I gave this salon a shot off a whim I was told that they had a great special going on so who am I to turn down a good deal. Sometimes u just have to stick with your gut! Now I've been to nail salon that are packed that's a good guarantee that they provide great service and are highly liked but I walk in and there's only one other person in shop. I should've turned around and walked away then! But I'm the type of person to give someone a shot. I have never in my history of getting my nails done stopped a pedicure at any point but today I had to! The pedicure started and there was no long soak of the feet the water was like warm and I don't mind hot water at all but I was like it fine. The nail specialist immediately gets the drill out keep in mind my nature nails were clean and bare then used the drill to the point my nails are burning because she's drilling too much then she gets out the cuticle cutters and cuts extremely too much of my skin off to the point I'm snatching my toes back letting her know hey that hurts she ignores me and keeps goin now she asked if I wanted a drink I asked for a simple can or sprite never received it after drilling my nails as cutting almost all of my cuticle off she applies acrylic on one of my big toe immediately after and I wanted to jump out of my chair as soon as the bead touched my skin it burned I asked her is it supposed to burn it's burning and uncomfortable at this point my cuticles are bleeding and I'm telling her hey it's burning I keep repeating it she keeps moving forward to butcher my cuticles on the other foot once again causing me to bleed I'm sorry but I had to tell her please take it off and she proceeded to say I was being sensitive and she doesn't know what happened like she didn't see blood she put some green solution on it that burned worse than the alcohol and remover combined and told me to stick my foot back in the water I could write a book about my experience but just know even thorough all that I still tipped her because I don't like the idea of not tipping because this economy is hard I will not be a returning customer read more

I have never in my life experienced anything like this! I walked in with my toenails looking better than when I walked out. Apparently the owner did my pedicure and kept walking away so that his 4 year old son could touch my wet toenails and make me get up so he could use my seat to build his airplane. When i asked where the gentleman was who was doing my nails, I was informed that he had left for the day and I was finished! Never in my life will I ever go back or refer t his place to anyone! read more

I love coming here to get my nails done! I'm not from the area so it took awhile for me to find a good nail salon (seems hard to find these days), but I am picky about my nails. I can't say enough good things about Eileen, she allows me to take my time in picking out a color, gives suggestions, and takes her time as she cares about the work she does! Not to mention, she does a fantastic job! This was definitely my favorite set, I think I found my signature color I move in less than a year, I'll be sad to leave Fancy Nails. read more

I requested a gel manicure and regular express pedicure. There are very little gel polish and regular polish color options at this location. The staff there do not seem like they sanitize the tools that they use for their clients. After my pedicure was finished, the nail technician used the same tools that he had used on my toes, then pick off dead skin on his own hand. Even though I requested a manicure, I was only given a gel polish change, and none of my cuticles were taken care of. It also cost about $70 which I thought was a little bit much for the service I received. Also beware they do not accept American Express. I will not be returning to this location. read more

I wasn't too satisfied with this place. When o go in the one thing I look forward to is the foot massage, I mean come on I could buy my own nail polish so the massage is where the money is at. However this place took 2 mins for a half down job, not to mention I got gel polish and within 2 days it was already chipping. Will not be coming back. read more

Had a fill today at Fancy Nails. I walked in without an appointment and waited about 15 minutes. The wait was definitely worth it. My nails were in bad shape when I got there, and by the time I left, they looked great. The woman who took care of me was very thorough and took great care with every step of the process. The salon was clean and neat, and everyone was friendly. Although I don't live in the area, if I were to return, I would definitely come back to Fancy Nails. read more

The best part about this shop is young girl who polished my nails the older women started my nails with out information on the price of pink acrylic or clear I came in with pink but would have gotten clear if I had known it would be more so I ended up paying 35 buck for a fill in yes you heard right 1st she told me its because my nails was long but she didn't need to add any nails to my hand then she said it was the pink acrylic..not to mention she was rubbing her nose before she touched me I should have gotten up at that moment also I'm pretty sure the young lady who was working there was under age so no nail license but her work was great so she will get a star....dont go here just find a new spot read more

I ended up going somewhere else as this salon is always empty, smells like cleaning products and they are always playing games god or soap operas which I can't stand. So many of the salons around here do that. Sooo not relaxing. Ugh. Also, they just run the place like they don't care if they get business or not. I am so over Alabama nail salons. This was my first visit to Fancy Nails and I came as a walk-in. I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the place. Wait was reasonably short. Service was top notch! They serve multiple customers at once, but still help you feel like you're the most important. They have 10 manicure stations and 16 pedi chairs plus 4 kids pedi chairs. Yet they're not so full that they can't give their customers attention. I definitely recommend them! read more

Waiting time quite a bit without appointment. Very low key. Do not expect to be offered a beverage there. The person giving me a pedicure hardly uttered a word and did not ask what kind of pedicure I wanted, just gave me the spa one. Pedicure fine. Chairs comfortable. Free WIFI a plus. Appearance clean. Big flat screen TV tuned to news which was fine. Only 3 people working there on a Friday afternoon and sparse clientele. read more
