't care... good food deserves to be eaten hot & with your fingers. Ask for the "green sauce" with a touch of Tabasco and there you have a small piece of heaven on earth!!! This store has a lot of well-stocked, well organized selection of inexpensive fruits/veggies and nonperishables. The quality of the fruits are that of your local farmers market being relatively high quality. Most of the stores nonperishable items feature many Caribbean/Hispanic products. The prices of the nonperishables are pretty average. Not much cheaper than where I can find elsewhere. On the other hand with their produce, for example, I was able to find $.99 pomegranates. The shelves are very organize and the store overall is squeaky clean with shiny new tile flooring. They also have a bakery, deli, frozen foods, and seafood area. Since I live in the Tampa Bay area, I can't really come here frequently enough to give a better or worse review. However, based on my experience here for the first time, I would recommend it to everyone else. read more

Let me tell u.. WE LUV,LUV,LUV this place.. Being Hispanic I can find everything for cooking. Everyone is always pleasent and for ingredients needed plus meats, fruit, spices, seafood etc.. you can't beat their prices.. most of their items are solo inexpensive..We LUV the butcher.. :-) read more

OMG, the lady who complained about buying wrong meat, I had EXACTLY the same problem with these fools. I bought meat there at least 3 or 4 times and every time I bought meat there it was wrongly labeled goat, but it was NOT, it pork or some strange meat. I stopped shopping there altogether, my 8 year daughter would NEVER eat any meat I bought from there. I come from Colombia, I've eaten goat all my life....We now buy our meats and fresh produce across the street, on the big Jamaican store and their meat is always FRESH, and real goat, they don't play those stupid games. read more

Today I bought to bags of there quarter chicken to find out later the pieces of Chicken were the size of a whole bird. The pieces of meat were so over processed it made me sick. I took the meat back up to the store for a refund and the girl at the front would not give me a refund after I told her the meat is over process and is bad. She writes store credit on a receipt and tells me I can keep that for future references. What the hell am I going to do with a receipt ? I'm pissed off read more

I was shocked when I walked into the store to see that their tomatoes were greenish pink and not even ripe. I have seen better tomatoes at grocery stores. I immediately left and went to a store that had ripe tomatoes. Fancy Fruit, I think not!!! read more

Horrible customer service, walked in to see 3 people waiting in line as the person working at customer service was counting her draw... One by one they walked away. I walked up to her she didn't even look up. I said hi, she asked how may I help you, I informed her 3 customers just walked out, she says, well they didn't say anything when they walked up. I was extremely shocked to realize this place sells lamp and pork meat labeled as "GOAT meat." And in most cases, they mix goat meat with pork and lamp and label it "Goat Meat" This is really disgusting and foolish. Just in case you don't know, goat meat, lamp or port meat when cut into small pieces, like they do, look exactly the same and since it's frozen, you can't detect any smell. The only way to know the difference or tell is you bought goat, or port, is after cooking it, or un-freezing it when you get home. Them mislabeling their meats is totally unprofessional, unacceptable and fraudulent. And they can't allow you to complain, if you try to complain, they shut you down or tell you to bring back the meat even if you'd already cooked it. One of these days someone will eat that lamp or pork meat thinking it's goat meat and get very serious allergic reaction and legally sue these people. It's very sad people are allowed to practice this kind of fraud business in the United States. Very sad. read more

The smell is a bit overwhelming as you walk into this market. They have a variety of vegetables and fruits that you won't see at Publix. What I noticed is that while the prices seem good, I didn't feel I saw nearly the quality I see in Publix. I don't think this place is for me. read more
