Absolutely superb fresh fish and all things seafood market. I love how they also serve a chowder and lobster bisque daily and both are amazing. For holidays and busy times, they set up a chucking station for oysters, etc. the service is top notch and the quality and freshness of the fish and seafood is in a league of its own.

Simply a great seafood market! Not many of these left. Great selection, very fair pricing. Picked up Stone Crab claws a couple of times during our time in Winter Park and couldn't have been more pleased. Great quality (even for a guy who's formerly from Miami). Cases of fresh fish in stock. Stop by... you won't be disappointed.

I love coming here for all my Seafood! Everything is always fresh, the freshest I've found here in Central FL. Lobsters, Snappers, Salmon, Halibut they have such a wide variety, you won't be disappointed. You can also find seasonings and fresh herbs. Service is always great and if you don't like the fishy smell of most seafood places, you'll love it here.

This is my go to place for seafood. My only complaint is their service is so slow even when there's no one in there. 4.5 stars.

Been going here for a while but got dead slimy clams twice in the same day after returning to get better quality. Probably won't got back for a while.

If they are open & don't close when tapped they are dead and will make you sick

I ordered a bag of 100 clams a couple days before New Year's Eve. I expected 5-6, maybe 10 to be dead...but 35 was a whole different thing. We called, the manager was supposed to call back. Apparently using the ringy dingy tool escapes him. My stepdad did business with them for years so I expected far better. I would say if you want to be sure you aren't getting shafted - go in person and if it smells fishy just leave.

Was craving some seafood so I thought I would check this place out after shopping at Trader Joe's. Their specials were posted on the door but not clearly posted on the sale items. I had to look at their website on my phone for the specials which was a pain. As soon as you walk into the door grab a number if you want seafood from the counter. I grabbed a number and was the second person in line but for some reason I got skipped and the guy beyond the counter wasn't using the number system and helped out another customer. I wasn't to thrilled with the customer service behind the seafood counter. The sale items were not marked so you can find them. Had to ask to find out which snow crabs were on sale since there was different sizes. Found out the large crab legs were on sale for $11.98 which were in the freezer section. As I was shopping I heard a guy yell out cash only which we almost left because I didn't have much cash on me and had no clue they didn't take credit cards. The cashier was very nice. She told us we could use our debit card. Overall, what saved the day was the key lime pie which was on sale for $10.98. The key lime pie is excellent but needed just a tad more lime juice for a little more pucker. The texture of the pie is exceptional! I was disappointed in the customer service behind the counter. If you are going to have a number system and yell out when customers walk into the store when they open to grab a number wouldn't you use it. Just wish the customer service was more efficient and be friendly. The jumbo key west pinks were huge and tasted great. Haven't tried the crab legs yet. Probably would have gave 2 stars but the key lime pie saved the day.

    Lombardi's's homemade clam chowder

Lombardi's Seafood, has been my go to spot to get local fresh seafood in Orlando for over 25 years. Today I wanted to highlight one item that I've enjoyed over the years that has been so consistent and such an amazing price and that is the what I called "can't miss clam chowder". Obviously, Lombardi's's has some of the freshest seafood you can get in the city however, the clam chowder which the large bowl is still only $10, to 12 bucks. This soup is packed with clams and always a fan favorite of the people in the know that are true Lombardi's's folks. If you're a fan of a great creamy, no fluff, full flavor clam chowder. This is a spot for you. Check it out. Let me know.

She told me that if you purchase two of the same items, you get a discount. Since I planned to stock up for the holidays, I bought two of the mushroom medley packets, two frozen halibut packages and two creamy risotto packets. (I had the mushroom medley and creamy risotto combination at the Yelp event, and the taste of that combo was amazing!) When I went to the checkout, I noticed I did not see a discount on all my purchases. The gentleman behind the register explained that I did receive one dollar off for the second risotto purchase as that was part of the "2 for Less" promotion. I learned that the "yellow" promotion stickers relate to the "yellow" price tags in the case, so not "all" items in the display case are eligible for the discount. My bad! I should have asked for a more detailed explanation of the promotion prices upfront. I learned that if the price tag is red, it's not part of the discount in that case. I'll now better next time. So, if you are new to Wild Fork like me, just something to consider. I still think all their products are excellent and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity provided, so I definitely will return. I'll just make sure I have a better understanding of any future promotions! :)

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.
